    the A pillar barely crumpled, and most importantly, the dashboard didn't move at all to crush the driver's knees. The car performed quite well.

    Guys, i have this car, i bought it as new in 2017..now its 2021 and lodgy did not have any serious issue.. only what i have to mention is that car has windy noise inside a cabin which is annoying during faster drive (130km/h)... also door gum is bad and needs to be replaced after 4 years.. but ... i never had car which can bring so much things at once as this... basically, you can put there whole couch :) ... this is cheap car which provide a lot of help lot of carrying a lot of services... regarding drive feelings well my wife still praise drive feelings because its much softer when we compare with skoda fabia III.. also i cant complaint about drive with this car...

    Sincer, din lateral a rezistat chiar foarte bine, se observa de la 1:12 => 1:27. Chiar mai bine decat ma asteptam:D

    Urmatoarele stele sunt date de sisteme precum ESP ASR si protectia la pietoni. Nici un criteriu de genu nu te ajuta in momentul impactului

    Yes the level of protection is 72% that is ok... but car chassis strenght is on the limit, and Dacia Lodgy is not heavy as car in its class its about 1240 kg some compact car are heavier than that... but still this is big car for low price and thats what its all about :)

    Si in plus nu exista scuza ca e "low cost" deoarece alte masini din aceeasi clasa de pret se descurca mult mai bine, exemple sunt multe
    Chevrolet Spark 4*, Aveo 5*, Panda 4, Alto 5, Swift 5, Cruze 5 (si este mai ieftin), noua Skoda Rapid 5, Octavia 5, Fiat Bravo 5, si tot asa.

    My friend, with 12.000 euro I can buy a very nice recent used car, with only a "few" kms, with a more powerful engine, with all extras and a lot safer too...The ESP has helped me in several wet situations, this does not mean I'm a bad driver, because I believe that even without this equipment, I would have left those situations uninjured, but I can't say the same for my wife, who in addition to inexperienced in such situations, always drives the car with my 2 years old daughter on the back seat.

    I’m sorry for those who bought/planing to buy this car. My friend had an accident in which he luckily wasn’t hurt but the the car was completely f0cked. It was his only family car that they recently bought and could’t use it for a while to get back home in suburbs. To sum up, don’t be fooled by low price, because you get what you pay for.

      That's what insurance is for. Only fact that matters in accident is to stay alive or, better, not to get hurt at all.

    Salut! Octavia 5 incepe de la 12900, suma care este depasita de cateva modele de Lodgy. Mai bine cauta liste de preturi pe net, decat sa comentezi aiurea.

    e mult 3 stele..duster ul a rezistat mult mai bn si a luat tot 3 stele...sa mai puna o stea la duster sau sa mai scada una la lodgy..si ziceau k in sfarsit au facut masina d 4 stele...mi se pare mult mai slaba ca celelalte

    The obtained 3 stars are not justified, much less coming from a brand that belongs to Renault group, which enhances so much the safety of the occupants and that in this matter has evolved so much in recent years. The fact of not being equipped with standard stability control, is equally unforgivable, considering this model characteristics. It's a shame...

    Will the A pillar not crumble with ABS? With the head rest prevent whiplash? NO.
    Go ahead and buy a 9500 euro car.

    Salut! Daca la un off set de 40% a avut acest grad de deformare la stalpul A, nu dau cu presupusul, ci sunt sigur ca ar fi mult mai rau la un small off set. Eu am in spate o diploma de inginer tcm, tu ce ai?

    Trei stele e chiar bine, daca ii facea "small offset crash test" cum fac la marcile care cer acest lucru nici macar 2 nu lua. Si cat mai putine reply-uri cu "vai ce prostii vorbesti" sau "tipic romanului sa comenteze aiurea", deoarece asta este adevarul.

    Probabil te simti inteligent cu expresiile astea ? Ghici ce "baiatu" poti sa cumperi masina din aceeasi clasa cu a loganului si cu pret asemanator dar cu siguranta sporita "baiatu" si uite ca se poate ;) Documenteaza-te

    Ok it shouldn't i agree (safety first).... but it obviously cost more than Dacia can handle... all in all if you whant safe car dont buy Dacia shamefull but true :))

    laughably pathetic from renault. i don't understand why they'd even keep the dacia name. many years ago,volvo took over daf cars,daf then ceased to exist as a brand name. am i missing something?
