@jmsask This video is exactly what you mentioned. Years of negotiating the process of being a dealer and negotiating coins. I am glad to help! Thank you for watching.
Lots of great tips here. Every time I go to a coin show I figure out where the closest police office is. If I even slightly suspect that I'm being followed I go to the police station. It happened once and that was enough to make me happy that I had that plan in place. Being vigilant takes some time but it really is worth it. Thanks, Raven!
As always, Raven, great information!! I only wish there were some shows (or better yet, a LCS here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina) that weren't so far away from me! I miss doing coin shows where I used to live! Take care, be safe and God bless!
I only went to 2 coin shows. I like seeing a coin before I buy it. My person that I buy most of my coins is going to retire very soon. Lately he giving me a break and he giving me a cheaper price then before. I am looking at a new guy but don't know how. I would like to see them on RUclips first before I see them in person to see if I like that person
You have to do what is best for you brother. I am sure you will eventually find the right fit. It's nice to hear you're getting some better deals. Thanks for watching!
I almost always forget my list of dates and mints that I need. Make sure you have that in your "show carry" lol. It was good to see you at the show Raven.
Thanks Raven! After watching this I now have the skills to negotiate your price down next time I buy from you at a show! Lol. In all seriousness, hope to see you again soon at one of the next Texas shows.
Very good tips and ideas. Thank you! Like you said, it’s important to browse and keep an open mind. I got a super deal on a gold antique watch at a coin show.
I got followed home from the Long Beach Expo one time. Also heard a first-hand story of a man that purchased an expensive coin at the Las Vegas Coin Show, was followed to where his family had dinner and coin taken from his car there. Please people be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. People or vehicles that look out of place usually are!
Thanks for sharing that! It’s important to keep our heads on a swivel and not be oblivious to those around us. I know a few dealers that have been followed as well and a few that had their stuff stolen when making multiple trips from the show to their vehicles.
Great video thanks for the information but ill probably never get to go to a show cause where I live we don't have any shows anyway thanks for sharing raven hawk coins
@@timsmith9645 Thank you for watching, brother Tim. I am sorry to hear that there aren't any shows in your area. Maybe one day it can happen! Or maybe you might check one out when traveling 🤔 I appreciate your support!
