Gotta love the sound of a high revving 2 liter normally aspirated touring car engine at 8500 rpm, and yes the engine in the Mondeo is a 2 litre N/A Mazda KL based V6 at 300 hp , the same engine was also used in the Mazda Xedos 6 super touring car, as well as the Ford Probe and Mazda MX6 road cars.
