"Step up to the plate girls and play with the big boys" is exactly what TOCA made Audi do in 1998 when they could no longer hide behind their 4WD system in the BTCC, and what happened then? They spent the majority of the reason languishing in the mid-field. There's no doubt that Audi were clever in homologating a 4WD model. Nobody else had that option because nobody else had a 4WD in their range, but nobody can deny that it was a massive advantage in all but bone dry conditions.
In the BTCC protesting the Audi's Quattro system was not anti-VAG, it was protesting a fundamental advantage that the Audi's had over everyone else. None of the other competitors had a 4WD model in their range by 1996/97 so couldn't possibly have homologated a model to compete.
Primera and Mondeo has AWD version, but they can't come up with an AWD system that's not overweight. Actually Nissan used AWD Primera's rear Mcpherson strut structure until 1999 when rules banned it.
Kann mir denn hier jemand erklären, was genau die Felder Ö S G C und D im Tacho, bei 5:36 bedeuten? Also wann die aufleuchten? Konnte bis jetzt nur rausfinden, dass G grün leuchtet wenn geschaltet werden soll. Auf den Rest komm ich leider nicht

gm cant compete. their tech is old. audi is new. diesel r10 tdi ftw eh. corvette is fast. but not audi fast.
