- A blast in the past with this WIP Destruction derby 2 mod by The Very End giving us 2 new tracks from the awesome PlayStation 1 game with more tracks to come :) I quickly show you a race from the awesome Chalk canyon track and Red Pike Arena Destruction derby.

As old as this track is and the significant jump in physics. It’s amazing to see the same choke points and jumps are causing the same chaos they did back then hahaa!
Someone should seriously make a destruction derby 2 again with all the tracks and cars! Would defo buy!

Too Right Mate, This and Comand & Conquer Need to be Made so Badly.. Trying to Create A destruction Derby playlist on Gta with the new DLC on the PS4. Just trying to get 30players in and stick to the same car is tricky.

0:19 That is the exact thing that I would do in every single race on that map, like christ! Get the whole damn competitors stuck. And you could kinda phase though some of them and win the race while they're stuck too! I miss the Yellow Card lady that would always crash somewhere. (Personalities were nice)
Such a shame it didn't had Multiplayer for me to had played with my dad.
Only thing missing is the badass soundtrack love it!
And the commentary! Can't forget

if the cars looked more like they did back then(form wise, not graphical) it had the same soundtracks and the same/similar guy shouting those...phrases...this would work

I freaking agree with all of you but why nobody ever make a case for the HANDLING of DD2. Personally, I wouldn't want a remake because the reason I still play DD2 on emulator is because for me the handling is perfectly tuned even after all these years, it gives me more satisfaction than modern, more realistic handling (although Wreckfest is/was very good online)... I wouldn't know how to describe this specific handling, but GOD, the speed (first person view only), the balance, the strange exaggerated pitch/roll curvatures of the road (for that this mod makes a funny nod hihi with crazy physics), the craziness of the adversaries and their 'personalities', the death everywhere on the last laps of Black Sail Valley, SCA, Chalke Canyon, avoiding all the carcasses .. I always return to this, no need new games :D

this is a nice looking version of chalk canyon, looks alot like the original, althought i think with the update physics the track should be more drawn out so you can get up to fast speeds and actual race

Destruction derby RAW
Destruction derby 2 is better! So much faster and chaotic.
DD2 is better than any game. And i freakin'love wreckfest.
might as well then play Flatout 2. No... Wreckfest is the best of them all. Realistic, and combines simulation with arcade driving. It's a perfect derby game!
Was I the ONLY one in Destruction Derby 2 on PS1 on this track right at the skinniest part of the track @2:29 on the first lap you park there in the middle so other cars cant get around you & u only take damage to the rear of your car from the first or second guy to hit u, then EVERY car will hit those guys, many will get stuck & they just keep trying to get out going back & forth (Just like the Austin Powers scene, rofl!) & they all end up destroyed, u can easily push your way past after or just be the last one standing to win!

I miss the figure 8 in the first DD. That driving course in DD2 is something else though. How can anyone survive it is the question

The sounds are a bit weak for my taste. Also needs the appropriate soundtracks. And the cars damage too quickly. Also, don't forget to use the back of the car (drive backwards) in the arenas.

Wish the mod was still avaliable, if I remember seeing, the 2017 version is ass.

And critic's butchered Destruction Derby Arenas... look what crap we got since then. Absolute boring gameplay in my opinion.
