Hi TamilVolk! Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video. Sorry I only just saw the video, but I managed to get my channel back!! It really means a lot to know how many people showed up to support me and others who are going through this stuff. I really appreciate you, and hope you have great success with your channel. If there's anything I can do to help you, let me know. :)
One of the original art youtubers is now gone. He was a big inspiration for me when learning drawing. I hope he gets his channel in some way, though it does not seem like it is possible anymore.
Ngl, if I watched your video just a moment before I watched Istebrak's video explaining how he mistreated her, I would have felt bad for Sycra. My eyes are dry for that man.
@nerdwholikestowatchanime In short, Sycra took her video contents and was regurgitating her thought process when it came to how to make illustrations in his videos. She saw that and asked politely to give her a shout out of where he got the information. Nothing else. While she was doing her teaching courses with her students, he was answering to her by writing digusting stuff. She saw it after her teaching sessions and called him. It was literal abuse. He was belittling her. How dare she. She owns nothing and that he will make a video exposing her, ruining her career and all. Of course, all the context isn't there with a few sentences. You'll need to watch Istebrak's video to have the full context. What's for sure is I believe he's the worst. He's a two-faced person. I never imagined him like that.
I understand your perspective. Although I feel it may be missing the approach most creators are taking. Regardless of the individual this catastrophe is happening to, this situation is an example of how small creators are abandoned by RUclips as a platform. Looking at the fact that this creator (Sycra) posted content for over a decade- and there is not a solution already in the works by RUclips to solve a problem such as this is devastating. Having a personal bias towards individuals due to their actions is understandable, but when it comes to issues such as these, I feel we should leave behind the nuance that causes us to take the emotional standpoint. I genuinely believe that it hurts the community as a whole when we point to someone and say they deserved the bad thing that happened to them because they did 'x'. Focusing on taking a stance on whether it was deserved distracts from the fact that it isn't just happening to creator. It's happening all over. We just happened to notice this time.
