Im sad to see these go. But at the same time, these things needed a mod very badly. They broke down (mainly the high rise) very often. It even broke when I was staying in the hotel. Also, the westinghouse motors are still there, they just increased the speeds of them.
Unfortunately since this was taken, I have heard from several people that the keyreaders have been activated on these elevators. I am staying here soon so I will be able to confirm in a few weeks

Interesting mod. They have no changes in Elevator but the Miconic 10 keypad is replaced with PortOS. That very sad that the Miconic 10 Keypad for this is gone
I remember riding these back in April of 2018 when they were the original Schindler Miconic 10. They were amazing, kind of sad to see that they got modernized.
I have a different opinion about this modernization. It definitely needs it because the elevators were really glitchy, particularly the handicap feature where it would ring a different car than the one it was assigned to.
I'm actually blind myself. I used the Miconic 10 system when I was at the New Orleans Marriott last year. It was the first time I ever used a destination dispatch system. And from what I've seen on other videos, I don't like this newer system. You have to listen to a list of floors, and I don't think it's practical to have something like that in the lobby. I would at least keep the older system on those floors. Aside from that, I loved it.
I have been to a courtyard by Marriott last week it was enjoyable even though it was only for 1 night I wished I tried that food in the lobby in the morning

it's was probably the ID model or something, strangely, there was a very rare combination of Schindler 5500 with Miconic 10/ID systems being built in Israel, then shortly after that, the model was finally discontinued (See it here: ruclips.net/video/Dmzc4WSz19s/видео.html ). And if you are talking about the new keypads that was used alongside PORT panels in this video, those are temporary, it has been removed now, replaced w/ PORT aswell.
Train & Elevatorfan8150 if the motors are still there, they must have ripped off the motor generators. I don’t hear those epic noises. They must be upgrading everything.
it's even look more like an Android device when somebody came back in 2022-2023, the panel had it's OS upgraded, which changed the font from something similar like Times New Roman to the Roboto font (which is common font on Android OS, plus in Unreal Engine aswell).
