Don't think I could easily fold turn, but I'm definitely folding the river. Someone's got a higher straight or a boat here. If the V's are terrible, MAYBE someone has A4 or 64, and it's a disaster, but not many players are bad enough to over-value trips after the turn action.
Heads up I could not fold turn either. But when BTN calls the HJs raise and we are OOP and cannot improve, then I think the fold is trivial.

@@EllieBanks333I wouldn't necessarily fold turn, because HJ could be bluffing on a board pairing card which we shouldn't have in our range, and BTN might actually have a four. If HJ seems capable, I'd likely call, and check river, to see what happens. Our hand is going to be best a lot if the river checks through. They could both have 4x, and be worried about their kickers, or being beat by straights and boats.
If we check river and it goes bet-raise, it's an insta fold. If it goes check-bet, and the bet is a reasonable size, we can call. If it goes bet-call, it's close, but I think I'd call a reasonable size bet, only because we shouldn't have a lot of straights here, allowing our opponents to over-value trips.
So this video title tickled me a bit. I was watching this live stream and on the turn I typed one word in the live chat "Eject". It would be a different story if it was heads up, then we can consider [as Bart points out] 5th St. chicken. Because we can find over-values that we beat: trip 4s. However, with not only the raise, but also the call behind & hero being OOP, this is simply a trivial fold. In other news; we can confirm callers description of this game as very loose by the reveal. Players are holding 63 & 94 and called a 6X open.
Yeah I’m folding this on the turn. As well as being OOP and it being multi-way, hero is drawing dead if behind but even when ahead vs 4x villain will still have up to 10 outs.

I play a lot of splashy games and when the board paired on the turn, I would have checked to see how the action develops, especially since it was a full rainbow board. That way you don't bloat the pot unnecessarily and make a decision depending on the action and the size of the turn bet if it doesn't check thru.
The issue is when you are so nutted you want to blow the pot up, usually you win flopping a wheel there. Obviously this hand was on the extreme side but to never build a big pot sounds nitty
@@toynoob2051 the thing is in a splashy game you're not close to being nutted. There's a lot of 36s, 45 off and suited, pocket 4's, pocket 5's, imagine the winner had 49o. I know this example looks extreme but in splashy games it's not that uncommon.
Sounds like the game has passive calling stations. I would’ve bet the turn and simply folded to the raise.
Assume you check turn, HJ bets, and CO calls. Are you calling behind or folding? Suppose CO raises, same question?
I play splashy games, too. Very often I find opponents are either overly-prone to slow-playing their big hands, or they're over-aggressive about protecting their hands.
Here, depending on how I view the V's, I may not expect either opponent to be slow-playing 55/44/22/54 on the flop, since we shouldn't have too many straights here, so I'm not too worried about boats on the turn. Instead, I'd be hoping someone has 4x and would be willing to call a big bet. I'd only be worried if I thought V's were flatting and over-calling pre as wide as 63, but even then, we partially block that by having a 3 in our hand.
I think this is a spot where we can continue to v-bet, targeting all our opponent's over-pairs, draws, and 2P hands.
@@1vailchris it would definitely depend on sizing but it would be an easy fold to a big bet and call. Like you said they rarely slow play their big hands, so if they bet big and the other player calls you're most likely beat.

Rake in Toronto is this bad across the board, but I've been beating these games for years across thousands of hours. Still beatable for a good win rate, you just have to make some big adjustments.
