Makenoise has a zine? Truly you keep the old ways alive.
I love the continued support for morphagene! Thanks Make Noise :)
Awesome! ... now make a wave table module 🤩
Thanks for this-- excited to try it out. I can hear octaves but never managed to tune MG v/oct before. I prefer to just tune the sequencer!
2:30 ... white means one octave below green/original speed? That is super helpful, must have read over it in the manual.
Yes, and it will change color at every octave throughout the range, forward and reverse :)
Wow, this is awesome. I got to try this after I move.
Have fun! Don't forget to record the sounds of packing and unpacking!
top notch....TOP NOTCH!
4:10 That sounds amazing 👍🏻
Glad you liked it!
It went from 8bit video game to Herbie Hancock funk to space jazz in under 5 seconds. 👍
That's a compliment I can be proud of! Thanks!
Brilliant approach, thank yous!
Thanks for watching!
Can you make a new firmware update to make the varispeed cv input to work with v/oct regardless of Varispeed attenuverter? Basically like normal oscillators do. I love Morphagene but tuning it is a hassle.
Sorry, but it is not possible because each input attenuator has a slightly different attenuation curve due to parts tolerance. With analog VCOs there is a factory calibration to account for this, but the Morphagene does not have such a calibration trimmer. If you use this setting a lot, I recommend setting it to full clockwise, and patching your v/oct CV through a separate dedicated attenuator that never gets touched.
Not seeing the link to the example reel. Not on Freesound, that I can see.

Very cool!
Thanks!
what happened to the awesome zine!?
We have not made a new zine issue in awhile because it was something to hand out at events, and we haven't done any events in over a year. Crossing fingers that it will be able to come back!! ⚡️
It is my dream to woggle Tonya hand at an event one day. I mean shake .keep up the ground breaking
oh of course
If only the Morphagene had a real display, some easy-to-use menus, and a setting that would just make the volts-perxoctave thing happen. I know this is outside the Makenoise philosophy, but you guys are getting into a realm where the button and knob combos place a barrier to getting down to the business of patching and making music.
Sounds terrible
Thanks!
