I had so high hopes after the trailer. Then I played the Shadow DLC and.... jesus, my disappointment was immesurable and my entire month was ruined. I mean granted, it's effing HILARIOUS, but they missed such a huge opportunity.
If you want a song with a similar vibe I'd suggest listening to "Fist Bump - Edgy Remix" on the offical Sonic youtube channel. Its a remix of the main theme of Sonic Forces and is sung by the same duo who sang Infinite's theme.

I could be wrong but i do think that somewhere it was confirmed that the song writers were actually inspired by and was listening to Linkin Park songs while making this song which is frankly perfect. But again i could be very wrong about that, either way it does have heavy Linkin Park vibes especially if you watch that video that mashes this song up with Linkin Park.
