Even though Sonic Forces wasn't great I love this theme so I had tons of fun remixing it

My idea for a fronters DLC themed around Infinite.
"The phantasm island"
"An island covered shadows and pulsing with red light. At the heart of the island is a single red gem that sends a shiver down your spine. It is THE Phantom Rubie"
You must destroy the shields protecting the Rubie so you can defeat its threat once and for all.
The last shield goes down, and the Rubie is finally in your reach, and as you're almost there, a figure stands in the air, clutching the gem.
"Sonic, I almost want to thank you. Without you, I never would have been able to complete the Phantom Rubie"
"No y-you shouldn't -
We defeated you"
"YOU DEFEATED EGGMAN!! I am not Eggman, I'm not a machine. I AM NO ONES PAWN!!!"
He crushes the gem in his hands, the power now spiraling around him.
"Bare witness, ALEPH 0"
PH4NT0M Infinite
(basically, what Super Sonic is to the chaos emeralds but with Infinite and the Phantom Rubie)
it would be a very fast paced boss fight centered around doing your best to avoid attacks and punishing rather than dealing damage. you can only parry one attack it a time and Infinite is throwing Hundreds of cannons at a time, ripping up chunks of the island to launch at you and is creating storms of phantom energy across the landscape to stop you from running.

as a person who goes by the username infinite (most of the time) i can confirm that i'm the final boss of sonic forces (i'm also the tallest of mountains) (and the roughest of waves)

Infinite deserved so much better tbh
Infinite's design is great, but I feel as if he was written as less of a threat than he could have been. If Sega went all out on Infinite, he could've been a genuine threat rather than just villian/annoyance of the week
He should of been like the Muzan of the sonic universe with his op powers and ability to make enemies.
I'm imagining an alternate version of Forces' final boss. The trio have just used Triple Boost to finish off Eggman's mech when suddenly instead of exploding, it collapes in on itself, transforming into a large, unholy combination of Infinite, Heavy King's Upgraded Form, and Eggman's mech, and in the center is the REAL Phantom Ruby, not the replica Infinite used.
And this starts playing.
New final boss: the Phantom Ruby itself!

@JuliusGrande Nothing. I like the Mega Death Egg Robot. The design & battle (while copy & paste) is cool. I believe Infinite should be the true Final boss. He's supposedly the main antagonist in Forces
I mean, he served as a boss 3 times. And after he was defeated for the 3rd time, he was weakened to a state where he couldn’t fight anymore.

@@EternityVoid_ True, but Sonic and the Rookie did enough damage to put Infinite out of the fight.
Bro, the second the vocals came in, I knew this was going to be incredible. It was well worth the wait! Also, Infinite’s laugh was a really cool touch. (At least I think that’s his laugh, lol.)

This is the best remix of Infinite's Theme and if he were the final boss in Sonic Forces and not Eggman as always then we would have seen a new form of Infinite like P.H.A.N.T.O.M. Infinite and as Super Sonic boss fight

When I heard this remix for the first time, I imagined how Infinite transforms into a giant creppy beast version of himself ( Similar to Metal Overlord ) and Super Sonic, Classic Super Sonic and Super Avatar fight against this god of phantom ruby in Nule space

Tbh infinite is my favorite in terms of design, though his execution could’ve been better, but there’s no denying his theme was awesome, and this excels it!

I really do wish this was the final boss, although Sonic Forces was not that great, they need to make a frontiers DLC themed around Infinite and there could be a boss, it would be really good if there was a frontiers DLC like that
