NOTE: As of the latest version of Inferno, the boss challenges have been fixed and are now clearable. Please excuse that criticism as it is now outdated.

Among my favorite things about this mod is how much it makes the warring factions on Rubicon actually intimidating to go up against, especially the PCA; they're genuinely terrifying to go up against now and it now makes sense to why the corporations would be so afraid of them gameplay wise. They actually feel more prepared to go up against ACs. I've been honestly playing it more than vanilla these days, and I honestly won't have it any other way xd.
P.S. Birb is straight-up evil for that overhauled Escort the Mining Ship mission :)

This mod makes it feel like an expansion to the base game, like a hard mode that 4 and For Answer had. I really enjoyed the new voice lines that were added that made the playthrough fresh. I personally don't care that the tutorial is bad since this game is made for a more challenging experience. A player that has go though what the game has to to offer doesn't really need a tutorial and would just be something extra the creator added.
I've played this game as a LW with dual laser handguns, 4 pod missiles, and an earshot. I didn't really get much trouble expect toward some bosses requiring me to change up my loadout. Due to how many enemies there are, the issue of ammo is apparent and it could be resolved if the creator somehow mods more resupplies or increases the base reserves of the weapons. I didn't have any issues with boss attacks and wish we got more instead. Just paying more attention and being on your toes will make the bosses somewhat easier to deal with.
This mod is a MUST TRY. Great review and is the reason why I even checked out this mod in the first place.

I remember trying this mod a while ago, when it was only chapter 1. I didnt like it because it felt like the main form of difficulty was "add in 20 more tetrapods. And then add in tetrapods. Then give them 4,000 MTs in a big clump"
Now that they've added in more turrets and custom AC fights, i'm excited to try it again!

Nice, I should note that there's still a lot more enemies per level, but I think the variety has improved a lot, and especially in chapter 2 onward there's a lot less tetrapod spam!

Very cool video man! Loved the last one this one is great to! I've been watching Domomosh play through it and it's looked super fun. But this is I think the final nail in the coffin to make me want to play it! Great review and can't wait to play!

So this mod is like Sekiro Resurrection or the other Overhaul mods for Fromsoft. Sweet, new reason to replay AC6 again, I love to see massive gameplay changes.

Came to see this video after my friend and I got to the first final boss on our co-op new save playthrough, and I *fully* agree with the argument about ammo being a ridiculous bottle neck AND how the mod really favors lightweights over heavyweights for bosses (especially the sol-644). One of my biggest hurdles was Ibis due to how different the change of fighting 3 ACs (one of them being a missile rat) + a C-Spider then shifting over and fighting the framekiller-5000 Ibis. Lightweight build would get crushed by the sheer number of missiles the 3 acs and spider would launch, and heavyweight builds were sitting ducks for Ibis. The pros are still very good though, outside of Ibis and SOL the game has felt pretty solid. All the MTs were genuine threats, I had to change my loadout a few times to compete with several of the changes. Ammo was nowhere near as bad as it could've been since I'd been running it co-op with a friend but the fact we were both feeling the effects of ammo does say something.

Regarding Ammo, i just wanna point out you do NOT have to kill all enemies, the footage you showed when discussion this was the destroy helicopter missions, I was able to S rank this mission in this mod with ease as you can skip a lot of enemies, non-optional enemies are marked with "TARGET" which included some additional ACs on top of the helicopters for this mission.

I find the difficulty is a bit too hard for me and the lack of new parts, even balanced(not OP) ones meant there just wasn't enough for me, long and short of it, love the changes to enemies and bosses, wish there was more to player changes or a lite version for people who are interested in the changes but can't keep up with the difficulty increase

That sounds like a really fun idea, though what you say does remind me of what I said in my conclusion; Birb clearly was targeting a certain demographic with this mod, so I’d also love to see him do things with other modders and stuff

@@themaskmaster8013 I’ll be honest, the game is much easier than I thought it would have been (granted it could be in large part to my relatively fast AC, dual rifle, missile launcher and sometimes shoulder grenade launcher set up), and I was hoping it would be fast like I’ve seen in AC4answer vids. Don’t get me wrong the game is challenging and fun but outside some of the bosses such as ayre, the ibis drone and its funnels, that HC in the wall, the enforcer (my favorite boss btw), and balteus and Sulla, the game has been overall a cake wake for me.
Especially the AC fights, I thought they would be more difficult

So I’m an AC noob, only playing AC6 so far, haven’t finished the story yet, and I’m struggling with builds and optimization. I haven’t beaten the ibis thing yet. I guess I should avoid this mod then…. Nothing about this mod seems to be friendly to people new to the game or the series…
