I bought a bible to begin from Genesis 1:1 in hopes of finding The LORD. He revealed himself by only chapter 36. I went my whole life with a blindfold. God the Father was speaking to Jesus from heaven (God the Father) speaking to Jesus His Son Who is God also (John 1:1-5) and the Holy Ghost in bodily form as a dove descended upon Him so here is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit all three in one. Three persons in the Godhead meaning all three are of the same mind and heart. An analogy would be man and wife two separate beings but one in purpose and being. There are tons of verses describing God as a Triune God. Much the way you are one human but with a spirit, a soul, and a body. You have three destnct entities in one.

That was an amazing way to share the gospel, staying on track and asking the right questions. I have been talking about Jesus to my friend of 30 yrs (who believes in idols), last week she got so angry and snapped. I’ve been praying that God reveals himself to her and the Spirit of Grace nudges her to read the Word and come to Christ.
God is already there for her, she just needs to turn to Him. It’s up to us to accept that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. We don’t need to wait for God to come to us - we need to go to Him. As all the bible was written before or during the apostolic age it wasn’t available to be put in the bible. This shows how early the New Testament was written. But in the bible it does show that Jesus is God, the Father is God and the Holy Spirit is God. They are all the same God in fundamental nature but we can clearly observe them independently and relate to each of them personally.

God the Father was speaking to Jesus from heaven (God the Father) speaking to Jesus His Son Who is God also (John 1:1-5) and the Holy Ghost in bodily form as a dove descended upon Him so here is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit all three in one. Three persons in the Godhead meaning all three are of the same mind and heart. An analogy would be man and wife two separate beings but one in purpose and being. There are tons of verses describing God as a Triune God. Much the way you are one human but with a spirit, a soul, and a body. You have three destnct entities in one.

I have been talking about Jesus to my friend of 30 yrs (who believes in idols), last week she got so angry and snapped.
I’ve been praying that God reveals himself to her and the Spirit of Grace nudges her to read the Word and come to Christ.
God is already there for her, she just needs to turn to Him. It’s up to us to accept that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. We don’t need to wait for God to come to us - we need to go to Him. Keep praying that she will accept Jesus Christ as her saviour. I do the same for my friend of 34 years. ❤ God bless you, you have a beautiful heart.
@@jaysonb.6669 well I have talked to her about God for a few years now. She strongly believes in her idols - if I engage beyond that point she gets defensive and thinks I don't respect her religion. It complicated. I truly believe God will change her heart and bring her to Christ.

@@lufhopespeacefully2037 In Isaiah 48:16 and 61:1, the Son is speaking while making reference to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Compare Isaiah 61:1 to Luke 4:14-19 to see that it is the Son speaking.
Matthew 3:16-17 describes the event of Jesus’ baptism. Seen in this passage is God the Holy Spirit descending on God the Son while God the Father proclaims His pleasure in the Son.
Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are other examples of passages that present three distinct Persons in the Trinity.

@@lufhopespeacefully2037sorry no one replied to you. The word trinity didn’t exist until after the apostolic age. As all the bible was written before or during the apostolic age it wasn’t available to be put in the bible. This shows how early the New Testament was written.
But in the bible it does show that Jesus is God, the Father is God and the Holy Spirit is God. They are all the same God in fundamental nature but we can clearly observe them independently and relate to each of them personally.
