What if we don’t receive the email before the end of this year?
I'm not sure what email I used in 2017 when I applied and got my residency card, how can I check if the home office has the relevant email please ? My husband did all the papers for me because my English wasn't that good back then, so we can't remember if we used my email address or my husbands, trouble is my husband has changed his old email address since then, if that is the case how can I check to find out please ?

if your BRP expires you should apply for a visa properly and gets too hard for you. hope this information is helpful for you.

It doesn't really, because this is literally what it says on the UKVI page : If you have a biometric residence permit (BRP) that expires on 31 December 2024, we will tell you how to create a UKVI account and access your eVisa before the expiry date of your BRP. Long story short, I have to wait for their instructions, I can't just create an account whenever I want. Any thoughts?

I have created UKVI account without receiving the email. I also booked an appointment next week to submit relevant documents to the home office
@@yeehawongi4920How did you do that? Does this mean you don't have yet a BRP beforehand and are applying for visa? In my understanding, only those applying for visa can create UKVI accounts at the moment and those with BRPs expiring Dec 31st 2024 will be contacted, and as of May 8 2024, it says in the gov.uk website that you'll be able to create a UKVI account later in 2024.
