- The U of T Occupy for Palestine protesters finally vacated the King's College Circle after being on campus since May 2. A court injunction set for 6 p.m. July 3 was adhered to and the protesters cleared out of the area - before being forced out.
Pro Palestine organizers should be charged with clean up of the mess they are leaving behind! Not the school Not the taxpayers!!!
UofT is suing the organizers for $1.5M for the cleanup as we speak. Free to protest but for the cleanup, you gotta pay.

If they hadn't come out waving their flags on Oct.8th I would sympathize more with their position. They came out in Times Square, Montreal, Philadephia, etc. with signs saying resistance is justified. Harvard students blamed Israel... All this is documented on Oct.8th. Consider a radical israeli group having done what hamas did on Oct.7th, and before the blood dries, would you see crowds waving israeli flags the next day in New York, Philadephia...? of course not, you would be hearing condemnation from everywhere, including the Israeli people. The clearance of the U of T front campus is long overdue. Not one of them would go and defend Palestinians in Gaza nor condemn Hamas for the October 7th attack on Israel.
