Doubtless you've understood this already, but I'm sure the thought process behind asking you to make videos on these games is that the developers have nothing to lose. If the game is good, then you'll recommend it to people. If the game is bad, all publicity is good publicity.
Trust me, I know. Reality is, making these negative reviews on games makes me money, so in a way it's almost a symbiotic relationship. Would I rather play good games I like? Absolutely, but take one look at my channel and see how that goes for me.

Nice seeing a perspective of a new player that has no guidance to the game, the complaints made are valid I would have also quit the game back then if I had no guidance from a few friends on the game, combat felt horrible at first for sure but I mainly stopped playing now due to lack of content and it's just pvp which is still wandering around looking for players to pvp. That is if you even go through the tedious and boring grind to get to the point where you start pvping if you haven't already quit from the first impressions. To add insult to injury there's a rebirth system where you have to rebirth and grind up the same thing another 30 times for max rebirth to even have a fair pvp fight with someone that has grinded them, or else they will end up doing half your HP in like 3 M1s.
tbh rebirth will always be a shitty system. like yaaaayyyyy it's your very boring way to inflate the gameplay where i have to just do the same thing over again, maybe a bit faster :))))))
Never thought I’d see the day DBSA got a video. I joined with my friend and really just grinded it because my friend was there. When I clicked on the video I guessed it was the game, and the crappy UI made me instantly know it was about DBSA. Also, that execution stand up has been there since I started, so basically the very beginning (like 2-3 years)
Now that bandage fix comparison reminded me of something my father told me about my school work. "If you aim for the bare minimum and miss, you're going to fail hard. But if you aim for the top by trying and do end up missing, then you may end up with a decent grade such as a B or C." This game is like if the creators answered half the questions on a test, not doing the other half, and said "Yeah, this is good enough" and called it a day. (made some edits to the original comment because I noticed some grammar issues and also wanted people to get a better idea of what I'm saying)
This game still has the same combat from "Demon slayer unleashed" which is basically the prototype of Buring ashes This video gave me nostalgia because Defunct's games were my first introduction to anime games, their Jojo's game were my favourite, it has the janky fun that old jojo game has this also applied to DS unleashed I remembered map the burning ashes used to be smaller and condensed when it was in the early stages, but now forgot this game exist So i'm plenty surprised when eclipse is playing this
this game has had the exact same combat since its very first version btw, they've had literal years and its still got combat that really fits the first demon slayer game to be rushed out

People actually find holding shift to be difficult? W is a horrible system and it speaks volumes that I've only seen it used on roblox games and nowhere else.
Whenever eclipse makes these kinds of videos, the game would most certainly have no tutorials or any clarification or directions on what to do. I dont know why some of them almost never thought of ever telling the players what to do, its like they dont want them to play.

it's not that we don't want people to play it's that our entire games playerbase is well just well versed to this shit so it's hard to get an outsiders perspective all in one concise area like a youtubers video. rest assured we've actually been working on a tutorial but since we want it to be so concise it has taken a while for us to make it. have a good day man

As someone who knows lua (roblox studios coding language), it is not that hard to assign a move to a keybind while holding out a tool, there is absolutely no need for it to be in ur hotbar it just makes everything so much more complicated.
@@JaiDoesVideos they might've wanted to reduce the number of inputs on keys and assigned them to tools , this is the way i do abilities in my project too its convenient and keeps most of the keys on the keyboard open for other actions other than combat but at least i scripted them so they change back to the weapon upon using an ability, a lot of actions in the project i am working on are bound to combat convenient keys already so good keys to use in combat such as e r t and z x c are bound to other stuff so i'm kinda forced to use tools
@@jojoman6971 you can bind to any key including numbers except misc keys like mouse button 4, so just use that instead as it’s more efficient and clean

Eclipse you REALLY should try out decaying winter. Super fun game that I believe is the true perfection of what Roblox can do. It takes the classic elements of Roblox (with the map even being a scaled up and modified crossroads) with elements you would never expect in a Roblox game (such as pressing 0 to commit not alive), melded together in such a way to have an experience you just can't find anywhere else.
Never played the game, but I do know there is a class called Executioner where you can just higher melee damage to one shot people (if you have like 100+ kills), and yes I do know about the fact the goggles can be broken. Seems unbalanced, but also counterable. Maybe he'll give it a shot?
6:17 I hate systems like this. Back when Chainsaw man Devil's Heart wasn't a trash pile, they had that system too(still does). So annoying. Actually, now that I think about it, Devil's Heart is literally the same game, just with a chainsaw man coat of paint. Both trash games as well
@@BobbinRobbin777not at all, Devil's heart's combat is a slog fest of just mashing m1s and, if you have it, your x key when it's off cool down, you wonder around a massive, empty map to talk to NPCs who tell you to go to the other side of the map to fight boring enemies, no variety in quests, leveling up is slow and boring, and the only insensitive to leveling up is prestiging so you can do the same mindless chore again and again in an even bigger and emptier map. Outside of that the game has unreliable devs and takes yba levels of time between updates(weekly updates my ass, Vibzey), the discord community sucks. Visually it looks decent, but the core gameplay sucks. The only reason I used to, and many others played it, is because it's the only Chainsaw man game that isn't some demo or crappy battlegrounds game.

Yo i started playing tca and the storyline and fighting is already better then yba, when you’re stunned you’re actually stunned, the storyline shows you which quest even after leaving, AND i like the graphics better (The edit was spelling)

no offense was taken, we're a small team of only 3 people so things might look a bit off though we're currently getting brand new anims for everything as well as making a tutorial and addressing alot of other issues anyways have a good one

I also understand that you always want to put your best foot forward when marketing a game so your message was telling a better story than you might believe of your own game and I respect your confidence to do so. The main problem i found in this game is people,when i first spawned there was a loser who spawned camped the entire lobby and made me server hop.Later when i was around lvl 89 or something there was another player WHO FOUR SHOT ME like what the hell and was being so got damn toxic plus the progression on this game is brain dead,if your lucky and there was no retard who was camping spawn and actually start doing the quests given you will get a shit ton of exp and after a while you'll get max lvl.when i got max lvl i was like "finally I'm maxed level" BUT NOPE THERE IS REBIRTH AND WHY YOU ASK NO FUCKING REASON,then i thought to myself "ok atleast i can try being a demon now" then i legit had to look up how to be a demon cause the game didn't explain it properly.then i discovered than in order to be a demon you had to get demon blood from another player and fun fact THE PLAYERS ARE SO FUCKING TOXIC AND I HAD TO HOP THREE TIMES TO GET BLOOD.i could legit continue about how unbalanced the game is and how being a demon sucks but I'm too lazy to continue writing
yeah spawn campers are a persistent issue with the game, we've added safe zones tried a low level protection system and more but it all ends up feeling wacky but we will keep testing to see what works

@@YukiSnow75 the combat is never being reworked, though there will be accessibility updates[such as better keybinds, katana reequip being more optimized] in the future the core combat itself is pretty good. Every single BDA/Breathing is being reworked actually as well as we're making a much better map for the game with room for everything we need to add in i'm currently working on adding in a system that punishes people if they kill people ~2x lower level than they are

we aren't a con artist, it's a misunderstanding with what we said. we told him the update we have planning is something that no other game has tried before and that's cause it is, we're TRYING to cross minecraft survival games with demon slayer which has been taking us a long time but hopefully the end result is something special and not RAU SBR :(
eclipse you should really try demonfall, amongst all of the roblox games themed after demon slayer, the PVP, storyline, gameplay and general things that the game has to offer, are just unmatched throughout it's competition and I just think that this would really stand out for you

As someone who banged this game out to level 475 I can tell you it’s quite boring after reaching max I mean you can bully noobs but you know that’s not cool.
@Eclipse 2:00 not sure if you tested it but usually in games if they have not got a designated sprint key set i normally try double tapping w this usually works it is weird and i don't like it but better than no sprint hope this helps you next time you play a game.
You should do a review of the dark sea in arcane oddysey, the gameplay loop of grinding is way more enjoyable now, and theyve patched a lot of the bugs that came on release of the update
Hey Eclipse, I'm pretty sure you've said that you don't like Deepwoken before; is there any specific reason you don't like the game? I think you'd like it, the combat is quite fun and the progression isnt just beating bandits/bosses untill ur max lvl (like in nearly every single game that you've covered on the channel) and the game actually gets updated every week also if there is a gamebreaking bug, they patch it as fast as they can
First time ived played it I got ganked by higher leveled players and then while riding my boy someone teleported on me and murdered me. The game is alright, the community is a fucking piece of shit

Tbf, Demonfall has its flaws but it’s nowhere near as bad as the game in the video, at least it has good animation, decent combat and slightly better direction. Although it is a very flawed game overall with a ludicrous grind

This looks like how Roblox anime games used to look. The UI looks like it's right out of the old 2016-2017 era Anime games on Roblox when people were first really beginning to make them, It's combat and SFX remind me of the old Grindathon level up games that were popular around 2016-2017 as well. The basic movement looks like it was quite literally ripped from every demon slayer game out there, The raw footage show's very clearly it has no music whatsoever in battle so it doesn't even have good atmosphere, and that's not even mentioning the fact that the very map looks like the bare minimum effort was put into it as well, The demon cave is a good example. plain texture's for all the walls and what looks to be the same area copy pasted 5 times over, and occasionally overly large wooden "paths". In all honesty, this feels and looks like a game right out of late 2017 early 2018, and maybe if it was (somehow) released then it'd be considered good. It has many of the basic parts of a Demon slayer game sure, but lacks any polish and many of the core features that make up what constitutes both a good Demon slayer game, and a good Roblox Anime game, then again, Those are getting rarer and rarer nowadays, hell, the number is going down overtime as many good games just kill themselves with bad updates, and it's not just YBA.
The demon cave part was intentional. the map maker removed some of the detail in cave because they made a new climbing system that wasnt compatible with it.
Imagine how different the player counts would be if bad roblox anime games were on steam and didnt get taken down due to copyright. It would be zeros across the board tbh
if you wanna play a good demon slayer game, either play project slayers or rogue demon, i haven't really played project slayer but ppl say its good plus rogue demon is like one of those battleground games or smth but it has a lot of combo potential, its basically like aut 2021-2022 combat

Honestly, developers who say stuff like, "I poured my heart and soul into this game" are blatantly lying. You expect me to believe that when you have horrible janky animations and leave crap in when you could've fixed it or if you didnt know how. Then learn, if you wanted to create an amazing game with great things. Then you need to be able to adapt and learn new things.

Hey eclipse i have a game reccomendation (when it comes out) it's called head hunters. From the trailers it's looks like a game you may enjoy it's a pvp based game where, well head's are the currency.
I used to play DSBA, a lot, i grinded on multiple alts to max lvl with different breathings, i got the demon slayer mark and see-through world, i don't know why i did it, i guess i was really bored? After a while of grinding with so many breathings and alts i just got tired of it, it's not a good game, it's pretty crappy since there isn't really much indication of what to do at the beggining and you'd have to figure it out by going to youtube, i enjoyed it for a bit and quickly got tired. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, you're better off playing Demonfall but i have personal beef with that game, so Rogue Demon is probably a little bit better? That's just personal opinion because you don't grind there and it's just a fighting game.

The helpful villager is NOT helpful at all from what i can see and hear there is no tutorial at the start of the game aswell so when you spawn in you have no idea what to do and if you go to the helpful villager he will not even give you any good info, like what is "the final selection" how do i level up how do i get a sword and breathing? It explains none of this and if it does its terrible info 2. If you really put your heart and soul in the game then why couldn't you make a better farming system? From what i can see it looks bland and dry as hell, just basically like Demonfall except instead of a kaigaku killing simulator its a random demon killing simulator 3. No map system. How are people supposed to tell where they need to go with no tutorial and no general help? 4. Bland PVP and PVE, In PVP people get instantly one shotted, and PVE is just rumination. 5. No double tap W sprint, its stupidly annoying and no one likes it

IMO the only 'truly' good roblox anime games come down to peroxide (Despite having no kind of beginner guide unless you search it up) and maybe project slayers. (And maybe jujutsu infinite, i've bought early access and so far the devs are trying their best to cater to all kinds of players) my opinion is primarily because these games don't seperate pve and pvp. You can use the same builds for pvp with pve, and it allows any kind of player to play with their playstyle instead of being forced to switch things up. GPO suffers from this problem insanely, each update which is once every 6 months only includes 1-2 fruits, either only pvp or pve based, which makes a seperation on which kinds of players can enjoy it, and therefore the update/game dying faster. this is one of the core issues in many roblox anime games, most devs decide to make their game either pvp only or pve only, only letting a portion of players enjoy it. imo peroxide is still alive because it tackles the problem easily, near perfectly. It's not like GPO, where it's essentially "You want to use this fruit or use a specific playstyle, but you only like PVE? too bad fuckface, it does fuck-all damage and is only for pvp", whatever you want to do is viable for both. not mentioning yba, since it's mainly pvp focused even "pve" players can enjoy simply by skin grinding

Trust me, it gets worse. There is a silly thing called moon breathing. How you get it? You need to find a flute that has a rare chance of spawning during night in a location which is bannable to leak, so your looking for a mystery object that spawns every hour somewhere for 15 mins. Side note: dont know how much they changed about this, I quitted this game a long time ago.

As someone who knows lua (roblox studios coding language), it is not that hard to assign a move to a keybind while holding out a tool, there is absolutely no need for it to be in ur hotbar it just makes everything so much more complicated.

@@JaiDoesVideos they might've wanted to reduce the number of inputs on keys and assigned them to tools , this is the way i do abilities in my project too its convenient and keeps most of the keys on the keyboard open for other actions other than combat but at least i scripted them so they change back to the weapon upon using an ability,
a lot of actions in the project i am working on are bound to combat convenient keys already so good keys to use in combat such as e r t and z x c are bound to other stuff so i'm kinda forced to use tools

Eclipse you REALLY should try out decaying winter. Super fun game that I believe is the true perfection of what Roblox can do. It takes the classic elements of Roblox (with the map even being a scaled up and modified crossroads) with elements you would never expect in a Roblox game (such as pressing 0 to commit not alive), melded together in such a way to have an experience you just can't find anywhere else.
Never played the game, but I do know there is a class called Executioner where you can just higher melee damage to one shot people (if you have like 100+ kills), and yes I do know about the fact the goggles can be broken.
Seems unbalanced, but also counterable. Maybe he'll give it a shot?

@@BobbinRobbin777not at all, Devil's heart's combat is a slog fest of just mashing m1s and, if you have it, your x key when it's off cool down, you wonder around a massive, empty map to talk to NPCs who tell you to go to the other side of the map to fight boring enemies, no variety in quests, leveling up is slow and boring, and the only insensitive to leveling up is prestiging so you can do the same mindless chore again and again in an even bigger and emptier map. Outside of that the game has unreliable devs and takes yba levels of time between updates(weekly updates my ass, Vibzey), the discord community sucks. Visually it looks decent, but the core gameplay sucks. The only reason I used to, and many others played it, is because it's the only Chainsaw man game that isn't some demo or crappy battlegrounds game.

The main problem i found in this game is people,when i first spawned there was a loser who spawned camped the entire lobby and made me server hop.Later when i was around lvl 89 or something there was another player WHO FOUR SHOT ME like what the hell and was being so got damn toxic plus the progression on this game is brain dead,if your lucky and there was no retard who was camping spawn and actually start doing the quests given you will get a shit ton of exp and after a while you'll get max lvl.when i got max lvl i was like "finally I'm maxed level" BUT NOPE THERE IS REBIRTH AND WHY YOU ASK NO FUCKING REASON,then i thought to myself "ok atleast i can try being a demon now" then i legit had to look up how to be a demon cause the game didn't explain it properly.then i discovered than in order to be a demon you had to get demon blood from another player and fun fact THE PLAYERS ARE SO FUCKING TOXIC AND I HAD TO HOP THREE TIMES TO GET BLOOD.i could legit continue about how unbalanced the game is and how being a demon sucks but I'm too lazy to continue writing
yeah spawn campers are a persistent issue with the game, we've added safe zones tried a low level protection system and more but it all ends up feeling wacky but we will keep testing to see what works

Every single BDA/Breathing is being reworked actually as well as we're making a much better map for the game with room for everything we need to add in i'm currently working on adding in a system that punishes people if they kill people ~2x lower level than they are

I think you'd like it, the combat is quite fun and the progression isnt just beating bandits/bosses untill ur max lvl (like in nearly every single game that you've covered on the channel) and the game actually gets updated every week also if there is a gamebreaking bug, they patch it as fast as they can

This looks like how Roblox anime games used to look. The UI looks like it's right out of the old 2016-2017 era Anime games on Roblox when people were first really beginning to make them, It's combat and SFX remind me of the old Grindathon level up games that were popular around 2016-2017 as well. The basic movement looks like it was quite literally ripped from every demon slayer game out there, The raw footage show's very clearly it has no music whatsoever in battle so it doesn't even have good atmosphere, and that's not even mentioning the fact that the very map looks like the bare minimum effort was put into it as well, The demon cave is a good example. plain texture's for all the walls and what looks to be the same area copy pasted 5 times over, and occasionally overly large wooden "paths".
In all honesty, this feels and looks like a game right out of late 2017 early 2018, and maybe if it was (somehow) released then it'd be considered good. It has many of the basic parts of a Demon slayer game sure, but lacks any polish and many of the core features that make up what constitutes both a good Demon slayer game, and a good Roblox Anime game, then again, Those are getting rarer and rarer nowadays, hell, the number is going down overtime as many good games just kill themselves with bad updates, and it's not just YBA.
The demon cave part was intentional. the map maker removed some of the detail in cave because they made a new climbing system that wasnt compatible with it.
And yes, it was released then lmfao

I used to play DSBA, a lot, i grinded on multiple alts to max lvl with different breathings, i got the demon slayer mark and see-through world, i don't know why i did it, i guess i was really bored? After a while of grinding with so many breathings and alts i just got tired of it, it's not a good game, it's pretty crappy since there isn't really much indication of what to do at the beggining and you'd have to figure it out by going to youtube, i enjoyed it for a bit and quickly got tired. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, you're better off playing Demonfall but i have personal beef with that game, so Rogue Demon is probably a little bit better? That's just personal opinion because you don't grind there and it's just a fighting game.

god i loved old demon slayer burning ashes it was peak, i remember u could get breathing as a demon (although it would only let u breath and didnt give any buffs) still i leveled up my breathing as a demon and it was fun.... until they reset my progress and change the game entirely.

1. The helpful villager is NOT helpful at all from what i can see and hear there is no tutorial at the start of the game aswell so when you spawn in you have no idea what to do and if you go to the helpful villager he will not even give you any good info, like what is "the final selection" how do i level up how do i get a sword and breathing? It explains none of this and if it does its terrible info
2. If you really put your heart and soul in the game then why couldn't you make a better farming system? From what i can see it looks bland and dry as hell, just basically like Demonfall except instead of a kaigaku killing simulator its a random demon killing simulator
3. No map system. How are people supposed to tell where they need to go with no tutorial and no general help?
4. Bland PVP and PVE, In PVP people get instantly one shotted, and PVE is just rumination.
5. No double tap W sprint, its stupidly annoying and no one likes it
I’ve played DBSA since the beginning, and the game was pretty fun for me but way too grindy now, I didn’t bother to play after getting full moon breath since rebirths were annoying.

IMO the only 'truly' good roblox anime games come down to peroxide (Despite having no kind of beginner guide unless you search it up) and maybe project slayers. (And maybe jujutsu infinite, i've bought early access and so far the devs are trying their best to cater to all kinds of players)
my opinion is primarily because these games don't seperate pve and pvp. You can use the same builds for pvp with pve, and it allows any kind of player to play with their playstyle instead of being forced to switch things up. GPO suffers from this problem insanely, each update which is once every 6 months only includes 1-2 fruits, either only pvp or pve based, which makes a seperation on which kinds of players can enjoy it, and therefore the update/game dying faster.
this is one of the core issues in many roblox anime games, most devs decide to make their game either pvp only or pve only, only letting a portion of players enjoy it.
imo peroxide is still alive because it tackles the problem easily, near perfectly. It's not like GPO, where it's essentially "You want to use this fruit or use a specific playstyle, but you only like PVE? too bad fuckface, it does fuck-all damage and is only for pvp", whatever you want to do is viable for both.
not mentioning yba, since it's mainly pvp focused even "pve" players can enjoy simply by skin grinding

it sucks how people do some DS games that aren't project slayers (and a couple others), it feels like games with potential that are just thrown out for money but honestly I don't think this one even fits in that category

Trust me, it gets worse. There is a silly thing called moon breathing. How you get it? You need to find a flute that has a rare chance of spawning during night in a location which is bannable to leak, so your looking for a mystery object that spawns every hour somewhere for 15 mins.
Side note: dont know how much they changed about this, I quitted this game a long time ago.
