My hunch is that it's custom built to match the car interface. Netflix used to have different looking versions depending on the device it was on. Like the Xbox 360.
That UI looks awesome, it feels connected like the NXE 360 dashboard. If they downscaled that to the next gen console or Series X I would be on board, hate that the Series X dashboard is just the Xbox One dashboard full of ads, it still uses the 2015 Windows 10 icons for many of it's settings instead of the new Windows 11 icons.
@@markus19999 the Xbox One dashboard is a mess, it's not consistent you turn on the Xbox Series X and see a bunch of Xbox One icons, same for the One but you see Series X console icons there. The only thing that looks good is the Store app. Hate when I go to the avatar app and looks like it got stuck in 2017.
Blades were garbage. I'd rather have an experience closer to NXE if they were going that route, which I highly doubt. This looks catered for electric cars
Definitely seems that Xbox and Rimmac worked together on the dashboard, making sure it fits the screen, not sure what the final outcome will be, it's quite cool none the less.
So long as the CPU and Ram pool is the same, no trying to save a buck, then it should be okay between handheld and console. The varying GPU isn't a problem after all.
It'll probably be both a handheld and a console with a Docking Station. People are speculating that when detached, the handheld will play games at native 1080p, but when docked, it will be 4K. Again, speculation.
This honestly looks mainly catered towards electric cars and not a console dashboard update. Though I don't see why not use the current dash experience because whether console or PC it can support touch screen. The rest is obvious accessory controls and such.
Guessing it’s just a mock concept for partner. Xbox always leaning towards a unified UI across platforms. This seems quite drastic of a change, that would lose familiarity. Any Xbox handheld will have existing UI of preexisting handhelds. As having too many variants would cause headaches in bug fixes.
If this IS the UI for the handheld. It looks fine to me. Not sure if this is cloud screens. I don’t use the cloud stuff now. I’m full pc now. I would probably buy one depending on price. Sell my deck( I never use) and Alienware Lappy I mistakenly bought🤦♂️
Brad why you state the xbox handheld is anticipated? Who needs it? With 600 dollars/ euros you can have the asus rg ally extreme handheld device. You can access what you can access with a pc. So why you need a series s handheld device it will cost more than 400 dollars/ euros?
Carwow had it own video on the same car with more interface When the guy said he preferred PlayStation, They said he would have to wait To me it's the Xbox cloud interface
What’s The sweetspot price for The Xbox Series "H" = Handheld? It must be cheap. Can't be more than PlayStation Portal. So somewhare between $149 - $199. The commercial for The device could be Call Of Duty on Xbox Series H and PlayStation Portal side by side.
Ugh, all of this just screams tech-bro-grifters looking for investors to me. If the Xbox part is a mock up video its pretty easy to move a mouse cursor over it while its playing. A big nothing burger imo.
It looks more like a concept dasboard, nothing to get excited about. Never get your hopes up, the fall will be greater and the misinformation will continue.
I agree. This looks much better than the PS dashboard. The XBOX dashboard has always worked much better than the PS dashboard, but didn't look quite as polished. This would give them the visual polish and hopefully it retains the better usability that it's always had.
@@phbranding8530 Xbox dashboard has some very disappointing issues that seems to be simple to solve….one of these that i hate the most is the lack of HDR support….it might sound that im just being too much picky…but when you run a game that has hdr support and you minimize it to go do other stuff at the dashboard you have to deal with a quick black screen right on you face EVERY SINGLE TIME….I can’t believe that until today xbox dash still lacking hdr support
My hunch is that it's custom built to match the car interface. Netflix used to have different looking versions depending on the device it was on. Like the Xbox 360.
I think that would give even more credence to this also being a new responsive design that might also work for a mobile device.

The icons are pain to look at. There's the new one for the settings but when you open it up it splashes the old one. It's a mess!

I think it's possibly also an interface for the Xbox/Amazon Fire partnership 🤔
Xbox Series EV.
just give us the blades dash cowards
I prefer the late 2008 dashboard.
Blades were garbage. I'd rather have an experience closer to NXE if they were going that route, which I highly doubt. This looks catered for electric cars
Or NXE
Blades is phenomenal but hard to implement into the modern day unfortunately
blades is so 00's lol, maybe as an option would be cool
The Finals is an awesome game that is free to play and also on Xbox!
Brad, maybe these are all free to play games? Halo Infinite multiplayer is F2P.
Lol stupid putting it in cars you seen what people did with the apple headset lol
When I connect my android to my car it does have a game app on it that I can play a variety of games, when parked. This seems like the same concept.
We got xbox in cars before gta6
Definitely seems that Xbox and Rimmac worked together on the dashboard, making sure it fits the screen, not sure what the final outcome will be, it's quite cool none the less.
Makes sense especially with the Amazon Xbox announcement.
Yes it is. All I’m saying is Xbox better have more then a handheld next gen lol I want a handheld but I also want a next gen console too

The Finals is a free to play on all consoles. So yea its on xbox as well. I know you said you werent sure uf thats on xbox in the video. 👍🏾
Rimmac cars in Forza Horizon 4 and 5 is probably the most insane and fun cars you can drive in Forza Horizon.
The Finals is on Xbox.
This actually looks dope, but let's see when it comes. I kinda trust Xbox with this stuff for now, let's see. Thanks for the info!

Breaking News, Xbox Game Pass now confirmed for Amazon Fire Stick users.
That looks crazy. Xbox, make it happen
I do like the sliding cards. Jukebox vibes
Looks like the Xbox Windows App but wide screen.
Def not that
That kind of looks similar to the blades in the Xbox 360.
CEO confirmed Xbox Cloud gaming on the Carwow preview.
Oozing with news today Brad 🔥🔥🔥
Imagine being a Pony right now
😮😮😮
Also the finals also known as the game on the left is absolutely on xbox
Brad why you state the xbox handheld is anticipated?
Who needs it?

I still want to know when the new controller is coming for the new console
Why are rounded boarders the latest UI trend? It just makes everything overly simple. I nearly had a heart attack from Netflix's UI update
They need a new interface it’s messy currently and is left over from 2013
I bet these are just place holder or design concepts for PR.
The FInals is a F2P game on the console now.
Just bring back the metro ui in some form
Another dashboard update smh. Been 10 years and still haven't figured it out
looks pretty nice
or the other option is you are over thinking and it's just a simple ass car version interface.
Time for Micro$oft to seek out a manufacturing partner and have their own all electric XBox car! Only ? is what would they name it..... 😁😁😁😁😁
The game "THE FINALS" is a Steam game. Could this future UI also be the starting of the integration of Steam and other stores into Xbox?
It's on Xbox, too, not just Steam.
It’s on Xbox too lol
Carwow had it own video on the same car with more interface
When the guy said he preferred PlayStation, They said he would have to wait
To me it's the Xbox cloud interface
PlayStation will make only one big game per year. Don't deserve my money.
Yeah for real. The Xbox dashboard is so bad. The moment you scroll down it's a GamePass mess LOL
What’s The sweetspot price for The Xbox Series "H" = Handheld? It must be cheap. Can't be more than PlayStation Portal. So somewhare between $149 - $199. The commercial for The device could be Call Of Duty on Xbox Series H and PlayStation Portal side by side.
Series Tesla.
Ugh, all of this just screams tech-bro-grifters looking for investors to me. If the Xbox part is a mock up video its pretty easy to move a mouse cursor over it while its playing. A big nothing burger imo.
It’s just another shitty dash that’s gonna make the system even more frustrating
It’s been 11 years I don’t care anymore
Carwow video
Going to be funny as f*** to see all these cars in the junkyard the next 5 to 10 years
why would it be funny?
Bro there are currently electric cars a decade old on the road doing just fine.
lol unbelievable
It looks more like a concept dasboard, nothing to get excited about. Never get your hopes up, the fall will be greater and the misinformation will continue.
in my opinion the ps5 dashboard is way better in all aspects including visuals and performance
I agree. This looks much better than the PS dashboard. The XBOX dashboard has always worked much better than the PS dashboard, but didn't look quite as polished. This would give them the visual polish and hopefully it retains the better usability that it's always had.

Xbox=3rd party
It would be cool huh? But it seems like it could present more distractions for drivers.
