Honestly I cried when Josh betrayed all of us and released Carr. Carr apart from Bo Jackson will always be my favorite Raider. When Gru left Carr became the glue to the whole team. Fairweather fans talk shit on Carr but they don't take into account how many times Carr had to adapt to different coaches within his time in the Raiders, and not to mention change of strategy and personnel and playbook. Fairweather fans can suck it. Carr did a phenomenal job considering all the factors.

The only saving grace Josh McDaniels has to his name is he finally spared the Raiders by running the Jalopy out of town. Shame we didnt leave his sorry ass on the road when we were moving from Oakland where he belonged.
I will say it was the most satisfying thing last season. Watching Carr do exactly the same thing to the Saints. Not that I wish the Saints any ill will. Only that it was vindicating to see all the things Carrpologists made excuses for be present in NOLA and he STILL failed on cue. Dont expect this season to be any different.
Carr, Along with Lamar is proof why Wonderlic should have never been abandoned as its absolutely an important metric. Carr has proven that 10 years running and he is definitely now on the downhill slide of his career.

Simple fact is that if a team wins it is ALWAYS in SPITE of Carr... NOT because of him. The sooner you come to terms with that reality, the easier it will be for you.

With the team the Raiders have now, they could probably be in the super bowl at the end of the season with Carr throwing the ball. Unfortunately that could never happen, because if they had Carr still, he'd eat up so much cap space that we couldn't have the great team players we now have.

You don't have to be a great QB to be successful. I'm a huge fan of Derek Carr; he was a solid leader for us and was screwed over by Mark Davis who should NEVER have hired Josh McDOUGHNUT.
