Yes!!!! I completely agree! I'm a fan of the headless with the horse but not the cheesy plastic ones, but the nutcracker idea just blew me away! She did an amazing job!!!!

The nutcracker! I'm having a "why on earth didn't I think of THAT" moment! I used to paint nutcrackers, so this is right up my alley! I went out and bought a large unpainted one today just to do this project. Thanks for sharing.

I used a battery tea light and air dry clay to make the pumpkin so it lights up. Looks great 😊

Great idea - a headless horseman nutcracker. An alternative would also be to use a plain/unpainted/undecorated nutcracker. I think Hobby Lobby has some out already (yeah, I know - it's only August!) 😄😄
