I used to work at Children's of Alabama and you definitely remind me of all of the child life specialist there but I completely understand the need to change! I worked my butt off to become a nurse but now I am a flight attendant because nursing was DRAINING my mental health! Im praying that you continue to do whatever you feel is right for you!
I dropped nursing and am now doing Earth Science Education! It’s never too late to change your mind and it’s important to do what makes your heart happy!
Hey Lauren! I'm a graduate student that's been watching your channel for a while. Your optimism, and bubbly nature always motivates me (and I love that our favorite color is pink). In life things change but that's the sign of things to come. You made your choice, and it is valid. Changes are always good, and it just means you're getting on course to where you need to be. Wishing you the best ! 🥰💞💞✨✨✨
Girl don’t be embarrassed about changing your major! I changed mine back and forth several times and I even took a 5 year break from college. Stumbling upon your channel last summer (it was your moving into the Pi Phi house video) helped inspire me to go back to school! It made me less self conscious to go back at the age of 25, since you yourself didn’t start right after high school. Keep on following your passion and don’t focus on the major! Seeing your content makes my day brighter😊
I understand that feeling of almost being embarrassed to change majors or change your mind after originally thinking you’re so sure you want to do it and talking about it. I know everybody’s telling you it’s totally normal, and it is - but also know that you approached this decision very logically - you have very very good reasons, it’s not like you just woke up one day and you were like ::flip your hair:: I think I just wanna do something else instead for no reason. You have approached this very rationally and logically and to me it shows how good of a head you have on your shoulders and you’re very smart about this so I wish you all the best and you’re gonna go far girl💖
Lauren I totally feel you! My major was psych and family development, with the intention of going into child life. I did a practicum, applied to FIFTEEN practicums and only heard back from two which one was the one I got. Took certs and classes online to help me with pre reqs. I ended up dropping the idea of becoming a CCLS, because it’s FAR too competitive for not the best pay. It’s now been 7 years or so since I dropped the idea and I’m working in the hospital as a psych counselor (working with kiddos who have mental illness/suicidal) and love it. But so much of what you said during this video I FEEL you….. exact same reason I dropped it too. Just know things will work out :)
I appreciate the realness of this video with your major change. School is always a hard subject to discuss with anyone because everyone is always going to have their opinion of what you should do. I have so much respect for how you stepped down for someone else to take your position and it says so much about your character. You go girl!
A lot of people don’t end up working in the field they major in. You just don’t falling into something else, or they just don’t like it. It’s ok to change and go in a different direction. Who knows what you’ll be doing 5 years from now. Life is an adventure! Enjoy the ride 🥰
Many college graduates don't fully use their degree! But college is about learning and growing, and not just with academics! I don't use my full degree, but I can honestly say college molded me into a well rounded individual, and that's what really matters! And always remember, everything happens for a reason! There's a reason you were meant to change your major!! Love your videos girl, keep them coming!
I got two degrees in music, decided it wasn't going to work for me and now I work in finance. I got a lot of judgement and unwanted feedback and I hope people are being kinder to you! It's totally ok to pivot and change up your life at any time and I'm proud of you for just going for it!
Omg! I had no idea that so much went into being a child life specialist. The one that worked with us at our hospital was so so sweet and amazing with our son and I’m so grateful. It makes me upset that people don’t take that seriously. Also the internship process and all that sounds SO SO STRESSFUL. NOPE. I don’t blame you for switching. I too changed my major ( from psych to mass comm) and I don’t regret it. I’m so proud of you for changing and so proud of you for being so open and honest with us. Love you.
I loved hearing your story and I really relate to the decline of physical/mental health from school. I was in a grad program for athletic training, and realized it was not worth the struggle anymore when I started questioning if it was even what I wanted to do anymore. I quit, moved back to the city that I love, and now I'm going to be starting work as a personal trainer instead. I wish you luck in your new major/minor. I know how hard it is to quit something that you put so much work into.
10 years ago, my cousin was a child life specialist at one of the best childrens hospitals in the country for a few years post-grad. Although she had a psychology major/child life concentration (switched to that from literally musical theatre), she no longer works there and I have so many friends who are in it and their majors are not related to the field. So even if you wanted to do that one day you could; the door isn’t closed forever because of this one experience at UA. We live in a world where your major honestly matters maybe 50% of what it used to- the broader the major, the more you can do. Creative media minor is perfect for you, and the right job will fall into place ❤️
I am also someone who has changed majors (3 times almost 4 times) and i have actually found it has given me opportunities to experience that the other majors wouldn’t have given me so it is something to look forwards to
I struggled with my mental health so badly in my second year of uni and I was in this sort of spiral where I knew I needed a degree to be teacher, which is my dream, but I also knew I was falling apart trying to get it. Making a change that you know needs to be made can be so hard, especially when you've put in so much work already. I think it's so amazing that you changed your major and I really hope things get better 💖💖
Don't feel bad or nervous about telling people that you're changing your major darling. It's your life and it sounds like a very thought out and logical decision. and if you choose to continue with RUclips and do this full time, well I definitely won't be complaining haha I love your videos! coffee, couch and Lauren 😄. I think you want a job that helps people and makes a difference in this world and I think that that is so admirable. Just so you know, your videos do that, you reach people all over the world and make us smile and laugh. You make me want to get up, get out of my PJs and put some makeup on and go out and be in the world. You're a good person and I hope that you follow your heart in what ever direction it takes you. 💖💖💖
Don’t feel embarrassed! I’m 32 and when I was in college I changed my major so many times. At 32 I’m about to go back to school for sonography in the winter after being a dental assistant for 6 yrs.
Lauren, I'm your age, a 6th year in undergrad and I changed my major! Thank you for posting about this! It's okay and I always find it hard to remember that I am on my own timeline and it may be different from everyone else's. I am different for graduating later at an older age and that is okay! It's so so hard to remember when everyone graduates early/on time and seemingly has the perfect college experience.
This was a really nice video to watch. I am a senior in college and graduating this spring but I am struggling in one of my classes that I need to graduate. I am so stressed and it’s always comforting to see that I’m not the only one stressed
I am a dietitian and it’s the same. We had to PAY to go to a full time internship. Plus it’s super competitive to get into. It’s crazy and really unfair because if you don’t have money to support you during the internship you cannot be a dietitian….thank you for sharing
GIRL I'm in graduate school right now and I feel everything you just said! My current program requires both Practicum and Internship, which are both unpaid and I had to find my site myself. Which isn't bad but also doesn't set you up for success. thankfully I found a site, but so many people didn't. and once I was in it, there was so much work that I burned myself out within the first two weeks of the semester. I decided to change my program with one year left in graduate school and I am sooooo happy. Change can be weird but it is never too late to change your mind. Thank you for sharing!!
I changed my major around sophomore year from psychology to social work. I think that it is awesome that you were brave enough to do what you knew was best after putting so much time and energy into your previous degree!
For social work, it actually doesn't matter what major you go into social work school with, no matter if it's psych (very common) or even engineering. What does matter is that you have your license to practice and have good people skills.
I worked at Starbucks in college and the stickers are necessary so we know what drink we’re making. Also for the person on drive thru so they hand out the correct drink to the customer 😊
Uncertainty is a normal part of life and it makes you human. When you sit and open up it shows us how real and normal you are do not think that anything is wrong with making changes in your life
I had a similar situation to you. I had to change my major from Middle Grades Education to English for my bachelors. Ended up getting my masters in education right after I graduated. Best part is that my "student teaching" turned into a paid internship in my own classroom. Everything will work out in the end!
As someone with a degree an almost a masters, what you said about how you literally almost graduated with this degree that had a whole bunch of fine print that wasn’t disclosed until it was almost too late is the exact reason why people say college is a scam. That is unacceptable that they wouldn’t let you all know how things worked with the program from day 1. But it’s ok!! You were protected and you’ll be just fine! Proud of you Lauren💕💕
I changed my majors/minors halfway through my undergrad too. I just wasn’t enjoying what I was doing, and I was so much happier after making the switch, even if it was a major headache (and required me to play catch-up my last two years to make sure I graduated on time!), so I get you!! There’s nothing wrong with changing your mind and your focus-we’re all just trying to find our path ☺️💖
It’s so hard to pick a major and then as you work towards it, realize what it entails. I’m so glad you found out and can switch and still graduate. ❤️💖
You are doing the right thing girl! You always follow your heart and your gut and I think you are so smart for putting your health and wellness first. A degree is a HUGE accomplishment no matter what it's in. Love you brave girl!
Yay you posted a new video!!! You inspire me so much. I am in middle school and there as been a lot of changes with my teachers and classes. And also with friends. I was in a very toxic friend group and because of you I didn’t what to hang out with them any more. I remember you said to always be yourself in one of your videos and when I was with those people I wasn’t myself. Now I am in a better friend group that treats me better. Thank you for that. Anyways change is good and you have all the right to change your major and don’t be scared of change it will be great. I love your videos they make me feel so happy and I hope you have a great rest of your day and a great weekend😆
When so was in college, I wanted to become a child play therapist. I had to have a psychology BA. I was in my third year and they told me the same thing about the limited availability of spaces for the next step. I ran to my advisor after class and said I needed to find something else. She pointed me to education. I ran to the education department and they told me they couldn’t talk to me until I changed my major. My psychology advisor and I awkwardly changed my major and she signed me up for classes. Now I teach English and am doing my MA in Education with a focus in Bibliotherapy in schools. Stressful but worth it.
I was in the same boat. I started college as a Biology and Anthropology double major. Unfortunately, the college only had so many open spots for each course even through most of the school was STEM majors. I found it mentally draining to have to wait months to see if I was able to get a spot in the course. Along the way, I found that I wanted to focus more on Anthropology and Healthcare. So after 6 years of undergraduate courses, I switched to being an Anthropology and Health double major. This allowed me to go to graduate school to receive my Master in Public Health (MPH) degree. In the beginning, it feels like the world is ending because we have spent so much time and energy working towards a certain degree. It's okay to feel scared or uncertain on how our futures are going to look. I don't regret my decisions and I am more confident now than I was before my major change on how successful I will be in the future during medical school.
That sounds frustrating that the advisors and the requirements for the major were really not flexible! It sounds perfect that you were able to make the change though and now also minor in what you enjoy too!
Think it’s very normal for people’s responsibilities to change. It becomes hard as an upper class man to still engage with everything at the same level when you’re applying to jobs/grad school/studying for the MCAT. It’s part of growth
Changing your major is such a big and scary change but if you know that you no longer like it you have to follow your heart. Also the clothes you got from threadup is sooo pretty! I love that yellow dress! 💜
I love that you mentioned not wanting to take someone’s spot that’s life mission is to be in that career. So self-less. What’s interesting is the risk of going through with the major, unpaid internship, and student tuition is a huge risk and so is starting a RUclips channel but you love RUclips and content creation which is why you took that risk and look where you are now. Lesson is always take risks but for what you are passionate about. I think this is the right move and also you would go to a car wash with pink soap lol
Hey Lauren! I love this video! I recently struggled with my own mental health and family issues/marital issues while in nursing school. I found myself not being as passionate about nursing as I was in the beginning. I took a step away from nursing school because I knew it wasn’t fair to myself, my instructors, classmates or others who were dying to be nurses. I was confused on what to do but I feel so at peace with everything. Not really sure what I want to change my major to but I’ve always loved education and children. But thank you for the encouragement of knowing that change is okay!
Please remember that sorority membership is for life! The alumna experience is wonderful. More of the fun and less of the work. 😄 Once you are settled after graduation, look into an alum chapter.
Thank you for sharing this with us! Changing your major is so hard, but you have to do what is best for you! I changed my major from nursing to business and it was the best decision I made!
My Dad used to tell me that my car runs better when it's clean. 😜 He passed away 6 years ago now and I always think of that when I clean out my car. ❤️
I did the exact same thing Lauren. I went through the the same stuff. Except I actually went as far as completing the practicum before I figured it out. You are a step ahead and be glad you didn’t go any further. Also, same girl. The whole internship process for Child Life is insane. I was like this is NOT it. My mental health was declining. Also, not to mention IF you are lucky enough to even land an internship you will 100% be relocating which is $ because it most like will be a random city where you don’t have family/ friends. Also I remember having to do Hospital visits for child life. They are usually called child life 101. Basically you learn everything you need to know about the internship process and meet with the child life specialist. Needless to say I left their feeling even more defeated knowing my odds
Good for you for pivoting! The most important thing is pursuing what you love and are good at! You really don't need college. Unless you are a doctor or engineer or something, college is showing you can jump through hoops, pay a lot of money and have a "degree" at the end to prove it. The cost is ridiculous and this whole unpaid internship requirement is BS. We never had that requirement when I was in college back in the day. I've heard of a lot of college kids working for free.
I changed majors my second quarter of freshman year. I’d been in engineering, which, at the time, had very few women. It was way too competitive for comfort. I went into clinical lab science and loved it, worked in a microbiology lab in a hospital for my entire career. ☺️❤️❤️
Thank you for this!!! I am a senior in high school and planning on majoring in Human Development and Family Science in Child Life on the path to be a child life specialist but have been unsure lately if I truly wanted to do that. You shared really great things to help me decide if I really want to pursue that as a career.
It's totally normal to change majors. I was a Business major, Human Services, Law, Student Affairs in Higher Ed, Ministry, and NOW am wanting my MS in Genetics Counseling so I totally get it!! I'm so indecisive.
Don't be embarrassed. I have an Associate of Arts degree that I changed from Graphic Design to a Liberal Arts degree with it. Then when I was grandfathered into my University of choice I was a Junior/Senior level and I thought I wanted to get my Bachelor of Arts degree in Video Production, but that didn't work out and I didn't like it as much as I thought. So I changed it to History and I was much happier since it's a subject I actually loved to learn about and I could get just about any job with that honestly. College is the time for you to change things and try things out because you really don't know if you will LOVE something from those summaries they give you in the catalogs of what the majors are until you try it and realize it wasn't what you wanted or thought it would be. :) I hope you enjoy your new major and you enjoy learning new things in your minor! You're doing just fine girl, keep at it and you can always take away from this that you gained more knowledge and that's NEVER a bad thing!
Your story about your draining mental health really hit home for me. I’m currently in my second semester of nursing school and the work load is SO heavy, I’m catching more L’s than W’s 🤣 my upper class men tell me it gets better after this semester so I’m trying to just hold on until then, but yeah I relate to your story so much - I can’t wait to be able to find myself again and be able to breathe! … after I pass these finals Ofc LOL
I was on track to be a child life specialist too and I relate so hard to what you’re saying. It was so much on me and my empathy and I don’t think it’s what the Lord had for me. Loved it but it wasn’t for me
I am so thankful you were so respectful to the others who wanted to be a child life specialist! My undergrad was in psychology and I tried twice to get an internship and couldn’t because others were more competitive with a specialized degree. I ended up getting my Masters in ABA, but it truly IS so difficult to get an internship and so competitive, and it’s so great you followed your heart and allowed others to have a better chance! Proud of you for making that tough decision!
Omg I literally feel that. My dad always thinks my major (which is Psychology) isn’t good enough because I’m not in the Med field. Then last semester (my sophomore year of college) I was told that I need to do like 5 more years of school after I graduate college to even become a psychologist when that’s not what they told me before. It’s so frustrating!! I’m so sorry you went through all of that. I’m so happy you put yourself first and found yourself. You literally had to do SO much and your stress and feelings were extremely valid. So proud of you.
With my friends I’ve seen that sororities become more of a job than a social outlet after freshman year. They don’t always respect that you have other commitments like a job and that your sorority can’t be priority one.
i see what you mean about "growing out" of your sorority. i mean it could just be you since you are older than an average college student (which is not a bad thing) and since you are busy with pagents, traveling, and other things, it's not a major priority in your life anymore. I feel like thats a thing for a lot of upperclassmen in sororities since they end up getting too busy with internships, work, and other things. i'm in a non-panhellenic soroity and even though i'm a junior and joined this past august, i still understand your feeling of feeling like you're growing out of it. i also feel you about changing your major. i have no direction at all about what i want to do and right now i'm just sticking with history education because i like history and i want to be someone positive and supportive for adolescent aged kids (middle-high school kids) however, i am pretty unsure if i actually want to teach, but i'm like too far in too change my major without being in college for like 6+ years total. so i'm just sticking with it and hoping i acutally like it when i start student teaching
Hi Lauren ! I'm so sad that you went through all of that work to finally be stuck at the end of your junior year. But God knows what He's doing girl 🥰 none of the minutes you spent at the university and the hospital are wasted. And what's coming must be marvelous, you know why ? Because it's God's plan for you. You go girl ! You were, are and will be showered with blessings ❤️
Lauren, I thought I was going to be a nurse .. however a blessing came out of nursing school .. my husband! I dropped out of nursing and I became a social worker!! So it is okay to drop your major! I love you and fully support your decision! You do what you want to do!
Child life is SO hard. I changed mine to child dev and now I work at a mental health place and I love it. No one truly understands how difficult child life is until youre really in it and understand everything to do.
w/human dev you can work at mental health places, non profits, housing places-like domestic shelters, etc. but with my job I work with kids that have mental health problems-anxiety, depression, defiant disorder, adhd and I go visit them at school and call their parents. Its a great job and I love my kids
I changed my major first semester of senior year and luckily was able to graduate a semester early too. I was also a child life minor for a good 6 weeks and then learned all the info and said yeah no thank you im dropping it.
lauren i’m so proud of you for just taking that bold step in changing your major. it is not embarrassing. i have thoughts sometimes about decisions i make on schooling that are like “oh what if so and so thinks i am just giving up?” newsflash- you’re not. and you know that. God has a plan and He does everything for a purpose that we may not see at the moment! keep going girl, i love your videos and you!
GIRL you are amazing you are so pretty and inspiring I have watched your videos for so long and I’m subscribed!!! What Starbucks drink is that? 💗 your so amazing!!
Wow girl, thank you for this! I've been on the Child Life path for several years now after getting my BS and MS, and have applied for an internship for the past 10 semesters. It's sad and disheartening how competitive the field has become, and how difficult it is to get into something I've dreamed about for so long. Your perspective was really helpful as I've been seeking other careers. Thank you!!😀
I honestly don't know how you do it all! I am 26, work part time (24 hours a week) and study full time doing a double major and I feel like I struggle so hard!! You definitely help me feel like I can do it though! Then part of me wants to start a RUclips channel too, but I'm also questioning with what time 😂🤷🏼♀️
Hi, I am such a big fan and I am in the 7th grade. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day. You are a big influence to me. I want to go to the university of Alabama be in beta Phi and be a OBGYN when I grow up. Thank you for making videos every day and hopefully I will get to meet you. 💕Abigail
Can you make a video leading up to rush that is advice for us recruiting?? I'll be on the other side this year and I feel like there is so much more to it than I thought.
I've never heard of required placement or internship hours which count for credit but aren't arranged by the university. What on earth 😳 In teaching they have partner schools. Nursing and medicine too, the 4 hospitals in the region take an allocation of students in collaboration with the University. They shouldn't be putting requirements in which they cannot guarantee they can provide 😕
Thanks for sharing about your major. I'm honestly really nervous about finally starting my major's classes in August. I also just got a new job and that has me incredibly anxious to start.
changing your majors doesnt mean you don't love it anymore it just means its something that was meant to happen, all this that comes in your way, all are in the cards for you, it will lead you to where you need to be ( also my life philosophy btw which i completely believe to be true).... i say take everything you have chosen with confidence and know that all this is gonna lead to something awesome and great and exciting one day...also youre still navigating your life like im still navigating it like so is everyone and yeahhhh.. what matters is that you def will love this change i promise you this... whenever i come across changes i thought, this is gonna lead to smth and it always does, so yeah cheers to that exciting future coming that you'll def love...wohooo oh and also muah also i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee love you so muchhhhhhhhhh
Just have to say your makeup is so pretty today! It always is, and you're always beautiful, but the eyeshadow is on point! Colleges require the dumbest things but never help you reach your goals. I transferred colleges Junior year, went from a State Uni to a private, and NEITHER had anything helpful for me with the volunteering hours and such. And the fact that no one took you seriously is garbage. People don't believe in proper adolescent development and it shows.
I'm also a HDFS Major w/a Child Life Concentration at Bam (online) and I'm planning on changing it as well, most likely dropping the concentration due to the absolute *INSANITY* that the practicum and the internships are. I love the idea of being a CCLS and helping kiddos, but right now it's not in the cards at all for all that unneeded stress.
Sororities are good as an Alumna when you're in business. Same w/ Fraternities. It can give you an 'in.' Never too early to start networking. It's good on a resume. My Mom was a Pi Phi, UGA. RIH.
Omg… that sounds sooo much!!!! I’m so glad you dropped that. It’s OK. I dropped out of college . Because I didn’t know what I was doing and it just triggered my mental health 😩.
What was that Starbies you ordered? It looks so good. I got my 2nd cousin a Starbucks gift card because I couldn't go to her graduation party. Not only was it the situation, but also, I didn't have a ride. You are smart to get a new major. I'm still undecided and I'm 42.

I love you so much

You’re gonna make me cry🥺🥺 thank you so so much for this. This made my entire day.
Lauren I totally feel you! My major was psych and family development, with the intention of going into child life.
Yes I'm 36 and am about to return for prereqs so I can take my MS in Genetics Counseling.
@@2134knees that’s awesome!
I feel so stressed and my mental health is taking a toll
I think that it is awesome that you were brave enough to do what you knew was best after putting so much time and energy into your previous degree!
social work is the best!! i love my major sm
YES!! Exactly this👏🏼 thank you
I changed my majors/minors halfway through my undergrad too. I just wasn’t enjoying what I was doing, and I was so much happier after making the switch, even if it was a major headache (and required me to play catch-up my last two years to make sure I graduated on time!), so I get you!! There’s nothing wrong with changing your mind and your focus-we’re all just trying to find our path ☺️💖
thank u for being so vulnerable and honest with us!! so proud of u for listening to ur gut!!!
Omg, i graduated with a bio degree last year but I was thinking about going back to get a MPH for Med school but I wasn’t sure.
Hi Lauren! It is so inspiring hearing how you have gone from a little beat up car drive with me to this💗✨ I can’t wait till my time in University!!
Please remember that sorority membership is for life! The alumna experience is wonderful. More of the fun and less of the work. 😄 Once you are settled after graduation, look into an alum chapter.
Thank you for sharing this with us! Changing your major is so hard, but you have to do what is best for you! I changed my major from nursing to business and it was the best decision I made!
you are literally like my favorite youtuber
It’s ok that you changed your major. Do what makes you happy girl.
Glad you shared this sometimes even though I value education college can seem like such a scam. Things need to be better all around.
🥺🥺 I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. Thank you so much for sharing. There’s a lot that people don’t tell you when you start
Your makeup in this video is amazing!!!! Tutorial??
I hope you enjoy your new major and you enjoy learning new things in your minor!
Was soo nervous seeing the relationship part of this. So soo happy to see you n Will are still together 🤍👏🏽👏🏽
That blue top absolutely makes your eyes pop!!
I was on track to be a child life specialist too and I relate so hard to what you’re saying. It was so much on me and my empathy and I don’t think it’s what the Lord had for me. Loved it but it wasn’t for me
Congratulations on changing majors to something you’re more passionate about!
OMG I’m so happy for you! changes are wonderful! 11:11 making a happy wish!
Thank you lovie!!
@@TheLaurenNorris 💖Love you Lauren!
When even the car wash matches her aesthetic. I literally love it!! 💕
Raise your hand if you saw this coming...Great choice, Lauren!!! Hard to make these adjustments, but better now than later.
Also, as a third grade teacher, I feel like a child life specialist sometimes...but it's a lot more involved than that, I'm sure!
So proud of you for doing what's best for you!! I just changed my major too and I am so much happier
The ThredUP clothes are so cute and thank you for the life update and changes are always good!
I changed my major as a senior. I do not regret it one bit.
Thank you!!😀
I’m so glad I haven’t changed my major, but props to the major change 👏 and I’m sorry I had to go through all the unwanted stress 💯
I honestly don't know how you do it all! I am 26, work part time (24 hours a week) and study full time doing a double major and I feel like I struggle so hard!! You definitely help me feel like I can do it though! Then part of me wants to start a RUclips channel too, but I'm also questioning with what time 😂🤷🏼♀️
You inspire me Lauren! I loved this video. The Starbucks refreshers are my favorite too!
hi lauren, you're a huge inspiration to me. im starting my senior year in august too and im 24! love your videos!
Hi,
I am such a big fan and I am in the 7th grade. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day. You are a big influence to me. I want to go to the university of Alabama be in beta Phi and be a OBGYN when I grow up. Thank you for making videos every day and hopefully I will get to meet you.
💕Abigail
You should wear that color blue more often. It works with your eyes perfectly!
You’re so amazing Lauren.❤️❤️❤️
Can you make a video leading up to rush that is advice for us recruiting?? I'll be on the other side this year and I feel like there is so much more to it than I thought.
I've never heard of required placement or internship hours which count for credit but aren't arranged by the university. What on earth 😳
In teaching they have partner schools. Nursing and medicine too, the 4 hospitals in the region take an allocation of students in collaboration with the University.
They shouldn't be putting requirements in which they cannot guarantee they can provide 😕
she gives legally blonde elle woods vibes and i’m all for it!! 💗
aww thank you!
this was a rly good facetime call thanks laur
Thanks for sharing about your major. I'm honestly really nervous about finally starting my major's classes in August. I also just got a new job and that has me incredibly anxious to start.
You got this babe 💖
@@TheLaurenNorris Thanks Lauren! 💗 Also I just ordered one of the new tees! Sooooo excited!!
I love your vids and how u are one of the respectfull youtubers !!
Also ur rlly pretty!!!
Just ordered the tye dye tshirt!!! So excited. Love this merch drop
I love your videos Lauren! It’s so nice when you post every time
changing your majors doesnt mean you don't love it anymore it just means its something that was meant to happen, all this that comes in your way, all are in the cards for you, it will lead you to where you need to be ( also my life philosophy btw which i completely believe to be true).... i say take everything you have chosen with confidence and know that all this is gonna lead to something awesome and great and exciting one day...also youre still navigating your life like im still navigating it like so is everyone and yeahhhh.. what matters is that you def will love this change i promise you this... whenever i come across changes i thought, this is gonna lead to smth and it always does, so yeah cheers to that exciting future coming that you'll def love...wohooo oh and also muah also i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee love you so muchhhhhhhhhh
I love this!!!
@@TheLaurenNorris awwwww and I LOVE YOU🥺😚😚😚😚❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
RIH.
Praying!! 🙏🏻❤️
I know you love pink, but blue looks amazing on you too!
So excited for this video!
Omg… that sounds sooo much!!!! I’m so glad you dropped that. It’s OK. I dropped out of college . Because I didn’t know what I was doing and it just triggered my mental health 😩.
Blue is your color 🔥🔥🔥 your eyes look amazing!!
I think it is very mature and sensible to have changed your major.
What was that Starbies you ordered? It looks so good. I got my 2nd cousin a Starbucks gift card because I couldn't go to her graduation party. Not only was it the situation, but also, I didn't have a ride. You are smart to get a new major. I'm still undecided and I'm 42.
