Also, is itso damn hard to shuffle the deck after the first phase and put the bottom card on top so you can pull some descent force like slip or "cull" if you put it second, third or whatever. I dont understant the hindu force, its an offence to spectators intelligence Or, if you ppl do hindu force, take a thumb break on the selection, do a classic hindu shuffle and when they say stop you take the pack in your right hand (with the selection on bottom) and touch the other half and ask "here?" and in process while asking you leave the selection on top of the pack in your left hand. That way you'll not have a discrepancie of mixing the top of the deck and showing the bottom as sewlection. PS.I know it does fly, the classic hindu force, but DONT BE LAZY, and DONT UNDERESTIMATE YOUR AUDIENCE INTELLIGENCE.
igor svakurac there's a great version of this on art of magic atm that avoids the Hindu shuffle in the trick entirely which I love. I never liked that bottom force procedure either
thomas hudders I'll have to check it out because I absolutely despise the Hindu Shuffle, I think it looks so horrible. I do a version kid this trick where I cut the cards, hold a pinky break, and do a riffle Force. It looks so much better. I will have to check out their version
Greg Schachte basic method is start with the odd coloured duplicate a few cards in from the bottom and cull it as you start spreading face up and have them name any card they see. Then you break the spread there to slide their selection straight in front of the odd backed card and square up. And you started with the regular colour duplicate on top so that you can easily reassemble the deck after your double lift in such a way that the card you need to force is on top and you can use a much nicer looking force. No hindu shuffling at all
1:15 That's a very simple but clever card force, I like it. I guess the typical person wouldn't even notice the bottom card never changes, yet it's the one "revealed" to them.
There is a better way, keep a break of the bottom card, do Hindu shuffle and when they say stop you ask "Stop here? You sure? " as you said that you move the hand with the break on top of the other package and drop it, than you show them the top card on the package you just drop the card on If you already know, it's fine but for those who don't, this is a good way to get away with the Hindu force
I really enjoy videos like this Alex. It's hard to find videos of routines and I feel like these can be the most educational for up and comers. Great job.
The first 2 minutes of this video is fantastic. Incredible spectator for this trick!!! The woman definitely enjoyed this performance. Well done Magick & Alex; thank you! Remember folks, she is the lucky one -- the 'Magic' is in her mind! Looks like she was very happy.
Thanks guys as an older magician I used to do a lot of stage stuff I'm getting in the close-up You gave me a lot of valuable information I can't thank you enough
Magic's patter is magic! I find as card magicians, we can sometimes come across as quite arrogant or condescending without meaning to. His patter is fun, playful and almost flattering! To me, the real gold in this video is watching Magic perform and paying attention to how he engages his audience. Great tricks and advice dude, Thank you!
Great tutorial Alex. It is great to see a mixture of information in the video from how to do a trick and then performing for a crowd. Thanks again and love your work.
great video! I love the way he really interacts with the adience! I read some comments here about his DL in the first trick. Who cares about a DL when you have such an amazing interaction with the audience? Plus, he gets away with it anyway. Love his vibe/spirit
This was great 👍 Alex. Good to see that becoming back into effect, so to speak! I like that this one leaves plenty of room for improvisation, in fact all of them did! And goes to show how easy the magic of performers for spectators can be, without overkill or dismissing simple gags and routines that do work! I loved this, I titled my private RUclips playlist for your work, Alex Pandreas’ Theory in Magic-because of your approach and videos like this one and all your other work. Thanks for sharing!! Good luck 🍀👍.
Nice video! And for fav close up magic, always amazing to see when a magician tugging the line between magic and pickpocket, like stealing their watch and stuff.
I really like this trick. I have a question about this: do you have a quick way to reset it ? And do you always use the same red card or do you change it for each presentation during the show ?
This was great advice on something I always wondered about ,which is how to many tricks to have ready for walk around and how to best manage your pockets for doing so. I already have various bags of different sizes that I use. Envylope is awesome and a trick that I should revisit again soon. One of my favorites is a trick I purchased from the Houdini store in Las Vegas called "Unthinkable". The decks I carry around the most are the Unthinkable deck, a Si Stebbins stacked deck, an APEX Triple Threat Deck, a regular bicycle deck, and an Invisible Deck.
Exactly. And hey, as long as you’re personable and can keep their attention, you can pretty much be as sloppy as you want and they won’t notice. I’ve been amazed at how much stuff I’ve gotten away with because people just weren’t paying that much attention to my hands, more so to my face and what I was saying.
Hey Alex, thanks so much for posting this video, I'm pleasantly surprised that Magick actually showed us what was in his bag, and a breakdown of the pocket management stuff. Really useful information!
Yes not a great double lift, but he does it aimed away from the audience and his patter is so on point nobody notices the lift. Magic is about a lot of distraction, he does it so well.
Hey Alex, can you do a video on setting up and cleaning up? Especially while doing walk around. One of my biggest problems is how to set up/clean up after or even in-between tricks. The obvious answer is pull out a new deck, but pulling out deck after deck feels wrong to me... It gives the impression that you have something to hide.
Josh you can cull cards, palm them off, or setting up the deck while you search for specific cards or while you talk. Just be creativ, this is what I think
Thanks for sharing man that was cool to see you guys behind the scenes. Videos like this make my day. Tell magic I said thank you for the tip, I love the duplicate signature. That'll really sell some of the things that I've been working on
Alex, these are so good!! Please keep them coming!! Really good stuff man, for your next episode can you do this exact thing but for restaurant magic? Like how to approach people and what tricks to do and how to get the gig and price and stuff like that. Like the business of magic.
Loved that, simple video but answers so many questions asked by guys starting out and finding their feet in live magic! The rest is just the balls to go there 😎. Thanks guys! P.s Magic, you the man. Always have a blast learning your effects. Thankyou
Magic has been one of the funnest magician Ive watched for awhile but there is absolutely no excuse on his atrocious double lift considering he’s been doing magic for a long ass time.
Thank you Alex Please make another video with this magic beast he does really awesome job U see some of your viewers are walk around performers so we get lost of help with it Make another video of closeup magic with tablw hopping and walk around magic tips
I rewatch the video and got more out of this. Thank you and your team for the tips. I live in Seattle and trying to make a name for myself our here. I don't know if anyone online know who I am.
Good stuff (pocket management...) and nice convincer ! Hey about that transparent box to carry decks safely, if anyone has a link to buy them, I would appreciate ! Thanks !
Please, please, please, MORE snippets of actual performing magicians, Alex, Magick, etc., performing for small groups like this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris Ramsay playing cards
Dammit I mean first*
@ChrisRamsay when are you uploading a new video? Cuz I love your videos, you have an amazing personality
Knights!!!
Chris Ramsay hi
Excellent trick! But the real trick is how he got away with that giant thumb count :P
Also, is itso damn hard to shuffle the deck after the first phase and put the bottom card on top so you can pull some descent force like slip or "cull" if you put it second, third or whatever.

thomas hudders My man, thank you very much. Seriously
Great trick, worst double lift ever! 😅
Trébol Zero 0:57 oh yes 😂😂😂
IKR
The double lift is not as bad as the camera angle.
Yep lol
But that just shows how much you can get away with lol
1:15 That's a very simple but clever card force, I like it. I guess the typical person wouldn't even notice the bottom card never changes, yet it's the one "revealed" to them.

Overall, this the BEST video I have seen on magic; including Magick -- that guy is incredible!!!
Thumbs WAY up!

LOL at the critics talking about his double lift. This man is a paid performer, and you're watching him while sitting on your couch.
Exactly. I absolutely enjoyed his performance. What a great idea having people like this entertain your wedding guest.
Exactly. And hey, as long as you’re personable and can keep their attention, you can pretty much be as sloppy as you want and they won’t notice. I’ve been amazed at how much stuff I’ve gotten away with because people just weren’t paying that much attention to my hands, more so to my face and what I was saying.
All those losers are infuriating. I had to scroll down too much to finally find some sense.
Wow ! The best tricks for wedding or party with friends ! Great magic ❤️♦️♣️♠️

What bag is that? Looks really functional.
I was performing this routine as it was in one of the illusions that got me to magic. Finally I now know the origins... Hehehe. Thanks
Hi, if you like visual card magic, have a look on this : ruclips.net/video/wAGXdGt4La8/видео.html
