    13:42 Bobby Moore's last touchdown. When he took the field again--ironically in Philadelphia to open 1973--he was Ahmad Rashad.

      Cliff Branch is now a senior candidate in the 2022 HOF and hopefully Harold Jackson will eventually be recognized as a HOF inductee. Most receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs in the 1970's and still not in the PFHOF is a travesty and a crime in my book.
      Hopefully next year, Harold Jackson will be recognized for his production and his career through. When he retired in 1983, he was only second in receiving yards behind the late, great Don Maynard. I guess the only reason why he's not in the HOF is because he never gotten a chance to play in a SB, plus being in many different teams (started with the LA Rams in 1968, but traded to PHI in 1969 for his best season and later in 1972, in which in 1696 and 1972, he led the league in receiving yards, only to be traded to the Ramsin 1973, where he would lead the league in receiving TD, and finally in his twilight would be teamed with Stanley Morgan and form a productive receiving tandem in 1979) but production wise, he was the best receiver in the 1970's.
      Lynn Swann, Drew Pearson, Paul Warfield, and former teammate Harold Carmichael are all in the HOF, and Harold Jackson should be in the HOF with them as well as an honorary member of the 1970's All-Time Team.

    How can a team that had Hawkins , Jackson and Big Harold not score points. If those 3 played today . They would be as good as any 3 on a team in the league.

    Could have had Harold Jackson and Carmichael together for a decade more of the best receiving duo in the league instead of compounding the stupidity of trading away Jurgensen and drafting John Reaves by trading Jackson for Roman Gabriel.

    It’s ironic that the Eagles produced the league reception and interception leader and yet finished the season with 2 wins. John Reaves showed flashes of potential in his rookie season, but he turned out to be a flash in the pan. Jackson and Bradley are among the best at their positions that are not in the Hall of Fame.

    couple key members of the teams that would be so good under Vermeil start to come together, but this was a baaaaaad football team still several years away from being good. Giants hung a 60 burger on them FFS. NFL Films did an amazing job being optimistic

      The good news about that 62-10 rout was it wasn't televised. Striking IBEW workers cut the cables at Yankee Stadium to prevent the telecast to Philadelphia, Delaware and most of New Jersey.

    Seldom used Harold Carmichael. Maybe if they used him more they would have sucked that year

    • @DNSKansas
      @DNSKansas 2 года назад

      Khayat was too stupid to understand how dangerous Carmichael could be on the outside. Instead, he was forced to rot at tight end. Mike McCormack fixed that quickly, trading Harold Jackson to LA in the Gabriel deal and drafting Charle Young from USC to play tight end. Carmichael moved to the outside in '73 and took off from there.
