I am a total white bread boring make with a wife, 2 kids and a dog. I am starting my financial independence journey and found this video when I searched setting up a trust. This video was INCREDIBLE. Not only on an information standpoint but also was eye opening on more of the sub text on how lopsided we are in this country. Obviously on race but wealth and wealth management is such an effective tool for the haves to keep out the have nots. These lessons need to be mandatory

You don't really need an attorney
It’s best to use a lawyer, however there are plenty of solid resources online that can walk you through how to do it yourself.

How do you start a Trust???
Why do WE pick am Entity to receive our wealth over flesh and blood.
Tax purposes / probate I believe . Probate + lawyers = huge expense. Plus the state / gov gets a cut . Where as a trust is setting stone .
Plus the entity protects your assets and wealth through generations and forces your future gen to learn financial freedom . Also if you transition with debt the state cannot collect because your trust owns said estate . That’s like the life insurance game that many elite play . “ Own nothing , control everything.”

I had a home left to me but I never knew until it was in probate and I was in college and the person who was possessing it lost it bc of greed🫣 I will NEVER do this so I created a private family Trust
