- It wasn't the best week for boating in Eagle River Wisconsin, daytime temps only got to 72 degrees F (22 C). But, we made the best of it. I am a big fan of cold water dips. Research shows that they are great for the immune system and help with your mental wellbeing, among a multitude of other benefits. Watch me, Kiwi, and Goran do some cold water dips at Scattering Rice Lake in Eagle River Wisconsin as well as see some beautiful drone shots of the chain of lakes. If you love boating, the Eagle River Wisconsin chain of lakes is a great spot and you should definitely check it out!

Looked like it was very cold.
This also brings back memories for me. My family and I always jumped in the lake during the summer. As I remember, the water was always cold but it warms up the more you're in it. Also, we went on boat rides either driving around, my brothers and sisters were skiing, and I went tubing. We used to stop at Chanticleer Inn for lunch. Did you guys go there?
Heck yea! We love Chanticleer! I love swimming in cold water, once you get in it feels great :)
