I missed you Allie 😊 you went to long without making a video I was worried about you my friend can't wait till hunting season and like all the new cool gear best wishes from Ontario Canada 🐕☺️🇨🇦
I just went to my local hunting/fishing store, fully prepared to spend 400$ on JUST a saddle, when the employee showed me all their grit gear. I balled out a little bit and got pretty much everything in this video and all the equipment seems super high quality and well made. Looking forward to hunting with this kit. Great video too
Great to see you back.. That Grit setup is very cool, but when you said, affordable, I was thinking $300 bucks for everything, but nope 😂 Still out of my reach.. But very cool and a definite savings, for those who can afford.. Good to have you and Mr Nick back. God bless.
ALLIE!!!! Glad to see back you on the Tube, hope everything's been good. I've recommended this kit to soo many people "thinking" about getting into saddle hunting.
Thank you for the review and the information in this video. I hope a lot of people get it. Also it's good to see a full video from you it's been awhile
Light, strong, cheap…pick any two! I bought my whole saddle set up recently in one go. After the saddle, platform, ropes etc etc…I opted for the grit sticks to save some $. I like em, but they are not light. They bite well and have great stand off and are a breeze to climb. I put a two step amsteel aider on one and am happy with em. I’ll most likely find something lighter eventually as I like to walk in and a few miles to get ‘there’ isn’t uncommon.
Watching your saddle hunting "how to" videos really got me interested. Until I started pricing some of the Tethrd gear. It just wasn't worth the investment for me. However, this GRiT gear might be more in my price range. I'm going to look into it. Thanks for posting this. Welcome back we've been missing your content. Good luck on the upcoming season
saddle hunting is something I'd like to get into but like you said everything for saddle hunting is very expensive but I'm not sure if 600 almost 700 is considered cheap either... I mean it's definitely cheaper than 1000.. but for some of use 700 is 2 paychecks if it was 500 I would definitely consider buying it but it's still a lot of money...
Great review but I still wouldn’t call this a budget Saddle. XOP mutant gives you ropes as well and it’s like $120. That grit is just a nice middle of the road setup
Looks like a good product. Thank you for a great review. I do have one question about the size of the pockets, can they hold 40 feet of rope for one sticking?
Me and my friend both bought the platform one regular and one XL and after 3 hunts both of them developed a loud creaking sound that ended up costing both of a deer in the same morning. Brought them home to try to stop the noise and was never able to make either one make the same sound again 🤷♂️
Just placed an order for two sets of all of it for my son and I! Sticks are supposed arrive Thursday! Can't wait!
Yessssss! You're going to have a blast!
Seeing all the hunting vids on RUclips coming on. Means it’s getting close to deer season!
It's almost here!!

For sure. Thanks for watching Jeff!
I found it bulky and chunky with the pockets but can def tell it’s a tethrd I saved it for a backup!

Well well well… look who decided to finally post. I’m just joking around, I’m glad you finally posted! October 5th needs to hurry up!
I can't wait!!
You rock the videos. Could you do a video how “you” use the ropeman. I’m new and could use ideas? Keep up the videos you rock and best of luck
Thank you! I'll add it to the list!

“Let’s not sell online, even though it’s 2024 and everything is online based” …… cmon Tethrd. Dropped the ball
Looks like a good product. Thank you for a great review. I do have one question about the size of the pockets, can they hold 40 feet of rope for one sticking?
I haven't tested that, but I'd imagine so! They're quite large.

Hit up their customer service for sure!!!
I heard there is a recall on these sticks.
i got my work horse sticks today.they are great.they didn't come with any instructions which was annoying to put together.
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY my friends
Good afternoon Earl!
@@OutdoorsAllie Hi my friends

My local Rockingham cooperative has the kit for only $229!
Sweeeet!

Dang.
What do you use for climbing sticks and is there a video for that?
I use Tethrd sticks. Yes, I have videos about that!
@ Thank you. Can you please send me your video link about them? Thank you
So what size I need for 240lbs
Where have you been girly ??? We missed you.
Busy! Working, traveling, fishing, etc. Thanks for watching Brian!
Nice presentation but man saddle hunting can still be expensive..even if this is a budget minded deal..
Ya, they aren't cheap. They do last a long time though!
There Is so much clutter involved with this hunting style.
Pretty intuitive once you get used to it!
I’ve watched many of your video Allie. Very informative and put forth in an interesting way. Best of luck this year!
