I learned all about this from watching this very segment as a young boy!

I'm glad you remember! We've produced two DVDs with many of our favourite segments. These can be ordered at the bottom of the home page of our website www.curiosityshow.com.au Deane.

How did you guys do your research for episodes before the days of the internet?
Were there specific books that you pulled from? Encyclopedias? Walks around the library?
Your content is so diverse. Im always surprised with how much I learn from this tiny segments.

All of the above! Rob and I were both avid readers and book collectors and we were constantly looking for new ideas to turn into Curiosity Show segments. Also, some segments were our responses to questions sent in by viewers. Deane.

Both Dean and Rob were (and are still) smart fellas with academic backgrounds. They had a great vision with the show to cover amazingly wide and diverse topics and did it in an interesting and fun way. I was lucky as my Dad was a bit like them, so was always filling my head full of the sort of things included in the show but I know not all kids were as lucky. Without Rob, Deane and TCS most kids would never have got to hear or learn about most of these things. Thanks again Rob and Deane!

Our great pleasure. Deane is right, but we both were lucky enough to have childhoods before TV. That sounds paradoxical, but we grew up in an era when it was common to make and do things with your hands and that provided a lot of material - Rob
