I think it’s worth mentioning that in a majority of situations (especially when taking shots in stride) the top hands doesn’t just stay extended waiting for the shot to happen. Instead it rides close to the body and shoots out momentarily right before the shot is taken, before being pulled back in. Other that that a very helpful video on shooting mechanics.
Please make more videos! You have the best instruction videos on youtube by far! I would take your class but you're all the way in Minnesota! or Please make a DVD video, I would definitely buy one and I'm sure plenty of others would too!
Hello! Yeah it is a great example of shooting technique. I agree with comments below that in 1 000 000 videos coaches tried to show this and that but the real truth is how to deal with your top hand. In my case I`ve always kept my top hand very close to my belly so shot accuracy and power were disaster. Many thanks for you videos I`ll try to do it another way!
Sexian! Haha I do look similar to Julian from the Trailer Park Boys when I wear a black shirt. I have a friend that looks a lot like Ricky and we've gone out as those characters for Halloween in the past. Bubbles is our weak spot. Hard to find a good Bubbles.
You can perform a snap shot on your off side?? Mind blown. Not exactly as useful as say the ability to shoot off both feet in soccer, but props... props...
One of the best tutorials I've ever seen
I have seen a ton of shooting videos, and this one ranks up there...very simple, good instruction, explains the application well. Thanks!
