Given this is the final season of Mock the Week, could you imagine if they managed to get David, Andy, Russell and (by some miracle) Frankie back for the final episode? I know, wishful thinking. But, could you imagine?
I *think* I'm getting the tone right from James in this episode with the references, he does still indeed like Frankie and he's being genuine, right? because I know there are some comics James has been a little open about not being too crazy about them. it is a little harder to keep up with that kinda now since James ditched social media (why he's probably the smartest one of us all)
With everything happening the Tories would be hearing about their shortfalls too often for their liking. Its just the way the Right is handling the situation (after being in leadership for the last 12 years and creating the mess)

When is it ending? I can only presume, at the end of the series, however many more there will be, I don't know. It's genuinely upsetting. I'd also, forgotten about it happening so, I was in ignorant bliss...
Probably some suits saying "We've already got a topical panel show about the news and current events, why do we need another one?", not realising that the two have differing audiences. Plus, a lot of the focus is on the stand up elements, which does have something of a sell by date, so it's loses a lot of its repeat value because of that; even if dated material still has a nostalgic appeal to look back on, the stand up tends to be assembled into compilations a lot easier. And whilst I wasn't the biggest fan of him, I hope the finale has Frankie Boyle on for one last hurrah, if just to keep the old fans who liked him happy.
Beyond gutted Mock the Week is ending its still by far one of the only reasons to turn the TV on due to the rapport between everyone and the genuine brilliant humour, gonna miss waiting for new episodes and will be re watching all the previous series online! Thank you all for all the laughs xxx

this is easily one of my favourite Brit comedy shows, I can't believe it's ending. Introduced me to many a fine comedian, including but not limited to Frankie Boyle, Ed Byrne, Milton Jones, James Acaster, David Mitchell, Andy Parsons, Hugh Dennis etc
We can only hope that Dave commissions a new series, it is sorely needed. British satire is dying a death at the moment, Radio 4 and the BBC are a perfect example. Maybe this is the Governments way of ending the BBC, just cancel all the good stuff and leave us with the bland rubbish. I watch Beeb so rarely that I didn't realise Mock the Week had been cancelled, just discovered it by watching You Tube because You tube is how I watch Mock the Week now. Im not sllowed any technology in my room at night so im watching this on my friends old 10 year old alcatel phone and it took me 15 minutes 15 whole minutes to load the episodw cause it takes 2 minutes for youtube to load and a further minute to fimd the episode only to crash 5 times. 5 times and this happens most nights
