All over biblical scriptures it says life and death is in the power of the tongue….”a man who has self-control will rule a city” is one of my favorite proverbs
Masculinity is built upon self control and being accountable for one’s actions

You’re right about power of words hurting. Someone acted as they wanted to cause me bodily harm. My aggression shock them. My mental warfare completely destroyed them. Mentally , emotionally, and spiritually. Ppl are unaware the mind may never recover. The body always does though

Very important message. I’ve caught myself saying things I shouldn’t have said so many times. Being mindful and self-aware is the key, and I’m still working on it

Always showing wisdom I used to say anything. I never thought before I spoke just blurt out. Now I’ll keep my mouth closed. my subconscious & conscious mind communicate.

Preach Uncle Rom. People rushing to blurt out words but keep your Ears open if you want to connect and help someone especially when they are talking about feelings tone down judgements!

You always drop powerful messages but this by far is one of the best. This a lost art a lot of men especially black men need. I used to always say anything I wanted without thinking about the consequences quick to get the last word in. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to really take the time to process what I want to say next and how I respond. It’s allowed me in places my former self wouldn’t be welcomed at. A man being silent in the midst of a chaotic situation speaks volumes to his character! Salute Unc Rom as always

Much appreciated Uncle Rom Life and death is in the power of the tongue.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks are some biblical references this reminds me of.

You're right word can mess a person's life completely up. Also the fact that you can speak things into existence I know my problem is I need to change my mindframe. Also it depends because English on a spiritual plane holds 0 weight since English is still young a lot of the words we use have a different meaning. I've studied Hindu and sanskirt when I say certain letters if spoken correctly can send you away

I snapped on a brother today. I been having problems with a dealership fixing my car and i was at my limit.
I 100% had to apologize to him. I was frustrated with the process and was ready to get at him when all he was doing was his specific job. Luckily he was understanding so we got were able to get back on good terms quickly.
One thing i do make sure of when i snap is to never attack someone personally. Calling someone out there name is next level disrespect
