So when you do the jump cut you want to use the further leg to it with? Trying to help my son. He’s middle school this year 😮 and playing RB trying to help him with some drills.
Yes, when going the jump cut you want to press off with your outside foot and use that to get power on the jump. The video is an exact example of how it would be practiced in a drill. Hope this could help and thank you for watching!
You need to do your drills fast because we’re running backs we’re supposed to have the quickest footwork out everybody on the field. This is coming from a D1 running back.
