It's hard not to fall for Lewis Capaldi. The singer's voice brims with emotional gravitas, giving his performances a near-religious vibe. For the last three years the young Scot has wowed audience after audience with his fierce magic. "Someone You Loved" topped the UK charts for almost two months - a wild achievement for a pop newcomer that ultimately helped Capaldi build name recognition around the world. He's now a Vevo LIFT artist, and of course he turned in a handful of impressive performances. That lil jaw wobble he does that puts subtle vibrations on his notes is just perfect, adds so much vulnerability to his sound I love it.

@@craigpate it really does, it's so easy on the ear too, you'd think you'd want to avoid a wobbly vocal as a singer but it works so well with his voice and he puts it on just the right notes in the right amount 👌🏻

Every once in a while, a singer songwriter comes out and you find they're in a class with such people like Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Carol King, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen and others that I still love and listen to this day. For me, personally, I have to add Lewis to this list..there is something about his voice that is pleasantly haunting and a little bit sad but adds so much emotion to his lyrics. I hope this artist can stand the test of time and continues to perfect his craft and to give us his gift la beautiful songs and music.

One was the Fonda theater in LA and the other was a location in San Diego I can’t quite remember lol but both were memories of a lifetime. I feel like a proud parent watching you grow 🥲 lol. Lewis has said that he actually uses autotune all the time. autotune is a great tool for those who want to get that professional sound, and have NO mistakes in their music, and music isn't a sport, if they wanna use autotune, they can. It makes them just as much a musician as the next guy.
He uses it, but not to mask his voice, just for corrections, but he has a hell of a raw voice. Nonetheless outstanding between musicians nowadays
