- After being neglected for a couple months, the turbo FRS gets some much needed attention! Drift Dad and I throw some 5x114 hubs and rotors on the rear, and a straight pipe exhaust that’s been laying in the garage for some time now. Hey Allen have you seen the valve spring recall for early 2013 model FRS/BRZs (don’t know what year your BRZ is). A broken valve spring might be the culprit of your “rod knocking”. Happened to me and it sound like rod knock as well.
Just got that in the mail the other day.
Dealership does it for free to you if the car qualifies.
The coolest thing about this whole video is not only do you guys have most of my Dream-Builds setting around your garage, but that it's a Father-Son team job!!! AWESOME! I may buy an FRS because of this car.
Nimbus I was looking at them but they’re still WAY too expensive to be a drift car unless you get a salvage one... the oldest ones are almost a decade old at this point but they’re still upwards of 12 grand smh
I'd buy a used salvage one with the fa20.
Look in to the greddy RS catback for the car. I personally run it and I love the way it sounds
My first exhaust on the FRS was a Greddy Evo 3 which is the old version of the RS!

Front tires don't get changed anywhere neer as much. They can stay 5x100.
Just get drift dad a duck tail spoiler to cover all the dents and scratches.
Hey man you have great vids. Ive been thinking about installing a hydro on my frs but its my daily atm so i dont want to delete my hand brake. Do you have any experience running a hydro inline on this chassis?

What is the fitment like with the v1 flares and plm angle, I've been looking into that same setup? What wheels and tires do you run?
The fitment all comes from the width and offset of the wheels you use. I’m running a 17x9 +35 with 27mm of spacer
Good, but it is 4,5” and equals as 114,3mm. Rare version is 114,5mm. Both rims will work. 3 minutes in the video, if I look stoopid :-)

Falken86 eventually most likely. Problem is that it costs a pretty penny to swap the fronts, since you have to switch to z32s as well.
