Yes a Standard one, if I had more money and space I'd have backed a deluxe. I already have 3 Nevarro ones, so I want to combine those to the Mos Eisley one! :)

@@drentrop9525 I don't care who backs it, as long as it gets backed, it only helps all of us by getting those tiers unlocked. Everyone that wants it for the "cheap" price of 4-500 bucks have already backed it or are backing it before July 8th. Anyone waiting after that, will just have to suffer the ebay prices. Depending on how many get made, if it's low like the Sail Barge expect to pay well over 1k for it. If its plenty like The Ghost or Razer Crest than it will be a few hundred+ more. The Tonnika Sisters though will be worth a fortune on the aftermarket. 200+ each easy just to start. If it ends at just 8k-10k that means there will only be that many Tonnika Sisters in the world, dear lord that will be rare and in demand on day one. They will pay for the set alone lol.

I'm backing the deluxe as well. I do wish they made it look more like a building than just a set.
Nice, the deluxe set will look amazing when set up. I'm hoping yo have the display space to do it as the full bar in the middle and alcoves both sides. Again, it's that modularity that prevents it from having the exterior, but I may go the Diorama Workshop route and add a plaster of Paris shell once I have a layout I like.

Given that it is such a High End/Definitive item, all the Alcove Outside Walls should be textured/weathered. Not just the main entrance.
Dioramas could extend to the sides of the cantina as well, with textured/weathered walls.

Great choice! I'm thinking the extar booths will work well with a Nevarro display if I struggle for space for the full layout.

Usually a surge the last day. I don't know if it will hit tiers.
It will fund with flying colors & it will hit at least 2 tiers. Assuming it follows the pattern of all other HasLabs (including those that didn’t fund - which it is well ahead of despite the shorter funding window). It would have to be totally unique to not fund. Getting 6 figures is within reason when you compare to other campaigns.
But it will hit all 3 if you fence sitters get on it and BACK IT ASAP. The more time we have the upswing, the more tiers we will hit. You have nothing to lose, you don’t get charged till the thing ends. And then you have 30 days to cancel. So just do it if you want it at all, otherwise you will be paying much more when you get full FOMO seeing everyone’s displays and those gold figures only available in this HasLab.

It's still a nice set
7,686 with 314 backers to go now. it will hit 8k either tonight or sometime tomorrow. Then the FOMO tidal wave will start to hit during the final 3 days. We will see how many tiers will unlock before it ends. It is certainly gonna fund, getting around 20 backer's an hour give or take. I backed the deluxe when it was first announced, i don't play that FOMO game.
I think you're right, 8k by morning sounds about right. Then it's just hoping it rockets to 17k over the final days. I can't wait to see all the photo's of this when it arrives.
I am still debating. My issue is we haven't even received a shipping date for the Ghost, why are they barraging us with these Haslabs? Thank you for the most comprehensive explanation of the project I have seen yet.
I have no concern that they will come through with the Ghost as they have done with the other successful projects so far, but yes, having the best part of a grand tied up in product you haven't recieved is frustrating. I also backed the GI Joe Dragonfly and just had the delay notification email pushing it back to December. Again, frustrating, but I'd rather wait and have a better product when it does arrive.

I'm backing it ,,its a must I've looked into people who do 3-D printing an they claim it'll cost thousands of dollars too have one printed plus they claim if printed,the bar isn't going too be as detailed,,,so haslab Cantina is cheaper plus more detailed so I'm backing the deluxe set,,I just hope we hit all the tiers
I agree, the printing will get you some of the way there (at a cost) but even then, it still needs assembly and painting and they can't mass produce 3D printed super articulated figures (yet).
If you want it, and can afford it, then yes.
And that's the thing I should have stressed in this video, no sense in going into debt for a toy, no matter how cool it is.
And I'm still undecided can't find out if it has a ground base short of calling Hasbro pulse themselves tomorrow on Monday😅
Its going to fund. With a little less than 5 days, it was at 90% about noon. I haven't checked it tonight yet. I only but Black Series so this was a pass for me.
7,520 Backers so far, should pass easily, but yeah, I feel sorry for those who do collect both TVC and Black Series, thats a VERY expensive game.

It's July 4th and I just canceled my deluxe cantina order...
Why?
I told myself if it can hit just ONE tier, I'll keep the order, and it hasn't by design.
I can tell that greedy Hasbro set this campaign for only 30 days to hit 11,000 for lousy Greedo, (a name better suited for the Hasbro Corporation) which is a hard sell, after we all just backed the Ghost.
They released this campaign before we've even received the Ghost! (Which I spent $1000 on for 2).
They know what they're doing. They want to give you the bare minimum, and charge more and more.
I don't mind paying more, heck I'd buy 2 sets, but don't nickel and dime me.
Just announce that ALL tiers are now included, and I'd buy 2. Or at least lower the tier amount, do something, shoot throw in Nabrum and I will fund 2 right now. Hasbro has barely placed any ads for this. I am still getting RUclips adds for the E-wing! What gives?
Always wondered how much $$ Hasbro makes in interest, while holding on to the millions of $$ from backers till the toy gets released.
Not as much as you'd think. That money goes straight into development of the toy, some of it has already been spent of the 3D designs and prototype models. Their will be some held back for various stages of the production along the way. I doub't we'll ever get a breakdown from Hasbro though.
did you know that LEGO did a fantastic cantina set not too long ago? it had bloody everything! Including 21 mini figures! I think that is a much better version of the cantina. Though the price is similar. You get what you pay for I suppose.
That Lego set is amazing, but Lego for many reasons, can give the customer 'more'. The offset comes in terms of realism.

I know Cardboard Galaxy will be making a card version which will look great and give a flat floor to pose figure on. I'll be going for that plastic mesh over foam board so I can put pegs in the figures feet and push the other end of the peg through the mesh and into the foam board. I backed the deluxe set. I am keeping my eyes open and right now it's very close to 8000 backers. There is only 4 days left.
I think it'll hit 8k by morning with the way it's been moving today. Then it's just hoping it rockets to 17k over the final days.
@@ToysOfTheJedi I just checked and it's 256 away from 8000, it may hit before the morning. It's been going up very quickly this week. I sure do hope it hits 17K but it does not then I am happy at least with the Deluxe set with the figures. I want to create a Tatooine world building.

Excellent question. I believe it's free if you have Pulse Premium. In the UK is £10, in the US I think it's calculated based on your location

Just back it! You can sell it off later if you decide you don’t want it or can’t make space. The figures alone are going to be worth what this sells for now. And if you decide you want it later, you will pay MUCH MORE. Trust me.
I backed 2 - 1 deluxe, 1 basic. I will sell carded figures and pay for one. And then piece it out if I need to. People will want a single alcove for their displays, so they will be worth much.

I’m backing 2 at the moment, but the delay of my Dragonfly is making me think twice about it.
I have no concern that they will come through with the Cantina as they have done with the other successful projects so far, but yes, having the sizeable chunk of change tied up in product you haven't recieved is frustrating. I also backed the Dragonfly and its frustrating, but I'd rather wait and have a better product when it does arrive.

That's fair, if you have a grand tied up in product that has not yet arrived, it's rough to drop another $500. Out of curiosity, if Greedo does unlock, would you go back in?
It will hit 2 tiers minimum. It is following the pattern of other similar campaigns. But when people act like you are, it is keeping the upswell that will give us all three tiers - 6 figures!! Get back over there and fund it. You have days left until they charge. Stop being a self fulfilling prophecy 🤨

Not worth the asking price unless it reaches Tier #3. At this stage it will likely meet the backer minimum, but unlikely to reach even Tier # 1.

You haven’t been paying attention to the other HasLabs if you believe this. Even the unsuccessful campaigns prove this will get to the 2nd tier. But with folks like you holding it back, it won’t reach the third. It can, as other campaigns funded 3 tiers even with less orders than the Cantina has now. Batman is still in play!!!!

$500?? You collectors destroyed the toy industry and also have serious issues if you're willing to pay this price. This is cool but $150 at most and that's pushing it.
I'm afraid the toy industry landscape has changed and its been a long time since this would be feasible to produce for $150. I'm not disagreeing that $500 is expensive, but $150 is completely unrealistic
@@ToysOfTheJedi There not much to it. Tooling sure but they could easily have put this in the stores. I just checked my GI JOE Cobra Terror Drome box and and the sticker price was $49.99. That's $143 adjusted for inflation. And thats larger with tons of parts. The USS Flagg adjusted for inflation is still below $300. $150 is not unrealistic.
Collectors have ruined the market price wise and quality wise. They know you guys will pay crazy amounts even though the quality is just keeps dropping.
@@standepain inflation, yes, but those toys were made when plastic was far cheaper and Chinese labour was waaaaaaaaaay cheaper, both costs have increased considerably more than inflation since the 1980s. If you can find a Mos Eisley Cantina of this size and quality for cheaper, let me know, I'll gladly pick one up.
Dont Back it, and just wait for a most modest retail version from hasbro in the future.
I really can't see them revisiting the Mos Eisley cantina again after this. I have the old cardboard one from 1997, and the bar parts from 2004 and they're nice, but don't quite cut it.

Are you saying that not ONE of the nerdy, angry, previously Hasbro Pulse customers won't start spitting out cheaper cantina's just out of spite, ever? Sounds like a challenge. I just saw someone 3D print a massive Rouge One Black series scale Imperial combat assault tank.

The figures alone are going to be worth what this costs now. And dummies are going to pay for them in a year when these get sent out and reality sets in, haha…
