I remember watching this video 4 years ago before I bought my G. Since then I've manual swapped it, put in a black interior, and done a lot of other suspension and performance mods. Nice trip down memory lane watching this.
Danny Jr it's not bad tbh. Yes at times I wish I had manual, but at times I get happy that I have a auto lol, especially in heavy traffic. You have the optional "sport mode" where you can shift by yourself, but I find it's not as responsive as I would like. A benefit with auto is that you can add a shit kit to make it shift faster, but I'd still choose to have a manual over auto anyday.
You got this bro 🙏. Unfortunately for us G owners, the value is dropping, but for new car buyers, it's a good thing lol. You can find a G35 for less than 5k now. Work hard and in no time you'll own one.
Nice bro another car you can get for cheaper is deffinantly a 02 Impreza you put a 200 dollar factory wing on it it looks insane and it super versatile and fast for a car about 3k-6k and it’s amazing I’m 13 rn almost 14 but I want it
It's a amazing car man. You won't regret it. They're getting pretty cheap now, could find a decent one for less than 5k. Make sure you get a manual tho lol.
Appreciate it man. I would definitely recommend it for college. Just make sure you can afford premium cause it gets expensive lol. But yeh, car is luxurious, looks good, is reliable. I'd recommend it
@@DarkKnight-ko8lq anytime. Honestly I was debating between both of those cars also lol. The is250 has a really nice interior. They're reliable and being awd, going to help alot in the snow (not sure if it snows where you live). I chose the G cause I wanted something more sporty. I don't have passengers, so I didn't need a sedan. My advice would be to test drive both and see which one you have a preference for. Also look at your needs. Will you need space? Will you need the AWD? If yes, than I'd go with the is250. If not, I'd go with the G. Hopefully this helps
Omar A Thann you so much for your honest opinion haha now I know you’re not completely bias and looking at it objectively for my benefit. And I live in California so no snow here! And I do kind of want space but I am young so I thought why not have a coupe in my life early on and then sell it because they are fast compared to the ISA250. But at the same time I love the design of the Lexus over the Infiniti and can’t help but be brought in by Lexus reliability. I’m still on the fence though! Most likely I will have to drive both to see which one is most to my liking. Thank you so much!
looking back at this video you are talking about how expensive gas was kills me cause my g35 coupe fills up for 65. lord how i wish it was still 45 to fill haha but this car is the best car i could have bought i have seen these videos including yours since I was a sophomore and i bought my 04 coupe manual aero package for only 7k before the prices skyrocketed this year. super reliable, timeless look and the smooth power 10/10 recommend.
Yeh man, sometimes it was close to $70 and since I was driving so a lot, it was getting too much. I also have a heavy foot so that doesn’t help at all lol. I unfortunately sold the car this summer, but I do regret it. Looked amazing, sounded amazing, and it was comfortable. No matter how much I beat on it, it never let me down. Really grateful I was able to own this car for many years. On to bigger things
Bruv. I am buying one right now, same year as you and its 194000 km driven. And he’s is asking for 7.2k and i bargained down and now he said yes at 6.8k. He says no mechanical issues, serviced at time as his father works at dealership. How’s the deal? And second question is it realiable to do skip for month or two until i get into other job.
I had to search for months for a clean 6MT and drove hundreds of miles for it... Love your mods though, car looks great. The manual is a lot of fun for sure. If you want one go find it, they're out there. Should be no problem selling this one. Many modded Gs frankly look like crap but yours is very tasteful.
J Moe thank you bro, I appreciate it. Yeh my only regret is not getting a manual. I'm still looking everyday, but it's finding a clean manual is a real challenge. I've grown to love the Pearl white, so if I can't find a manual Pearl white G35, I'll probably just end up manual swapping it. I really want to start doing actual performance mods to it, but not to a auto.
Agree with all your points, the oil dipstick is garbage! Can't get a very good reading on it and its frustrating. The doors are super heavy and the hinges are bad. I cleaned them and it sort of helps with it staying open but still have to watch out for it closing on my leg. You got some nice features that I do not have as mine is an 04' model. Nice G35 and great video!
icecubez130 appreciate the feedback. The 06 has a slightly better interior, that's mainly why I chose it over the 04. I wasn't a huge fan of the placement of the speedometer on the 04. Like the refreshed style of the 06. But besides that, only some small differences here and there
Thank you! I tried to my best to cover everything. I hate watching reviews where people don't cover all the details, so wanted to make sure I got everything possible.
Really clean G bro, I love the mods it makes ur car unique to you. I have a silver 05 G coupe six speed on 20 inch Concept One Rims and for being a super old car people act like it's a freaking Ferrari when I drive by lol
Deftones 26 in my area, I'm one of the guys who has a G35, so my G is always breaking necks, especially since my exhaust is really loud lol. But for a car that was designed like 15 years ago, it keeps up with all the modern cars in terms of looks. I tried my best to find a manual, but every single one had way too many miles or just wasn't in good condition. I might just add some paddles or something and get a manual car on the side 😅
+Omar A ya ur right bro I bought my G with 85 thousand miles and it was super beat on when I got it, I had to change the clutch and flywheel like the second month, and it was slammed to the floor. ur smart getting a well maintained auto cause my clutch and flywheel were like 18 hundred bux total, I almost passed out when the mechanic told me lol
Deftones 26 I feel you man, unexpected costs always come at the worst time lol. Sometimes I hate having auto, but dealing with traffic in Chicago, sometimes I'm happy I got it. If I could go back, I still would've gotten a manual, but no point in dwelling in the past. I'm just happy I got something this nice for a first car
Well done review. I’ve got a 2004 completely stock example. I agree with pretty much everything you mentioned. The only thing I can think of adding is that I have 19 inch rims, low profile tires and I do feel the road more than I would prefer.. I’m thinking about putting some returns aftermarket coil overs over on it, but I need to do a little research to see if that would actually help smooth out the road...however this car handles excellent... takes curvy roads really well.
I appreciate the feedback. I'm on a completely new setup now. I have Varssetoens ES2, if I remember correctly they're 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the back, both +22 offset. I'm lowered on coilovers with camber arms and upper control arms. I do feel the road a little bit too much lol. Every rock I can feel it. I think it's cause these are budget coils, so it's expected. I'm sure a better set would ride way better. As for handling, I haven't been to the track, but on the highway, I can comfortably drive on a curve at 100+. The car feels completely planted to the ground. Before I would feel the car balance shift to one side, but I don't feel anything now. I would highly recommend coils, but I would spend a little more and get good quality ones. I have a video of my new wheels too if you would like to check that out.
Hey man love the vid !!! Unfortunately my fam is making me go auto for my first car so definitely gonna get a G :) Later down the road I’ll get something manual
Appreciate it. I completely understand where you're family is coming from. My dad didn't want me to get a manual for first car either, no matter how much I tried. Kept saying it was "old fashion" lol. But you'll still have fun in the auto G. I plan on getting something that's manual very soon also 🙏. Hope you like the G bro
The older models 2003-2004 had the best body styling design, the lower Bottom grille, upper grille, and Taillights. And they don't burn crazy oil like the Rev up engines.
To each their own. I personally prefer the newer taillights, and updated interior. Not to mention the 06-07 have the projector taillights which are way better than the older model headlights. Upper grill was the same in all models. Lower one, the 06+ has the sports bumper so it's a little different I believe. Mine is a DE so it's fine with oil. Rev ups were only for the manuals. But I agree I'd rather get a manual DE than a revup
Dude I can't wait to save up for a G35 Coupe I know that this video is a couple years old but man I've loved this car for a long time and want to buy one badly.
You got this bro. They're not as expensive anymore, you can find clean ones for like 5k, just have to look around. I worked my ass off and got it. Sadly I'm selling mine this summer, but I really enjoyed this car. You'll love it
@@omara8999 yeah for sure dude I'm seeing ones for 5k with 105k miles now. I'm working towards getting it maybe not soon but close. Sorry to hear that man but I'm glad it treated you well.
@@SuperHops it's all good bro. Love the car, wish I could keep it forever, but have to move on at some point in your life. Can't really do much to the car, and it's time for a change.
Bought mine at 15 years old after 2 years of saving my money. Best decision getting my liscense soon I still drive it just with caution. Have my permit the car is really nice tho and loud mine came with air intake and a custom exhaust green tip. With rims for 3800$ 2005 g 35coupe 143k miles .
I'm happy to hear that man. It's a really fun car to drive, and you got it for a good price too. Alot of cars are rising in value, and it's hard to find clean ones anymore. Best of luck with the car bro
Great video! I just recently bought an 06' G35 with 88 thousand miles on it. Clean car! Everything is stock on it. I would like to know where you purchased your headlights or know where I can get them.
The 2003-07 G35 Coupe Is A Great Car All The Way Around One Of The Best Coupes With A V6 Performance Wise & Appearance Wise I Love Them I Currently Have 2 M35's At The Moment A Black M35S & A Gray M35 I Was Looking At A G35 Coupe But Might End Up With A Black Red White Or Silver G37S Coupe
I was also looking for a G37 coupe. Very hard to find a clean manual these days. But I'm still debating if I want to stick with the VQ platform or not. Very expensive to modify
Glad you liked it. It was called "Isimple aux". I got it from Best Buy. I believe this is the same model at Walmart, I'll post the link below. I'd recommend saving up and getting those aftermarket screens systems that have apple car play/Android auto, Bluetooth etc. But they're more on the expensive side. They also have FM transmitters, you can look those up on Amazon. www.walmart.com/ip/ISIMPLE-UNIV-AUX-AUDIO-INPUT-FOR/262033087?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1878&adid=22222222228&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=341753167656&wl4=aud-430887228898:pla-293946777986&wl5=9021640&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=113500876&wl11=online&wl12=262033087&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQjwnv71BRCOARIsAIkxW9FjQUhX5xrB6IZuG-nwddAKESRzWD95bNXQBTglK0OG1m0pM7SHJlgaAuOvEALw_wcB
I was looking for a car and I don’t know much about them I stumbled across a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe so I decided to look on yt to learn more since it looked cool lol it says “2006 infiniti G35 coupe with full body kit it also has smoked chrome headlights and hid kit, black led tail lights, windows tinted, carbon fiber grill, 20 inch staggered niche wheels with good tires 275s in front and 295s on back, D2 coilovers, custom intake, exhaust, plenum spacer. Interior is clean, it has full led lighting kit and aux cable kit in stereo” with 120,000miles for $9,800 do you think it’s a good deal?
I personally wouldn’t drop 9.8k on a G35. For they much you can get a G37 coupe which is arguably a better car. Looks are subjective but interior is better, it has more power and front is way more aggressive. It’s basically a 370z in a tuxedo, if that makes sense. The markets messed up rn so every car is marked up high. I sold this one for $6500 last year, should’ve waited a bit lol. Sorry for the late response, didn’t check the channel for a bit. If you have any more questions lmk
Also coilovers and plenum spacer are mainly the real mods on that. Plenum spacer is useless without a tune. If you really want a G35, try finding one that’s stock. Lots of teens buy them and beat tf out of em, racing and all that. 20s with that tire size is gonna wear down your brakes hella
Hey great video man. I'm looking for my first car at 16 and I'm wondering if I should try manual. I've seen these cars are often crashed by teens so do you think I should go with automatic or manual?
Thank you 🙏. I'd always recommend getting a manual. Not only is it more fun, but driving a manual will keep you from going on your phone and stuff; be more focused on driving. Teens crash them cause either they drive crazy fast/do dumb stuff, or just don't know how to drive a rwd car. Imo the G35 is a perfectly balanced car, in which it's not overpowered, but at the same time it's enough to have fun. Just be careful, don't drive like the other idiots, and you'll be fine. Teens buy cars like Gs and Z's, and start acting like they have the fasting car in the world and want to race everyone lol
@@someguy1566 I'm happy to hear that man. I sold mine, miss it everyday, but have to move on at some point. Glad you're enjoying it. Maintain it well and it'll last you a while
All the autos are the same. There isn't a difference in the auto trans between the 03-07 G35 coupes. Only difference is in the manual transmission. The 06-07 had the Cd009 trans, which is way better than the older ones. As for the oil consumption, only way to know is really by asking the owner. Off course if you buy the car, you can monitor the oil itself. Best bet is to find a good seller who has proof he kept up with the maintenance, and is a trustworthy guy. Hope this helps
Not sure if you were joking since no one smokes anymore but that thing at the back of the center console is an ash tray. If it wasn't a joke you can probably add some graphic text to the video saying as such. This is a good video, and the camera is fine though a stand would help with the shacking.
I honestly wasn't sure what the back tray was for. I've asked in many G pages and everyone just said extra space so just went with that lol. My hands shake alot and I used my phone so the convo wasn't that good, I do have a actual DSLR now, so hopefully once I get a stabilizer, the footage will be good
If u would have just silicone sealed up those side markers first that won’t happen. Sick car, the coupe is so different from the sedan, sedan so ugly but coupe really nice. Are those stock tail lights ? What kind of USB thing is that how does it work?
Yeh those are stock taillights. The adapter I use is a USB to Aux port. You connect it to the back of the radio, and can use any aux. The G35 doesn't come with a Aux cord so this is one of the things you can install to listen to music.
Omar A ya okay thanks, I have 06 Acura TL similar position I’m in the car has so many feature that were nice for the time but no aux no USB port, 6 disc CD changer only lol, I was hoping u had a way of doing it where I didn’t have to remove the head unit cause it’s not simple to get to the back of the stock deck in the TL
@@rigjockey67 are you G35force lol? This is my G page, @o.dizzzle. The other one is my personal, accidentally put that one in the video. I'll follow you myself
My car isn't that low like the others (although I did lower it more than it is in this video). The high ones, you just have to turn the wheel and go over it slowly. Some it's fine, others unfortunately scrape my exhaust.
FLY FLASHY it's a isimple aux cord adapter. The G35 doesn't come with a aux cord, nor can you play music with the Bluetooth sync, so you have to get either a double din or aux cord set up. This was the cheapest route, like $50 and I've been using it for 2 years and have no complaints so far
I have all season tires, and as long as you drive carefully, you'll be fine. I've had this car for 4 years, and only had major trouble once, and that's cause it snowed like half a foot that day. Should've stayed inside lol. It takes some practice, but keep your distance, brake earlier, don't be dumb and try to slide around, and you'll be fine.
@@omara8999 planning on getting one hopefully this week , I can tell from the beanie you were wearing that you live in Calgary!! I live up in banff and kinda feeling the need to try some rear wheel driving .
@@josephjoseph1981 lol I live in Chicago. The C on the beanie is for the Chicago Bears. You just need a little practice. I go to Canada all the time and know how much it snows there 😅
The 03-6 350z and G35 have similar engines. The 07-08 350z however have the HR engine, which the G35 coupes never got, only the sedans. The HR engine is similar to the engines of the 370z and G37 which have the VHR. I would personally go for the HR just because it's more fun to drive, and has more potential for boost than a DE or Rev up which the older models have.
Damn bro I just seen one of these come in a used auto sales a minute away from my house. Bouta ask my dad if we can check it out and buy it for my school or my 16th birthday. I hope it doesn't sell quick 😭
Hopefully it goes well bro. There's alot on the market so don't get upset if it does sell. Dealerships mark them up usually higher, so a private sale wouldn't be a bad option. You can find them for like 3-5k private
More control over the car and more fun to drive. Nothing fun about just pushing a pedal. A manual car, even if it doesn’t have a lot of HP will always be more enjoyable to drive than a auto
I'd probably pay 5k, just cause the mileage is high. I'd make sure it doesn't burn oil and has been well kept. If it's super well maintained then yeh $5800, but honestly, I feel like the mileage is high for that much
Daniel Juarez manual is just more fun to drive. Getting a automatic was probably one of the bigger mistakes I ever made. It's just so boring pressing the pedal and driving. With manual you can fully engage with the car and it's a whole different feel. My friend had a automatic G and he sold it for a manual G and he said it completely felt like a new car. I needed to buy a car asap cause I just started to work, and couldn't use my parents cars cause they needed it. I searched for a clean manual G for months but couldn't find one. If you are planning on buying one, I would highly suggest get a manual.
I bought it off someone. It came painted black from the factory. Mine cracked so I just got from someone local. If you paint it, it's the same result. I painted the one I got with my car right away. There's pics of it on my IG@Omareo28
@@kevinr5921 I got it from a local vender called Racing Consultant Agency. It's really hard to find a lip for the 06 sports bumper cause the older ones don't fit. I saw some on Walmart. They sell 3rd party vender things, and saw this same lip for sale.
It's honestly a gamble, some do, some don't. So the AUTO 03-07 G35 have the DE engine. This one tends to burn oil, but not many of them. Mine doesn't burn oil and I have any friends who's Gs don't burn oil either. But also have friends who so. The MANUAL 06-07 have the revup engine (05 might have it also, I cant remember off the top of my head), and that was supposed to fix the oil leak problem, but it didn't. So your best bet is to find a honest seller who knows the car well, and he'll let you know if it burns oil or not. Mine does time to time, but I get a oil change every 3k miles, so it's NBD. But yeh they fixed it in the G37. They don't burn oil. So if that's a concern for you, I'd get the G37.
Congrats on graduating and the Camry, that car will last you a while! Also for manual, it's not that hard to learn. I drove it a few times and got the hang of it real quick.
@@gthreers6929 I try my best to reply to every comment lol. I actually checked to make sure and currently I have 90mm for the bottom, but the Halo was kinda big so we had to drill into the housing. 80mm should be perfect

Kuldip Singh the halos I got from www.morimotohid.com/led-lighting.html, I have pics of how I did it on my IG (Omareo28), I should've made a video of the process but totally forgot. You just have to open the headlights, connect the halos using either glue or wire, and I believe splice into the headlights (I forgot, my friend did it for me). But i believe the instructions tell you how to wire them
Won't be terrible. I beat on mine nonstop and it's been nothing but reliable *knock on wood*. But it won't be as fun as a manual. People say it's ok cause there's a manual mode, but it's not the same. These cars are meant to be enjoyed as a manual. But if you drive alot in traffic and stuff like that, you'll enjoy the auto
Totally slipped my mind lol. My phone battery was dying so I was kind of in a rush. If you want, you can dm me on IG @omareo28 and I'll send you a video of it. I have subs now so can't see how it looks through the trunk, but you'll get an idea atleast
Nice review, Looks great especially the headlights, what did you use to paint the rims and grill? looks really good. I dont know if xou know much about exhausts i need to replace the stock one and dna motoring are pretty cheap so i dont know if i shoud trust them.
The grill I bought black. Someone was selling it and mine was cracked so I just bought a new one. For the wheels, I used 2 in 1 Rust-Oleum paint. I believe it's like $7 at Home Depot. Put a good amount of coats on and it'll look really good. For the exhuast, like I said in the video, mine is custom. I just took the resonator and muffler out and put a magnaflow muffler in. Also have test pipes. But that set you you saw in the video, it probably cost me less than $400. Don't get a eBay exhaust, those sound raspy. I'd say look around for someone parting out, sometimes you can find good deals, or else think about getting a custom one. Unless you want to drop like 1-2k in a named exhuast which isn't worth it imo.
Sebastian Reynoso Race Consultant Agency. They randomly got a shipment of lips that fit the sports bumper and I picked it up the same day. If your G doesn't have the sports bumper, then you can get one off eBay easily, if not have to find the specific one that's fits the bumper
Omar A yeah I have the sport package...sucks ass since the regular bumper lips are around $55 when the ones for the sport bumper are about double the price.....
I got it from Racing Consultant Agency. They randomly got a shipment in and I got it asap. It's hard finding a lip for the sports bumper. I'm not sure if they stocked more, but you can check their website
KpopNiDontStop it looks makes the stock wheels look after market. Rn mine are painted gold, but I'll probably go back to bronze once it warms up. I like the darker tone better
I'm pretty sure all the Gs come with Bluetooth calling. Unfortunately that's just for calling, not for music. If you want to play music via Bluetooth, you will need to either get a double din or get a FM transmitter. The FM transmitter, basically plugs into your cigarette lighter port or the one in the center console, and takes over a FM channel so you can play music. I wouldn't really recommend that just cause the quality won't be good and if you don't have a good radio signal, then the music will sound bad. You can get a cheap double din for like $100 and install that. That would be my recommendation.
Omar A eh that’s ok, gas is pretty cheap with everything going on and you said it cost like 45 to fill and my Grand Marquis takes 40 to fill it and it’s regular so when I heard that, doesn’t sound to bad in comparison
@@markcullen2870 rn it's not really bad. But a few years ago when gas was expensive, I was spending $50-70 on a full tank lol. But it hasn't been that high in years, and gas is pretty low rn cause of all the Corona stuff. So it shouldn't be too bad
Grem BF1 damn I didn't even know 06 models came with the actual keys instead if keyless. I know the 05 have a very similar interior but they have the actual key. Learn something new everyday lol
06 coupe with 120xxx miles is nowhere near worth $8,495. Max is 6.5k imo. 7k if its manual. I have less miles on my G, same year and it's worth $6500. The G37 is a perfect deal. Miles aren't too high, and the price is good. G37 are also more reliable, have a way better interior and are faster. I would highly suggest to get the G37, and not that G35
My review: If you don’t have auxiliary input or a straight piped exhaust you may end up in a mental institution trying to chase down rattles and squeaks
Check out my other video, I have a exhaust clip. Can make them very loud, but loud isn't always better tbh. Tends to get annoying. Have to do it properly
Fast in today's time, no. It only makes around 250 hp. Many modern sedans are making 300hp these days, so unless you race something super slow, odds are you won't win. It was fast for it's time being a 13+ year old car, but if your looking for something to race and gap everyone, this isn't the car for that unfortunately
I looked for months for a clean manual, couldn't find anything, needed a car badly for work so unfortunately had to go with the auto. Trying to find a manual G37 rn and sell this G
Noting wrong with it. It's just not as fun as a manual. Auto is great when you're in traffic, but when you want to rip it and have fun, it just doesn't feel the same
I remember watching this video 4 years ago before I bought my G. Since then I've manual swapped it, put in a black interior, and done a lot of other suspension and performance mods. Nice trip down memory lane watching this.

Most likely I will have to drive both to see which one is most to my liking. Thank you so much!
@@DarkKnight-ko8lq np, best of luck man
looking back at this video you are talking about how expensive gas was kills me cause my g35 coupe fills up for 65. lord how i wish it was still 45 to fill haha but this car is the best car i could have bought i have seen these videos including yours since I was a sophomore and i bought my 04 coupe manual aero package for only 7k before the prices skyrocketed this year. super reliable, timeless look and the smooth power 10/10 recommend.
On to bigger things
just got a 2006 Infiniti g35 coupe ! this review definitely encouraged me to get one .. so far loving it !
Glad the review helped and happy you're enjoying it. They're really nice cars 😁
But besides that, only some small differences here and there
Good review I’m glad you went in detail with the interior
Thank you! I tried to my best to cover everything. I hate watching reviews where people don't cover all the details, so wanted to make sure I got everything possible.
Omar A no problem
+Omar A oh ya for a first car u have an absolute beauty and the horsepower is pretty damn good in my opinion.
Deftones 26 thank you, and yeh, it's not crazy fast, but not crazy slow either. Just enough to have fun.
I’m getting my g35 tommrow and vq helped me so much to fall in love with this car
Hope it went well bro!
Great video. My brother is going to buy a G35 Coupe soon and this really helped.

a few years later and there is still not much reviews about this car . this was a great review bro !
Thank you, I appreciate it! That was one of the main reasons why I made it. Hot car on the used market right now. Just wanted to help others
Dope G brotha!!! Good review!!!
Thank you!!!
I have a video of my new wheels too if you would like to check that out.
this is my dream car i am 14 and will start saving money and get a job when i can

@@Collin_Nicholas for sure bro. That'd be awesome
I Like The Rear Diffuser & The Front Lip
Thanks man. Small things like those really change the whole look of the car

Glad you liked it. It was called "Isimple aux". I got it from Best Buy. I believe this is the same model at Walmart, I'll post the link below.
I hear that the third gear in G cars can oftentimes break/go out, just keep that in mind if you get a manual

Best year model for automatic ? How to make sure it’s not taking up a lot of oil ?

Lol they’re not even expensive...

Quick question, how do you do when you have to get passed a speed bump?
My car isn't that low like the others (although I did lower it more than it is in this video). The high ones, you just have to turn the wheel and go over it slowly. Some it's fine, others unfortunately scrape my exhaust.
What’s that Bluetooth thing you had on the side where your leg was?
FLY FLASHY it's a isimple aux cord adapter. The G35 doesn't come with a aux cord, nor can you play music with the Bluetooth sync, so you have to get either a double din or aux cord set up. This was the cheapest route, like $50 and I've been using it for 2 years and have no complaints so far
How’d you mount it on your grille bro?? I wanna do mine like that
Zipties lol
Brooo you’re lyinngg your shits dope though!!! Keep it up man
How does it drive during snow season ?? Or you re just using it during summer

Question, please ... is the Infiniti G35 engine similar to the Nissan Z350 engine, or is there a difference?
Why do you prefer a manual if you don’t mind me asking?
More control over the car and more fun to drive. Nothing fun about just pushing a pedal. A manual car, even if it doesn’t have a lot of HP will always be more enjoyable to drive than a auto
Just got an 06 G yesterday !! 🥰

whats the liquid coming out of the exhaust at the end clip? Is it oil?? Dope vid man, best review on utube
Thank you bro, appreciate it. I think it's just build up water condensation. If it was oil, I would've seen it over the pavement
Is a g35 coupe 06 136k for 5800$ a good price ?
I'd probably pay 5k, just cause the mileage is high. I'd make sure it doesn't burn oil and has been well kept. If it's super well maintained then yeh $5800, but honestly, I feel like the mileage is high for that much
Why would you prefer a manual and why didn’t you get one didn’t have any stock at that time ?
Daniel Juarez manual is just more fun to drive. Getting a automatic was probably one of the bigger mistakes I ever made. It's just so boring pressing the pedal and driving. With manual you can fully engage with the car and it's a whole different feel. My friend had a automatic G and he sold it for a manual G and he said it completely felt like a new car. I needed to buy a car asap cause I just started to work, and couldn't use my parents cars cause they needed it. I searched for a clean manual G for months but couldn't find one. If you are planning on buying one, I would highly suggest get a manual.
Where did you get that grill man or did you paint it or plastic dip it ?
I bought it off someone. It came painted black from the factory. Mine cracked so I just got from someone local. If you paint it, it's the same result. I painted the one I got with my car right away. There's pics of it on my IG@Omareo28
Omar A looks good man what about the lip where did you buy that I been thinking of getting one
@@kevinr5921 I got it from a local vender called Racing Consultant Agency. It's really hard to find a lip for the 06 sports bumper cause the older ones don't fit. I saw some on Walmart. They sell 3rd party vender things, and saw this same lip for sale.
Where did you get the halos? And how did you paint the headlights
Halos I got from Morimoto led lights. I opened up the housing, took the headlight out and painted the housing.
Wait does the 2006 g35 also burn oil? I heard it was every g35, and that it was fixed in the g37
How many miles are on your g? Thinking about getting a 06 with 123k miles
I bought it with 92k, currently it has 118k. As long as it's maintained well and doesn't drink oil, I'd say go for it

But i believe the instructions tell you how to wire them
Omar A Thank you for the information.
Kuldip Singh anytime, good luck with your build 😀
Wait so you recommend automatic or manual?
Manual. Way more fun to drive. Auto gets boring
I’m getting a automatic is it
Gonna be terrible compared to a manual
Won't be terrible. I beat on mine nonstop and it's been nothing but reliable *knock on wood*. But it won't be as fun as a manual. People say it's ok cause there's a manual mode, but it's not the same. These cars are meant to be enjoyed as a manual. But if you drive alot in traffic and stuff like that, you'll enjoy the auto
Why didnt you show the rear seat folding down when u pulled the clip in the trunk
Where did you buy your front lip from?
Sebastian Reynoso Race Consultant Agency. They randomly got a shipment of lips that fit the sports bumper and I picked it up the same day. If your G doesn't have the sports bumper, then you can get one off eBay easily, if not have to find the specific one that's fits the bumper
Omar A yeah I have the sport package...sucks ass since the regular bumper lips are around $55 when the ones for the sport bumper are about double the price.....
Sebastian Reynoso yeh I hate it too. Had to pay $110 for mine.
What type of exhaust you got on your g ?
Megan racing resonated test pipes (wouldn't recommend, the flex pipe breaks), and a dual out let and inlet magnaflow muffler.
$45 for a fill up is not bad at all fill ups cost $70-$80 easily it’s better if you fill up when you have about half a tank
It's $45 when gas is cheap. Easily goes up to $60+ when gas is in the higher side
What did you use to spray the rims??
Rust-Oleums 2 in 1, (paint +primer). Then followed up with clear coat
Do you have the oil consumption problem?
Luckily no. I get a oil change every 3k miles. Time to time I'll notice it a little lower than usual, but most of the time it's fine.
Just sold my auto sedan yestoday pickin up a manual coupe tmw
Oh man, that's going to be way more fun. Really want to sell mine for a manual coupe also soon 🙏
Hey how did you do your headlights like that ?
Please help that looks sick
Headlights are stock. Opened them up, painted the housing black, and added halos
I’m picking one up for $3,500. it has 160k do you think it a good deal?
With 160k, I'd try to talk them down a little tbh. I'd pay around 3k. Make sure it doesn't burn oil. That's the biggest issue with these cars.
Omar A thank you!!
@@Issacm1980 np, best of luck bro
hell no ... you probably bought it...but I wouldnt of given more than 2200 for those many miles and year ...3500 if it was an 07 with like 100k miles
i see guys listing 03-05 for 4-6k ...they are high off their rocker or think people are that dumb to pay so much for a 15 year old car
Sounds sick
Hey can you plz tell me wear you got your front lip from
I got it from Racing Consultant Agency. They randomly got a shipment in and I got it asap. It's hard finding a lip for the sports bumper. I'm not sure if they stocked more, but you can check their website
I have an o6 coupe as well and I also plasti dipped my rims the same gold LOL.
KpopNiDontStop it looks makes the stock wheels look after market. Rn mine are painted gold, but I'll probably go back to bronze once it warms up. I like the darker tone better
What kind of gold is this?
Omar A did you sand your rims when you painted them? If so what grit did you use I have a 07 g35 coupe and wanna paint the rims
Mess with the EQ to boost the bass, this thing is better then the jbl system in my Camry
Yeh I turned it up all the way, but I like the heavy bass lol. Once I get the subs, it completely changed how I listen to music in the car
Can you explain to me how to get Bluetooth into the car please?
I'm pretty sure all the Gs come with Bluetooth calling. Unfortunately that's just for calling, not for music. If you want to play music via Bluetooth, you will need to either get a double din or get a FM transmitter. The FM transmitter, basically plugs into your cigarette lighter port or the one in the center console, and takes over a FM channel so you can play music. I wouldn't really recommend that just cause the quality won't be good and if you don't have a good radio signal, then the music will sound bad. You can get a cheap double din for like $100 and install that. That would be my recommendation.
I like your trunk. Where can I get it?
It's a carbon fiber trunk, called Mastergrade. They don't make them anymore, so they're very hard to find.
It’s automatic?
Also where did you get the gold for the rims
It's just Rust-Oleums paint. I used 2 in 1 with primer, and then sealed it with clear coat
I rly want this as a first car, does it take premium gas, I hope not
It does unfortunately. You can put regular, but it's a risk I wouldn't take. Car won't run properly
Omar A Yea, nothing was bad as my older brothers truck which is like 80 to fill
I think I have a later model of the 06 G35 because mine still has a key with the fob. I don't have the keyless entry option lol damn!
Grem BF1 damn I didn't even know 06 models came with the actual keys instead if keyless. I know the 05 have a very similar interior but they have the actual key. Learn something new everyday lol
Like the trunk
Thank you! Was a very rare trunk. I’ve only see a few people who had it
How tall are you bro I’m 5’11 dont know if I’d fit in one
5’8. You’ll be fine. Just gotta put the seat back a little. It’s a big car
Why is it better to get one of these manual?
Just more fun to drive. Auto gets boring cause of the "lack of driver engagement"
I’m 16 looking to get one of these for my first car do you think an 06 g35 with 123,684 miles for 8,495 is a good deal
And I also see a g37 with 97k miles for 9k is that a good deal
06 coupe with 120xxx miles is nowhere near worth $8,495. Max is 6.5k imo. 7k if its manual. I have less miles on my G, same year and it's worth $6500. The G37 is a perfect deal. Miles aren't too high, and the price is good. G37 are also more reliable, have a way better interior and are faster. I would highly suggest to get the G37, and not that G35
My review: If you don’t have auxiliary input or a straight piped exhaust you may end up in a mental institution trying to chase down rattles and squeaks
I agree. I need a loud car or else I’ll go insane lol
Are you still selling this?
Sold it last year unfortunately
A link to the halo lights u have?
www.morimotohid.com/led-lighting.html
I had those rims but i have the 05 6 spokes chrome there cheaper to replace and lighter 17 inch
I got new ones, if you check my most recent video, they're on there
Good video my child
Thank you Papi 🙏
Good review
Thank you!
Sorry for the late response, I didn't get notification
Can you make this car loud ?
Check out my other video, I have a exhaust clip. Can make them very loud, but loud isn't always better tbh. Tends to get annoying. Have to do it properly
Bottom line I’m dropping 5k on one. Is it fast?
Fast in today's time, no. It only makes around 250 hp. Many modern sedans are making 300hp these days, so unless you race something super slow, odds are you won't win. It was fast for it's time being a 13+ year old car, but if your looking for something to race and gap everyone, this isn't the car for that unfortunately
Biggest jaw drop when I seen that this shit was automatic
I looked for months for a clean manual, couldn't find anything, needed a car badly for work so unfortunately had to go with the auto. Trying to find a manual G37 rn and sell this G
What would guess the MPG?
I'm going to say around 15, but I have a pretty heavy foot, so it's always less lol. I can get around 300 on a full tank of I drive conservatively
Put that same sticker on the other side too make it look better
I ended up painting the paint chip, so it's all good lol. I'll post a little update video soon
What's wrong with automatic
Noting wrong with it. It's just not as fun as a manual. Auto is great when you're in traffic, but when you want to rip it and have fun, it just doesn't feel the same
