"Fatal Illusion" might be the most underrated Megadeth song of all time.

Its actually the song that got me into Megadeth. Only because it was on the Watch Dogs 2 Soundtrack together with Turbo Lover from Judas Priest. Both killer songs and one of my faves. And youre totally right, totally underrated.

Fu.. Without a doubt two vinyls to break your neck......both full of some surprisingly good riffs....and by this I mean that they have been in the business for many years and sometimes good ideas run out. This is not the case!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Your work is impressive dude!!!!

Scrap those three, throw in an instrumental track, another thrash song like Bone and Lords of Summer and it would've easily been the best Metallica album since 88.

Nice video! Hardwired is so underrated in my opinion. It’s not their best album, but it has a lot of good songs on it and especially Spit Out the Bone which was Metallica’s best song since The Black Album. And Dystopia is a great album, and it was a return to form for Megadeth. I like both of these albums a lot 🤘

Mustaine has always written more complex, twisty 5:04 riffs, while Hetfield tends to focus more on brutish caveman riffs. Frankly, I like both.

The answer’s simple. Both the G.O.A.T. regardless, so stop fighting y’all! We should be glad that both bands are still making awesome music!
It used to get to me as I like them both equally. But now, I actually think the debate is great for both bands. It definitely keeps Megadeth in the discussion, which is great since they're a smaller band. It also encourages a great discussion or rad videos like this one.

Both of these albums are killer! In my honest opinion I believe Dystopia tops Hardwired. I find myself skipping a song or two in Hardwired while Dystopia is a full play through for me.

Hard one here id say hardwired takes the win although both are good but i think spit out the bone should have been included, its probably one of the best songs on the album.
I've never heard the whole of Dystopia, but Conquer or Die completely massacres any Hardwired song
to me, besides peace sells and R.I.P, dystopia is their best album without a doubt, so many killer tracks and lyrics, it also has a darker atmosphere... you should listen to the whole album
Sounds like something off of Countdown to Extinction, but indeed it's the only mildly interesting riff in the whole video. Without the two big names attached to the albums, I bet no one would give a flying f about this tired, formulaic stuff. Not a single trace of balls in sight, just playing it safe.
@@xijinping3894 I agree. Being a huge megadeth fan, I can say dystopia is surely at top 5 or 6 in their whole discography. TSTDTD is also good but not even close to dystopia imo. Hell of a thrash album.

I wish EVERY RIFF from every song was played on here. Just a clip of it of course because some of the Killer Riffs from each album are missing and worth a listen. It would be like him playing DAMAGE INC. without playing that MID RIFF in the song that Blows your mind away and that Kerry King admitted he is jealous he didn't write. Both are good Albums and I love Metallica BUT I gotta give Megadeth this one. I cannot stand how Metallica has watered down their TONE over years. If you are wondering what I mean by that, go listen to And Justice For All with the bass high and the volume completely up to hear those crunches and Chomps.

While i have preference for Dystopia there's no denying Hardwired kick ass too and this time both albums are at the same level 👌🏼
