- This Sunday I can present to you the full and super exciting DRIVE & SOUND test with a 2012 Nissan GTR delivering around 560 hp through a revised exhaust system. My special thanks, once again, go to ECC-Rent in Darmstadt (www.ecc-rent.de) that provided this car for our intensive road test and video shoots, awesome! This particular GTR has the stock engine setup but features a Y-Pipe and a very loud "Little Exhaust" stainless steel ESD. Honestly this is one of the first cars that I was a bit scared to put my foot all the way down, as acceleration and pull-through are just amazing. Even compared to a recent SL63 or a RS6 with similar power there is just no vehicle I tested so far that can beat this GTR. Mr Kruger Totally different cars, the AMG GT has style, sound and quality, but the Nissan seems to be of another world once it comes to performance and pull through.

What a car this thing... It's sad to now that it will soon be replaced, because to me this is a legend. I will never forget what Nissan did with the Nissan GT-R "R35" !

How can you get to drive so many different cars. Not just any cars either some that cost £100.000 plus and alot more. Do you just contact car dealerships and ask to borrow a certain car to do a review? I always view and like as many of your videos as i can automann so keep them coming. 😎
Our channel size of course helps to ask for cars from manufacturers and other companies as car rental companies or tuners.

This 2012 GTR was 570 HP stock?? Current GTR's are rated at 545 HP (2015-2016). :) Is this a "Euro-spec GTR"? :)

Is it a practical car in your opinion? Is it easy to live with everyday?
Yeah, it has a great everyday usability....on pair with a 991 Turbo. Fuel economy is also ok if you drive calm.

It's a twin-turbo not Bi-turbo
There is literaly no difference between the two.
JanusPrime Nope there is a difference in the configuration, Twin turbo means turbos can sit next to each other.
Bi-turbo means that each turbo is located on opposite ends of the motor.
Also : Bi-turbo configuration, there is one small turbo for low RPMs and a bigger one for high RPMs, while in Twin turbo they're equally big and they spool nearly at the same time.

This is the 2012 model version, so it is 3.7 sec, newer versions are the ones that drop below the 3 second mark
+ MrGonca89 you're wrong. The earlier models did it in 3.5 with launch control, then more and more power was added and subsequently the car was faster

Im not a fan of this car, mainly being that it doesn't resemble anything from the previous generation's of the skyline, they went more to a more Supercar look that having the traditional skyline look, even the R34 kept that look but after that RIP old Style skyline body
