I know five mentors and four of them start trading between 2018-19 and they were profitable two years ago. And for me. I am trading a year and two months and I'm profitable (25k account). It is not about time it is about what you did. If you deeply listen to them, they become profitable when they got discipline, if you do enough you will get there.

It takes 2-4 years to become profitable, if you have the right strategy.
You could easily spend 2-4 years learning a bad strategy and trying to make it work.
Without prop trading flourish around 2020 onwards most of them would not be able to be full time trader

Isn't about time, it's about "access" to the A+ setups and strategies from already rich mentors. You can't sum all the years of struggle, in average after find the right mentir, strategy and setups the pros take 3/6months to deeply comprehend the market.

I like this content as its very practicable. thanks for this Money engineer. If i saw this at the beginning of my journey 3 years ago, I would have been having the right kind of expectations. Instead I saw content of people claiming it took them 1 year, 1.5 years etc, although this is possible, but it is very exceptional to have these. I have come to understand that real money is usually made only from 3, to 3.5 to 4 years, sometimes no matter how hard you work, it usually will still take this long.... So much fake gurus online claiming things and they are all lies. Thanks for this content, it makes me feel I am not alone despite the great work put in, I am only beginning to figure some consistency now after 3 years and yet not making money yet.

You need not more than a year to have an edge, i promise you.
Your ability to follow through with your strategy and submit to your risk management plan. Most of those that last m more than a year are those that got greedy. They had to be reminded several times to respect risk management, Trading humbles the haughty.
So once again, your ability to submit to proper risk management and a 60% edge in the market gets you to become profitable. I learnt the hard way. Iv been in for 6 months intensely. Technical Analysis is the easiest, trust me.

Need minimum 3 years
My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to take risks. Saving is great but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to Samantha Jack, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
