- Apologies, gentlemen, this is a reupload as for some reason RUclips cut 18 mnutes off the video. Maybe it's due to my shitty laptop, idk haha.
Poor old Dixie, she appears consistently throughout season 1 until episode 15 hits, which is a double edged sword for Dixie - this is her one spotlight episode but her appearances get even more rare from there until the end of the show.
But hey, at least you didn't get completely trashed like Swanky Kong and Wrinkly Kong.
I like how in the last episode Dixie doesn't get a montage but Eddie The Mean Ol' Yeti does, I find that little tidbit quite amusing. This show seems to hate her.
Said it before and I'll say it again, the DKC2 side of this show REALLY got screwed over. It's especially notable for Dixie, considering she was *one of the main characters* of said game, unlike Skurvy who was just based on the Kannon enemy (but at least he was the star of basically every episode he was in, unlike Dixie who relied on the existence of every other character in the show to make any kind of appearance in the background, she's barely even part of the main group with how infrequently she appears alongside everyone else). Maybe if the show got a season 3, they could have actually done something with her...
If they did make a season 3, maybe they would have brought kiddie or someone
That would have at least gave Dixie something to do
Yeah, the sequels had little impact, only so much from DKC2 appears and there is not a single trace of DKC3. (Unless Baby Kong is considered an adaption of Kiddy)
What the actual hell was up with her eyes in season 1? Unlike every other character, her pupils got big when she was surprised as opposed to shrinking

So she appears in 16 of the show's 40 episodes. Not too bad really. Had she appeared in just 4 more episodes she would've appeared in half the whole series. So I wouldn't say the series entirely screwed her over as a character. At least it allowed her to be a character on it. Which is more than what can be said for Wrinkly, Swanky, Kiddy, Tiny, and Chunky. I guess the show felt they weren't really important which they technically weren't. But I like Dixie in the show honestly.
