Haha as a manager at Chick-fil-A I can tell you it is really all about what time you go/who's working. If it's been really busy there is no way you could get a quesadilla since the grill they would use to make it is the same as the one for making the grilled filets/nuggets. The cooking cycle is like 5 minutes, plus you couldn't cook raw chicken and a quesadilla at the same time. Since corporate expects us to get food out in 2 minutes, it would throw off the whole operation. Same with the taco sandwich, usually the person who preps all the produce does it early in the morning and since CFA has very strict rules about who can prep produce, there is a chance they just didn't have anyone trained to cut the tomatoes and lettuce.. When it comes to the milkshakes or anything with ice cream, it's just a huge pain in the butt. If you ask them to mix anything besides what it's on the menu it can be hard since all the things on the menu have precise measurements. The Powerade and HiC for example is much more liquid-y than any of the other milkshakes so trying to hand spin it could be a disaster. Whenever we have milkshakes with more liquid they tend to explode everywhere..think about it being the middle of lunch rush and suddenly there is milkshake everywhere and you have to stop everything to clean it up. Maybe if it was middle of the afternoon or after the dinner rush you all would have a better chance of getting the secret menu items. One other thing, the "straw hack" is not an official hack, just a genius of our customers. If you notice, the tabs on the box are labeled "S" "N" and "O" for strips, nuggets, and other (usually chicken minis). The labels are just an extra way of having the kitchen confirm for the customer that they are getting the correct item. Oh and anything "frosted" just means that we add ice cream, there is no special ice crushing machine. :)
So, it didn't make the edit but this Chick Fil A was surrounded by people dressed in suits so I think it was a big training day or something. Maybe that's why they said no to so many things!
As a fellow team leader I agree! It just depends on whose working and what they will do to please a customer. Some of my team leaders will say no to special items like that, but orders will agree to make or do it.
Actually, the “labels” on the menu tabs are for venting. For instance, when the nuggets, or strips come out of the fryer, you’re supposed to push the tab in on the back to help with venting so the box doesn’t get soggy!
I work at the CFA on the ga/fl line and we talked about it in training … you can get most of those requests but just know we will hate you but still smile.
Friendly Tips from Your Local Chick-fil-a Employee! 1) FROSTED MEANS MADE WITH ICEDREAM. We don’t blend with ice✨ 2) We can assemble the chicken egg and cheese biscuit for you. just add a sausage patty to it if you want the “barnyard” 3) Your best bet for the quesadilla is lunch time after the rush. 4) The toy substitution varies from location to location, most of the time is icedream. 5) The special frosted drinks can be tricky to ring up/blend for sanitary reasons. but if you’re okay mixing it yourself, it’s totally worth it! SECRET MENUE ITEMS MISSED: 1) Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit (ask for the regular chicken biscuit and add honey butter) 2) Spicy Grilled Chicken Sandwich/Club (ask for it like that, it is about a 7min wait, so yummy) 3) Fries, Hashbrowns, or Chicken Well Done. (makes it extra crispy and super duper fresh) 4) Mac & Cheese with crumbled Bacon 5) Grilled Cool Wrap Hack (you can change the chicken to be crispy, cold spicy grilled, or any kind you like. That’s all from me, hope this helps!🥰
Our Chick-fil-A took away so much stuff like no spicy breakfast, no well done orders, we can’t do spicy grills for a sandwich unless you work there and just ask someone to drop it for you or do it yourself :/ also the managers stopped us from doing stuff like the quesadillas and this girl even made fried pickles once 😂 but yeahhhh we can’t do that :(
grace mask but they shouldn’t have too?? lol it’s rude to expect fast food locations to make things that aren’t on the menu all the time.....it creates a lot of hassle and problems down the road
Erin Robinson ... I live in alabama and work at chick fil a and actually... we’re the same way. we don’t do most of these things either. idk why, but we really should. it’s sad... lol
As a Chick-fil-A employee, the reason they said no to most of these hacks, is because per corporate’s orders we are not allowed to do them due to contamination issues. For example, the machine used to make the frosted coffees is not allowed to touch apple juice or any soda.
Cheyenne Collins so far that I’ve learned these hacks are mostly done at the headquarters or other southern Chick-fil-A’s. So they probably do them but I haven’t heard anyone mentioning this why we don’t sell these because of cross contamination 🤷🏽♀️
Girls I used to work at chick fil a and the BEST thing ever is a chick filatte. This is coffee with ice cream and 2 pumps of chocolate and some shake base... so amazing!!!!!
Just ask for a frosted coffee with 2 pumps of chocolate. They might not add shakebase for a guest because the portioning of the coffee would be off but you could ask for a splash. It’s so good with just the chocolate
As a chick fil a employee I cringed during some parts of this video. One thing being the frosted coffee is not made with ice and coffee it is a blended frozen coffee beverage made simply with ice cream and the cold brew coffee. Another thing is there are so many other hacks I've seen way more frequently than alot of these (most of these I've never heard of in my almost a year working at my location in tampa, florida). One being the frosted lemonade with either a splash of Hic or a splash of powerade, both are pretty good. The only thing with those is as some others have said it's a pain in the butt to have to do alot of these things especially the desserts as it takes alot longer to make a dessert than it does to make a beverage, especially if the dessert is so intricate. Oh also I will mention about the breakfast "samples" some locations do them, I have seen that. At my location in particular (I work drive thru) what we do is we stop cooking breakfast at 10:30 but cease selling breakfast items by 10:45. Whatever we have left after that time we pop an item or two of our leftovers into guests bags. We call it Surprise and delight which is basically our way of going above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. So I would recommend going through the drive thru line around 10:45 if you want to have a chance at snagging free breakfast items but even then it's rare and I'm not even sure all locations will abide to this.
So here's the thing, if it is on the menu and your just adding or taking off yes they will make it. If it is off the menu, chicken quesadilla, the majority of locations won't make it, unless you work there and make it yourself. They do this so people don't go to multiple locations and say well this other store made this special thing for me. The reason grilled cheese doesn't work is because the press grill they had, the company got rid of. The toy substitution has only ever been ice cream. I'm going to bet that alot of the drink/ice cream combos were recommended by employees that mixed it themselves and don't order it. We use to mix a lot of things that were so good but you couldnt order like sweet tea and ice cream. I love you videos but I knew a lot of these weren't going to work. From a former employee of 6 years.
I worked at CFA and we experimented in mixing and making a lot of things, but we made them ourselves and had round about ways to ring them up based on what we used. We never made those things for costumers because we weren't allowed to because they weren't 'menu' items. I'm sorry if you took my comment in a mean way, I was just trying to explain why some of these items didn't work
I don't think she took it mean she was just goofing around. And yes most employees have their own special menus that they have played around with but they aren't actually on a menu at any restaurant
Lol Sonics Drive In is the place to go if you want to customize food. Ex: jalapeño chocolate Shake, chili cheese dog with no bun (why?), etc. I worked there and I swear there’s no limit.
I work there and we had a lady ask for a blast with no ice cream and my manager explained to her we can’t do that lmao then she was like “I just want the candy” and we charged her $4 for half a cup of candy 😂 she was so high
One time a girl ordered a banana (peeled) with chocolate on it. The young guy who took it could hardly keep a straight face lol. And people have ordered chili cheese coneys with no hotdog.
You should do like a Dunkin Donuts vs Krispy Creme episode or do their hacks in seperate episodes!! Honestly loving the Loryn *The Goddess* Powell and Erin *The Creative* Robinson combo it's the best RUclips hack of them all!!
Hey, current CFA manger from Tennessee here! Here’s just some comments I have... from the inssiiddeeee... lol The Chicken, egg, and cheese is definitely on the menu! For that barnyard biscuit, just order a chicken, egg, and cheese and then add a piece of sausage! Bacon and sausage are recognized as additional items in our system, so it is a lot easier to add and subtract them from sandwiches. My local also only gives ice cream for toys! Cup or come. The holes in the nugget container is actually to mark what food item is in the box, but that hack is better! 😂 Thank you so much for specifying that each Chick-fil-a is individually owned and can do different things that others can’t! I miss the Cookie Sundae SO MUCH! Honestly, each locals ability to make special requests depends on the managers there. Some things are actually health code violations! We wouldn’t have been able to make a lot of those special drinks either! But every CFA is different in that regard
They were probably super annoyed by the large number of special requests and just told you no to hurry your order up, so they could get to other customers. I would’ve gone to this location on different days OR to multiple locations on the same day. However, the food service industry sucks, and workers aren’t paid enough to go along with shenanigans that could get them fired... so I suspect you‘d hear a lot of the same answers, either way.
A lot of it really has to do with consistency, quality, food cost, and. In some cases cross contamination. For example, the grills where the grilled cheese would be made cannot have anything with gluten put on it due to grilled items being a gluten free item on the menu... Some restaurants are equipped with a different set up and may be able to do that for you. Most of it just has to do with not being able to,properly ring up the item and account for the food you're using. There is a limit to customization. At some, point the operator is losing money on crazy items.
Lol, no not at all. It was super slow and we weren't trying to rush her. CFA has over 2,000 locations that are independently owned, while we are a corporation - every single owner can have special items. That does not mean every CFA is allowed or capable of making them. People tend to think it's all corporate when in reality, every single location is different. I would never say no to someone if we can do it, but if we can't - we can't.
@@kendrahouck984 One time I tried to order a frosted coffee with vanilla, and the lady said they didn't have a vanilla frosted coffee. Like you have vanilla for the iced coffee, but not the frosted? She acted like I was dumb for even asking for it lol
I work at Chick-fil-A... the one you called a barnyard biscuit we will make at our location. If you ask for something added to your biscuit we can do any of it. Also frosted coffee is ice cream and coffee..
I would get chicken nuggets and hashbrowns at breakfast because it was all I was going to eat that day and didn't want to pay for the little biscuits and nuggets
When ordering fries ask for them “well done” this makes them crispier, you can also say “well done times 1,2,3,etc.” which gets crispier the higher the number!! :)
The frosted coffee is actually ice dream and coffee, you can also add oreo to any milkshake or frosted drink, and ask for a frosted lemonade with another drink, and most locations will do that if they’re not super busy, the milkshake is a different consistency I worked at Chick-fil-A, they never tell us about how to deal with “secret menu” stuff, so I think most of us just really don’t know how to do those hacks, but I would definitely have done most of the drink things, getting the kitchen to do more is harder
The hole actually isn’t for the straws; it’s to mark them and let the baggers know what is inside. (Which is why they say nuggets, strips other) The “wet nuggets” you can ask for a empty salad bowl and it makes it easier to shake them up with no mess! The frosted apple juice sounds yummy🥰
I worked at chickfila the sample breakfast thing is true if we have a lot of extra minis. We just put them in the bags/ on the trays as a surprise until we run out.
Yes chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit is a regular menu item, but you could order that and just ask them to add sausage to it to make the barnyard biscuit. The frosted coffee is actually made with the ice cream, it's so good.
I work at Chick-fil-A In FL and a lot of the stores won’t do the weird things because it takes so much time! Also frosted drinks are made with ice cream not ice :) You have to order the grilled cheese as a bun with cheese melted on it and you can add and remove from all menu items!
So i use to work at CFA and the frosted coffee (and they have a frosted lemonade too) it’s actually coffee or lemonade with vanilla soft serve ice cream
Looks by Sarah exactly what I was saying in my head 😂 whenever costumers come in and ask for a “frozen lemonade” or “frozen coffee” I feel the need to explain what it is cause sometimes costumers are surprised when the taste vanilla ice cream and lemonade 😂 some hate it. It’s FROSTED with ice cream people!! Lol
Looks by Sarah i work at chick fil a. we also do a frosted strawberry lemonade. ((it’s a good substitute for a strawberry milkshake, as we don’t have strawberry icecream!))
I work at chick-fil-a and my top three are either the veggie wrap (cool wrap with no chicken, add corn and beans and tomatoes), the cool wrap with no chicken but as it comes and order a 2 strip on the side and wrap it yourself for a crunchy wrap, or the frosted strawberry lemonade (2 pumps of strawberry before the lemonade and then make it like normal).
Also has any chick-fil-a employee ever tried the fry bowl? They wouldnt make it for any guest but if you have a friend in the kitchen, ask for a large fry in a salad bowl with a fillet cut up on top covered in shredded cheese, bacon bits, and corn and beans, left in the warmer to melt the cheese, then cover in the salad dressing of your choice. 10/10
CFA employee here! This was fun to watch! Samples: come around 10:40 - 11 AM; you’re more likely to get a sample. Not guaranteed. Luck of the draw. Quesadilla: Not a hack most stores do. Barnyard Breakfast: order a chicken egg + cheese (CEC) with sausage. Cheaper than buying an actual breakfast filet. Frosted Coffee: you could also make it chocolate by adding syrup pumps. (But, it’s an up charge). Luckily, the iced mocha tasted basically the same. Apple Juice: Its organic, people. It’s no Motts! 😖 Bonus: if you love CFA deluxes, you can order a chicken biscuit + sub white bun + LT + cheese. Voilà! And, yeah, we do say something along the lines of “try another Chick-fil-A.” XD
I work at chick fil a and the chicken, egg & cheese biscuit is on the menu.. Also the frosted coffee is made with ice cream and coffee base mixed together (next time you get it, add one pump of vanilla) and that is also on the menu
I work at Chick-fil-A, and the "wet nugget: hack works better with grilled nuggets because it'll be in a container with a lid (and you could request a grilled nugget box with regular nuggets). We have one Ice Cream machine and it provides our Vanilla Icedream for all frosted beverages, shakes, and ice cream dishes. The reason we don't (and sometimes can't) mix other drinks with our ice dream is because of food safety. Even if employees want to try hacks we have to be careful on which ones we do haha And yes, the Chicken Egg and Cheese biscuit IS a menu item. :)
1. That sausage, egg, cbeese, and chicken biscuit....just order a chicken egg and cheese biscuit add sausage... That can be made. 2. The chicken egg and cheese biscuit IS a menu item. It also exists on on a bagel and muffin 3. The breakfast filettes are smaller than the regular lunch ones so that they fit better on the sandwiches. A regular lunch one wouldn't fit on the breakfast bread. 4. Fosted coffe with Oreo is a total yes. I make it all the time for myself haha. 5. Grilled cheeses and quesdillas are not supossed to be made unless It's a "local item" due to cross contamination. Some frnchises are set up to be able to do those items without cross contaminating the grill while others can't. The grill is used for the gluten free grilled items. So gluten cant be put on that grill. 5. The kids toy can only be subbed foe ice dream. There are some places that will do,somthing different like a fry if a kid has a dairy allergy or something. 6. That straw/box hack is awesome but NOT what the hole is made for. Several things go in those boxes so the kitchen pushes in those buttons so baggers know if theres strips, nuggets, or spicy in the box. Most of these are BS lol. Most of these were Origionally made by team members and made it onto the internet. There isnt a real way to ensure quality of the item and account foe food costs for most of these hacks which is why a lot,of restaurants wont do,them.
At 5:00 i was like Americans: oh I've never seen a frosted coffee before. So cool!!! Canadians: whats a frosted coffee. I only know of an iced cap from tim hortens Where my fellow canadians at
3:31 I work at chick fil a I’m pretty sure they’ll make that for you, literally just ask for a sausage egg cheese biscuit and tell them to add chicken 😂
Shakes are made with- shake base(milk), ice cream, and the flavor you choose unless it’s vanilla. The frosted ones are the flavor and ice cream(no shake base)
Speaking as a chick fil a employee I can tell you that the frosted drinks are made with ice cream and also to get a grilled cheese just ask for a toasted bun with cheese on it. Also two real hidden menu items are 1. Frosted sunrise- orange juice instead of lemonade with ice cream 2. Frosted strawberry lemonade- lemonade and strawberry mix from the strawberry milkshake with ice cream.
The chicken egg and cheese biscuit is on the menu actually! It normally comes on a bagel but you can ask for a biscuit if you prefer it. I’ve been working at my local chick fil a for 10 months now! Also the frosted coffee is our iced coffee base blended with vanilla ice cream! A lot of people have done it with the Oreos lately, and it’s delicious. :) And the grilled cheese I’ve done before on our multi grain bun with pepper jack cheese since it’s my favorite and it’s so good. They don’t mind doing it at mine, it just depends on the location you go to.
Erin Robinson definitely try it!! I’ve also heard asking for chocolate syrup in it is good too but I’m not a super big chocolate person so I’ve yet to check that out!!
1. The sample items: when there is extra breakfast food sometimes the employees randomly give it to customers or just put it in their bags as like a “happy surprise” some cfa’s don’t do it because some might expect it and a lot of the times their isn’t much left over or none at all because most things are made to order
I work at Chick-fil-A and we actually use ice cream to make a frosted coffee and also the holes in the box are to mark what is in the box so we don’t give the wrong thing 🤣 and we do sometimes do special requests but we can’t mix cookies in because it will break our machine and some of the stuff is just hard to figure out how to ring up
I worked at Petco when I was a teen, Chick Fil A was in the same parking lot and opened at 6:30am.. I started work usually around 5 am. I went to Chick Fil A almost everyday. Their breakfast burritos are THE BEST!
any other cfa employee getting low key triggered watching this? like there’s so many rules we have and I find it unfair that they’re acting like it was the locations fault for not going along with the “hacks”
yeah like we can’t serve certain things because they’re not on our menu. idek what store would do a cookie sundae. like i feel like they were coming after us bc the internet has come up with stupid concoctions and not every store can do that by policy
I used to work at CFA and we actually used to get a frosted coffee with Oreo and chocolate with whipped cream on top. The frosted coffee is actually made with ice cream and coffee
Sup, Assistant Manager from a VA CFA. I’ve got a couple of corrections and suggestions! Plus some future products... -For breakfast item we do technically do free samples by 10:30, but most of the time will give it out randomly to already paying customers. We don’t want to make it a thing that people will come in and ask for free food. -Frosted Drinks: Most CFAs will allow you to order a frosted lemonade and switch out the lem for your choice of soda or juice. We even serve a frosted Strawberry Lemonade. -For the love of god, if you are going to do “wet nuggets” please ask for a grilled nugget box. They can be completely sealed so that sauce does leak. -Custom Cool Wraps: Ask to add spicy grilled chicken, corn/beans, tomato, etc. -You can get chicken minis (only served at breakfast) all day if you order a catering tray. A small tray contains 30 minis, bring some friends...or pig out. -Custom Shakes: Popular combinations include chocolate CnC and Strawberry Chocolate. -If you don’t want the chicken that comes on the salad we will gladly make you a fresh one with any choice of available chicken. Every part of the salads is customizable. -Try the “Big Chick”: It basically like a Big Mac, but with original, spicy and grilled chicken. You have to assemble it yourself. -Don’t want a full salad? Ask for side salad and just add the ingredients you want. -Salsa: Ask for a side of corn and bean mix with a packet of breakfast salsa. Goes great with the spicy sandwich or fries. -UP COMING PRODUCTS: Key Lime Frosty and the fish sandwich start early spring 2019. Spicy strips and Mac and cheese are coming soon. The barbecue grilled sandwich comes back this summer. -Want free stuff? Download the CFA app, favorite all your local CFAs and watch the treats roll in. If you have any questions or your CFA is being stingy feel free to ask and I’ll give you tips to get around it.
hiii chick fil a employee here :)) just some notes for anyone interested in trying these 1. There are no samples. It’s simply left over breakfast, or “waste” as we say, that some locations decided to give away instead of just throwing it out. However some locations, like mine, will continue to charge up until about 10:45 for left over breakfast. After that the food is discarded because the food is no longer consistent high quality. 2. Ive been working at chick fil a for 2 years and have never had anyone ask for a chicken quesadilla 😲. I however know if someone did ask we would unfortunately have to decline because there’s no way to charge for that unless you’re willing to pay full price for 2 regular chicken burritos. But like they said it would take a lot of time and since we don’t use microwaves the cheese would not melt in the correct way to hold it together. Clever idea though! 3. The chicken egg and cheese biscuit is in fact on our menu 😝 4. I’ve never heard anyone say barnyard biscuit but you can definitely get that. My location would assemble that for you upon request. It would simply be a chicken egg and cheese biscuit add sausage you could even add bacon if you want! 😄 5. The frosted coffee with Oreo is pretty good and very doable. You do however get charged extra for the Oreo. Lots of people like to add chocolate mixed in or swirled on top and whipped cream as well! 6. I have heard of people asking for a grilled cheese but most locations like mine do not make them. We do have an option to get just a regular bun so you could ask for that and for them to add cheese ,however, like the quesadilla it may not melt properly. 7. I’ve never heard of the chicken taco burger?? We unfortunately do not dice tomatoes or shred lettuce I believe because we don’t have the proper equipment for it, it would have to be done by hand and would take quite a bit of time. 8. Wet nuggets are so clever! If you plan on doing this it would be better to ask for a side salad bowl with a lid to shake the nuggets in! 9. At my location for our kids meals we do only offer ice cream instead of the toy however you can swap out the fries for Mac n cheese, fruit cup, or even applesauce. 10. I’ve seen many people do this with their boxes and think it’s very clever and useful! The purpose for the hole however is to mark if the box contains nuggets, strips, or hash browns (other) 😝 11. It would be pretty silly to ask for strips and buns instead of just getting 2 sandwich but like they said if someone is on a tight budget then hey go for it! 12. My location doesn’t offer those drink requests I believe mainly because there’s no way to charge for it I also don’t believe any of the locations in my area do those but I’m not 100% sure but some of the employees at my location have tested out pretty much all those combinations and some have turned out pretty good. On the bright side we do offer a frosted strawberry lemonade and frosted orange that are very refreshing! 13. We did use to offer the cookie sundae, it was cookie crumbs, chocolate, and some times whipped cream and cherry. I actually don’t know why they discontinued it but they brought back the brownie which is yummy if you ask for a kids cup of ice cream on the side 😛 I’m not speaking for all chick fil a restaurants and employees just me and my location :)) 🐔❤️ Also we’re not trained to just say no 😂 we truly try to please everyone with their request but unfortunately we can’t offer them all😪 very fun video though!
For number 12 you can just charge them for a frosted lemonade and open comment the beverage of choice and it would be considered “extra” since the lemonade costs more
Calista Yeah they could easily just charge for a milkshake since that’s basically what it would be but I’m assuming it’s like getting both a fountain drink and a milkshake for the price of one so they would probably want to up the price somehow. But yeah that was just my guess there’s probably a completely different reason as to why they don’t offer those,, it may just be because there’s not a high enough demand for them
I used to work at chick fil a. And at our store we would do some request. But a suggestion is fitting the winter time when they have the peppermint shake add the Oreos in with it, so good. And we would also make root beer floats with the ice cream. But for some of the desert requests we do give to customers not assembled because of the way we have to ring it up.
I work at cfa and the chicken egg and cheese is on the menu. Another hack that is amazing at cfa though is our frosted coffee but add crushed oreos and 3 pumps of chocolate mixed..... literally the best thing ever!!!
I worked at CFA for 6 years and made some WEIRD stuff for people, even in busy hours. It definitely depends on the stores, but one of my favorite things that I make myself still is scrambled eggs w/cheese (I know, not super weird). Or when I go for breakfast I get the chicken burrito with (diced) tomato and bacon. We also made ourselves some weird stuff because after eating the same stuff at work so much you get bored, lol. I used to get a grilled lunch filet on a regular bun with a piece of cheese and put ranch sauce or dressing on it.
In this situation it wouldn't make sense for them to give her a free gift or card since it is not their fault. If something was wrong with your food/an item was forgot etc they will sometimes give you a free gift or card depending on the location and who is working.
Haha I worked at CFA and I used to think the frosted coffee was made with ice too but its the same machine that you make the milkshakes with and its basically just a coffee milkshake! SOOO good & if you add chocolate AND oreos its AMAZING! Also we make a lot of custom idems at my CFA
I work at Chick-fil-A and, chicken, egg, and cheese biscuits and frosted coffee are on the menu, at least in the south. And people buy kids meals all the time and you're only supposed to switch the toy for an ice cream cup or cone. Some of the combinations they asked for we are not supped to do because we can't open the food/drink packaging.
All of the frosted drinks are made with Chick-fil-A’s ice dream. At the location I work at, we have done frosted fantas for employees which are good, at my store, if it isn’t busy, we may do that for customers too. And we have cookies and cream milkshakes with Oreos.
I have worked at Chick-fil-A for 5 years. The CEC biscuit is on the menu and you can order that and add sausage and they will assemble it for you. Our frosted beverages do not have ice in them. It is just the liquid base (I.e. lemonade or iced coffee) hand spun with ice cream. Every location will do a “grilled cheese” but sometimes you have to order it as a toasted bun with 2 slices of cheese and not call it a “grilled cheese” The cookie sundae was not in a milkshake; it was an ice cream cup with our cookie crumbles on top with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. You can still order this by ordering an ice cream cup with chocolate syrup and whipped cream (which we do for you) and then order a cookie on the side to crumble over the ice cream yourself.
My daughter is GF and she doesnt like the chicken egg scramble bowls. One day I asked if I could get a grilled chicken egg and cheese but in a bowl and it was so much better! They melted the American cheese on top and it had way more flavor!
As a cfa employee, I feel really bad for the food prep people that had to make all the special food 😖. There arent really any “special menu items” you can order stuff like spicy nuggets you just have to wait, at least at my location.
Haha yeah, I actually work for Chick-fil-a (on the East Coast) and we will definitely assemble that for you. People get chicken, egg, cheese, and bacon (or sausage) all the time! Chicken, egg, and cheese is definitely a button on our register, it just doesn't show on the actual menu. Same with getting any biscuit on a bagel or on a bun.
I work at a chickfila & we serve grilled cheese. the frosted coffee is coffee base with ice cream. I really recommend the frosted lemonade. The reakfast chicken filet is supposed to be small since its for breakfast. but you should def try frosted lemonade
I used to work at Chick-fil-a in Oregon and another frosted hack that you need to try is a frosted coffee with 2 pumps of chocolate syrup. It a lovely frosted mocha. As well as ask for lemonade with 1/4 soda water and you get fizzy lemonade. Also the grilled sandwich with bacon veggie style, meaning instead of a bun you get your sandwich wrapped in lettuce. And lastly, to respond to Loryn, you always make the special request, no matter what. At least in Oregon.
"The formula, the ions, the protons, the neutrons, and electrons" I think I just learned more about science from Loryn in about 4 seconds, then I do in an hour long biology class.
I work at Chick Fil A in Appleton Wisconsin. We are not trained to say try it at another location. But we do take special requests and we are able to do some of them but not all of them. Mainly with food and not the shakes.
Maybe that's why they said no to so many things!
oh yes for sure, a corporate visit could definitely effect their response!
@@andrewgreene2475 While yes the slots are for venting.. They are also used to label the boxes.
I work at the CFA on the ga/fl line and we talked about it in training … you can get most of those requests but just know we will hate you but still smile.
Yes!! 😂
Who else thinks we should do Taco Bell next?!?!
I Dooooo😄😊Now I'm In The Mood For Taco Bell
YES.
Yess please do Taco Bell next!!!
Taco bell is not what it was in the 80s and 90s.
Yes to Taco Bell and any restaurant in the area. You two are great together.
Friendly Tips from Your Local Chick-fil-a Employee!
1) FROSTED MEANS MADE WITH ICEDREAM. We don’t blend with ice✨
2) We can assemble the chicken egg and cheese biscuit for you. just add a sausage patty to it if you want the “barnyard”
3) Your best bet for the quesadilla is lunch time after the rush.
4) The toy substitution varies from location to location, most of the time is icedream.
5) The special frosted drinks can be tricky to ring up/blend for sanitary reasons. but if you’re okay mixing it yourself, it’s totally worth it!
SECRET MENUE ITEMS MISSED:
1) Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit (ask for the regular chicken biscuit and add honey butter)
2) Spicy Grilled Chicken Sandwich/Club (ask for it like that, it is about a 7min wait, so yummy)
3) Fries, Hashbrowns, or Chicken Well Done. (makes it extra crispy and super duper fresh)
4) Mac & Cheese with crumbled Bacon
5) Grilled Cool Wrap Hack (you can change the chicken to be crispy, cold spicy grilled, or any kind you like.
That’s all from me, hope this helps!🥰
From another cfa worker from TN high fiveeee ✋🏼
Our Chick-fil-A took away so much stuff like no spicy breakfast, no well done orders, we can’t do spicy grills for a sandwich unless you work there and just ask someone to drop it for you or do it yourself :/ also the managers stopped us from doing stuff like the quesadillas and this girl even made fried pickles once 😂 but yeahhhh we can’t do that :(
SympliSam another hack: ask for a grilled nug bowl to shake your nugs/sauce in to avoid the mess
I never knew chick fil a sold Mac n cheese 😭😭
Please tell me WHY on God’s green earth you’d post this on a Sunday!!!!!!!! You tease!!! 😂😂😂
Trust me, I watched it this morning and am STARVING for it right now!
Erin Robinson I think this this the most common comment on this video lol...
Jacqueline Clipperton well ur lucky cuz we dont have chick fila in hawaii
Why not open Sunday …and #LGBTrights, too !!
4:45 I was the girl that said "oh yeah" 😂 I took your order! Ahhh. Thank you for being so sweet & kind. So glad you enjoyed :)
knightschica13 aww I hope she sees this
Hi!! How do you ask for that frosted coffee drink? I tried to order it one time and they had no idea what I was talking about 😩
knightschica13 my sister!!!!
Samantha Silva come ask me. I'll hook you up
knightschica13 How cool for you to see this video!! 😊
These LA cfa locations don’t know how to act. The cfas in the south would do all of this for you
The south does most food stuff the best, lets be real!
grace mask but they shouldn’t have too?? lol it’s rude to expect fast food locations to make things that aren’t on the menu all the time.....it creates a lot of hassle and problems down the road
Erin Robinson ... I live in alabama and work at chick fil a and actually... we’re the same way. we don’t do most of these things either. idk why, but we really should. it’s sad... lol
Yes they do! I live in Texas and they do it even when they are busy
And end it “ it was my pleasure”
As a Chick-fil-A employee, the reason they said no to most of these hacks, is because per corporate’s orders we are not allowed to do them due to contamination issues. For example, the machine used to make the frosted coffees is not allowed to touch apple juice or any soda.
Kristen Couture and she says the filet is small 😂😂😂. Thats the difference between a breakfast filet and a lunch/dinner one!
Um what about orange juice when we were doing the sunrise. What about frosted lemonade? Right thought but it’s not about contamination issues.
They make frosted coke tho
Cheyenne Collins so far that I’ve learned these hacks are mostly done at the headquarters or other southern
Chick-fil-A’s. So they probably do them but I haven’t heard anyone mentioning this why we don’t sell these because of cross contamination 🤷🏽♀️
It’s not because of cross contamination...Idk why they couldn’t have done a frosted hi-c/Powerade.
Girls I used to work at chick fil a and the BEST thing ever is a chick filatte. This is coffee with ice cream and 2 pumps of chocolate and some shake base... so amazing!!!!!
How should you order that
Just ask for a frosted coffee with 2 pumps of chocolate. They might not add shakebase for a guest because the portioning of the coffee would be off but you could ask for a splash. It’s so good with just the chocolate
Girl!!! I use to make that all the time when I worked there
I'm trying this❤
I love ur chanel sis
Ashton Pennington I was cringing also
Out here saving lives 🙌🏽 thanks for the tips lol
So, you're saying I need to get a real job and then these will work!?!?
I worked at CFA and we experimented in mixing and making a lot of things, but we made them ourselves and had round about ways to ring them up based on what we used. We never made those things for costumers because we weren't allowed to because they weren't 'menu' items. I'm sorry if you took my comment in a mean way, I was just trying to explain why some of these items didn't work
I don't think she took it mean she was just goofing around. And yes most employees have their own special menus that they have played around with but they aren't actually on a menu at any restaurant
the wrong lid on the frosted coffee has me dying lol
Emily Ferguson yes! I’m a CFA worker and this is right lol
Here’s just some comments I have... from the inssiiddeeee... lol
The
Chicken, egg, and cheese is definitely on the menu!
Thank you so much for specifying that each Chick-fil-a is individually owned and can do different things that others can’t!
I miss the Cookie Sundae SO MUCH!
Honestly, each locals ability to make special requests depends on the managers there. Some things are actually health code violations! We wouldn’t have been able to make a lot of those special drinks either! But every CFA is different in that regard
A frosted coffee is actually ice cream and coffee blended together. 😊 employee here
Jordan Hill THANK YOU THAT WAS BUGGING ME
Technically its ice dream 😂😂
Hey if you say my pleasure before the employee do you get free ice cream?
Cfa employees are sooo nice in the south, though. ATL cfa’s are where it’s at. Best customer service of any fast food restaurant chain.
5. A frosted coffee is ice cream mixed with coffee lol. You guys should also try it with chocolate 👌🏼
Two pumps of vanilla syrup is the bomb though lol.
That's my favorite.
@@kendrahouck984 One time I tried to order a frosted coffee with vanilla, and the lady said they didn't have a vanilla frosted coffee. Like you have vanilla for the iced coffee, but not the frosted? She acted like I was dumb for even asking for it lol
Frosted coffee +cookie crumbs from the cookies n cream shake + a hazelnut pump 👌🏻👌🏻
Chick-Fil-a is NOT authentic in California, you get the true stuff in Atlanta lol
I've had Atlanta Chick fil A and I AGREE!!
Gotta go to Hapeville at the OG dwarf house here in Georgia!
I heard CFA’s in CA were open on Sunday. Is this true ?
@@cchapstix you are so right! That's my favorite!
I live in Atlanta and I support this message
All you ex cfa workers know it’s ice dream, not ice cream smh 😂
Right? God
Lol right!
And the frosted coffee is ice dream and iced coffee there’s not ice machine or anything😭😂
You right you right
Yeah! Freaking ice dream!
I work at Chick-fil-A... the one you called a barnyard biscuit we will make at our location. If you ask for something added to your biscuit we can do any of it. Also frosted coffee is ice cream and coffee..
oh good!! I should have just ordered it straight up!
I would get chicken nuggets and hashbrowns at breakfast because it was all I was going to eat that day and didn't want to pay for the little biscuits and nuggets
Male genital health videos channel - over18 only CFA is literally a million times better than KFC 😂
When ordering fries ask for them “well done” this makes them crispier, you can also say “well done times 1,2,3,etc.” which gets crispier the higher the number!! :)
The frosted coffee is actually ice dream and coffee, you can also add oreo to any milkshake or frosted drink, and ask for a frosted lemonade with another drink, and most locations will do that if they’re not super busy, the milkshake is a different consistency
I worked at Chick-fil-A, they never tell us about how to deal with “secret menu” stuff, so I think most of us just really don’t know how to do those hacks, but I would definitely have done most of the drink things, getting the kitchen to do more is harder
Whatever it is, it's basically hard drugs.
Erin Robinson oh my god, I can’t believe you replied, I love you! But I agree, it’s addicting
The frosted coffee is their "ice dream" blended with the coffee. It's my FAVORITE!!!!!!
I worked at chickfila the sample breakfast thing is true if we have a lot of extra minis. We just put them in the bags/ on the trays as a surprise until we run out.
HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME CRAVE
CHICK-FIL-A ON A SUNDAY.
I AM SO SO SO SORRY!
Arturo Verduzco I was just thinking how dare Erin post this video on a Sunday 😂😂😂
Sam's has nuggets that are exact same as chick fil a so now you can have it on Sunday
IKR AHHH EVERYTIME I WANT CHICKFILA ITS FUCKING SUNDAY SKSKKSKSKS
I was thinking the same thing! Except I really want to go for breakfast in the morning!
Yes chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit is a regular menu item, but you could order that and just ask them to add sausage to it to make the barnyard biscuit. The frosted coffee is actually made with the ice cream, it's so good.
The winner...
and still Champion of my world...
Always my favorite video of the week!
I work at Chick-fil-A In FL and a lot of the stores won’t do the weird things because it takes so much time! Also frosted drinks are made with ice cream not ice :) You have to order the grilled cheese as a bun with cheese melted on it and you can add and remove from all menu items!
Lmao the “wet nuggets” are pretty much like boneless buffalo wings or any boneless wings
OMG I just had a CFA Frosted Coffee for the first time tonight! It was amazing!
So i use to work at CFA and the frosted coffee (and they have a frosted lemonade too) it’s actually coffee or lemonade with vanilla soft serve ice cream
Looks by Sarah we call that a spider drink. Any ice cream combo with soft drink. For eg:coke and ice cream. Raspberry with ice cream. Yummmmmmo.
@@gcqldrgirl those are best to get at Sonic they will pretty much mix anything you want in ice cream.
Ew it sounds gross tbh
Erin and Loryn never fail to me laugh!!
I bet the lady at the counter was just like “when is this girl going to stop asking questions 🙄😤😠😤😤😤😤😠
Lmao I work at chick fil a and it makes me laugh watching stuff like this
Do you have any tips?
Bonus: if you love CFA deluxes, you can order a chicken biscuit + sub white bun + LT + cheese. Voilà!
And, yeah, we do say something along the lines of “try another Chick-fil-A.” XD
Where was my invite?! You know my love for Chick Fil A...
Even if employees want to try hacks we have to be careful on which ones we do haha
And yes, the Chicken Egg and Cheese biscuit IS a menu item. :)
1. That sausage, egg, cbeese, and chicken biscuit....just order a chicken egg and cheese biscuit add sausage... That can be made.
2. The chicken egg and cheese biscuit IS a menu item. It also exists on on a bagel and muffin
There isnt a real way to ensure quality of the item and account foe food costs for most of these hacks which is why a lot,of restaurants wont do,them.
erin girl I wanted u to wipe ur foundation of ur lips so bad but I also was so annoyed because u still look so good 😩
Bruh yes hahahha it bugged me!
I think she is wearing light colored lipstick. Not foundation.
Egcgagf 🤠😭😍💕roomrjfitj
Loryn’s face when she took a sip/bite of something she didn’t like and then the face she makes when she likes it cracks me up!
At 5:00 i was like
Americans: oh I've never seen a frosted coffee before. So cool!!!
Canadians: whats a frosted coffee. I only know of an iced cap from tim hortens
Where my fellow canadians at
Do in-n-out!!!! Get the grilled cheese , the double double protein style attempt the 4x4 🥰
3:31 I work at chick fil a I’m pretty sure they’ll make that for you, literally just ask for a sausage egg cheese biscuit and tell them to add chicken 😂
Fries crushed/mixed into ice cream or milkshake ITS SO GOOOD and ask for extre whip cream YUUUUMMMM
Frosted Coffee- Iced Coffee & Ice Cream blended together.
Shakes are made with- shake base(milk), ice cream, and the flavor you choose unless it’s vanilla. The frosted ones are the flavor and ice cream(no shake base)
alyssa huggins im almost postive that the shake base is heavy cream, sugar, and maybe vanilla??
Wish i had chick-fil-a where i live
I use to drive over an hour in LA to go to one, so I feel your pain
Erin Robinson hahah it’s not even that ! There is no chick-fil-a in my whole country 😭
We just got a chick-fil-a in my area everyone hyped it so much it’s not that good
Aya’s Vibe where you from? btw that shit is fucking ass i've tried it when i went to USA bcz i'm from mexico
Sameee)):
Speaking as a chick fil a employee I can tell you that the frosted drinks are made with ice cream and also to get a grilled cheese just ask for a toasted bun with cheese on it. Also two real hidden menu items are 1. Frosted sunrise- orange juice instead of lemonade with ice cream 2. Frosted strawberry lemonade- lemonade and strawberry mix from the strawberry milkshake with ice cream.
I work at chick fil a and I wish I could sit down and tell her why everything is the way it is😂🤦🏼♀️
The chicken egg and cheese biscuit is on the menu actually!
You have to order a frosted lemonade with the strawberry in it it’s amazing! When I worked at CFA all the time we would make eachother these
You're not the first person to recommend this. I think I have to try it!
Erin Robinson definitely try it!! I’ve also heard asking for chocolate syrup in it is good too but I’m not a super big chocolate person so I’ve yet to check that out!!
Ashlie Down Main Street that became a menu item
1. The sample items: when there is extra breakfast food sometimes the employees randomly give it to customers or just put it in their bags as like a “happy surprise” some cfa’s don’t do it because some might expect it and a lot of the times their isn’t much left over or none at all because most things are made to order
Frosted coffee AKA Iced Capp from Tim Hortons lol ❤️
applesauce mixed into a vanilla shake is another hack... really good!!!!
It’s not for your strawwww 😭😭 we use it to mark strips or nuggets
Nilajaaa Andreaaa right 😩 idk who started that
And our frosted coffee is made with icedream not ice
EXACTLY LIKE IT LITERALLY SAYS IT ON THE BOX
Yeah, but it can still be used as a straw holder which is really creative and convenient.
that’s why they call it a hack?? lol it’s not that serious sis.
I work at Chick-fil-A and we actually use ice cream to make a frosted coffee and also the holes in the box are to mark what is in the box so we don’t give the wrong thing 🤣 and we do sometimes do special requests but we can’t mix cookies in because it will break our machine and some of the stuff is just hard to figure out how to ring up
I was about to say all the same things because I work there too and it’s been this way for my last 4 years 😂😂
It stresses me out they do this in the car lol
Is this my husband's secret username? Sounds exactly like what he said to me.

Amelie Clay yesss! I was irritated watching this video
yeah like we can’t serve certain things because they’re not on our menu. idek what store would do a cookie sundae. like i feel like they were coming after us bc the internet has come up with stupid concoctions and not every store can do that by policy
“frosted coffee is ice and coffee” ummm
Haley Sutherland like umm def not all our frosted beverages includes ice dream and or lemonade/coffee and whatever seasonal drink we get😂🤦🏽♀️
Jessica Padilla i cringed watching this video tbh
I used to work at CFA and we actually used to get a frosted coffee with Oreo and chocolate with whipped cream on top. The frosted coffee is actually made with ice cream and coffee
Ngl I work at a cfa so watching this was kinda cringy
Loishamit Colon I cringed too girl
Alex Fishman cinnamon cluster?
Ashley Murphy we discontinued that item awhile ago. It’s not coming back.
sad face... I'd love to see it come back! It's what brought us in on mornings.
hiii chick fil a employee here :)) just some notes for anyone interested in trying these
3. The chicken egg and cheese biscuit is in fact on our menu 😝
4. I’ve never heard anyone say barnyard biscuit but you can definitely get that. My location would assemble that for you upon request. It would simply be a chicken egg and cheese biscuit add sausage you could even add bacon if you want! 😄
The purpose for the hole however is to mark if the box contains nuggets, strips, or hash browns (other) 😝
I actually don’t know why they discontinued it but they brought back the brownie which is yummy if you ask for a kids cup of ice cream on the side 😛
I’m not speaking for all chick fil a restaurants and employees just me and my location :)) 🐔❤️ Also we’re not trained to just say no 😂 we truly try to please everyone with their request but unfortunately we can’t offer them all😪 very fun video though!
My fave Combo is BBQ sauce plus nuggets, but I’ve never had a biscuit there, clevver 3.0 baby!
You HAVE to have Chick Fil A breakfast. It's almost better than lunch IMO!
Erin Robinson will try ! :)
I work at cfa and the chicken egg and cheese is on the menu. Another hack that is amazing at cfa though is our frosted coffee but add crushed oreos and 3 pumps of chocolate mixed..... literally the best thing ever!!!
Yes Chicken Egg and cheese biscuit is an official menu item
Bethany Meitzler, it’s actually a chicken egg and cheese bagel.
As a former chick fila employee, the chicken egg and cheese biscuit is an official menu item.
I am a current team member
I worked at CFA for 6 years and made some WEIRD stuff for people, even in busy hours. It definitely depends on the stores, but one of my favorite things that I make myself still is scrambled eggs w/cheese (I know, not super weird). Or when I go for breakfast I get the chicken burrito with (diced) tomato and bacon.
We also made ourselves some weird stuff because after eating the same stuff at work so much you get bored, lol. I used to get a grilled lunch filet on a regular bun with a piece of cheese and put ranch sauce or dressing on it.
I’ve never been to a CFA that told me “no”. If I’ve ever had an inconvenience of any kind, they normally give a gift card for a free item or reward.
I’ve gotten samples without asking before because breakfast was just ending!!!!
Come to Canada we have ice caps its basically frosted coffee and there different flavors at Tim Horton's
The kids meal thing made me laugh cause I did that all the time when I was little. I had no idea that was a secret. 😂
Frosted coffees are actually the ice cream mixed with coffee!!
All of the frosted drinks are made with Chick-fil-A’s ice dream. At the location I work at, we have done frosted fantas for employees which are good, at my store, if it isn’t busy, we may do that for customers too. And we have cookies and cream milkshakes with Oreos.
i really feel like my chik-fil-a would do whatever i ask lol
Marie Jones Same but I’m in suburbs of Atlanta and the CFA down here are way better.
How about opening on a Sunday for once, and no more pushing rightwing garbage !!
Whatever you want, it's my Pleasure! I've worked there. And when I hold the door open for anyone anywhere and they say thank you. I say my Pleasure!!
I watched the mcgangbang part 3000 times it’s hilarious
“Just me and my meat having some fun” 🤭😬😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chicken egg and cheese biscuit is DEFINITELY a menu item. lol
I know this because I worked there 😁
I have worked at Chick-fil-A for 5 years. The CEC biscuit is on the menu and you can order that and add sausage and they will assemble it for you.
Our frosted beverages do not have ice in them. It is just the liquid base (I.e. lemonade or iced coffee) hand spun with ice cream.
Every location will do a “grilled cheese” but sometimes you have to order it as a toasted bun with 2 slices of cheese and not call it a “grilled cheese”
The cookie sundae was not in a milkshake; it was an ice cream cup with our cookie crumbles on top with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. You can still order this by ordering an ice cream cup with chocolate syrup and whipped cream (which we do for you) and then order a cookie on the side to crumble over the ice cream yourself.
Frosted coffees are icecream and coffee concentrate mixed together 😉
My daughter is GF and she doesnt like the chicken egg scramble bowls. One day I asked if I could get a grilled chicken egg and cheese but in a bowl and it was so much better! They melted the American cheese on top and it had way more flavor!
i work at a chick-fil-a and i would hate y’all because this is so extra
@4:30 a frosted coffee is icedream and coffee blended together its also super good if you ask for vanilla pumps in it
One is getting the grilled chicken getting ranch and buffalo sauce and shaking it IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD
As a cfa employee, I feel really bad for the food prep people that had to make all the special food 😖. There arent really any “special menu items” you can order stuff like spicy nuggets you just have to wait, at least at my location.
Why do a lot of people in the food industry always act like their job is the hardest in the world? Girl please. We all have annoying job duties.
Not even complaining about my job, i have it easy as an order taker but ok go off fam
Same with getting any biscuit on a bagel or on a bun.
frosted coffee isn’t coffee blended with ice, it’s blended with ice cream
I work at a chickfila & we serve grilled cheese. the frosted coffee is coffee base with ice cream. I really recommend the frosted lemonade. The reakfast chicken filet is supposed to be small since its for breakfast. but you should def try frosted lemonade
Hi Erin I love u and Loren so much❤️💞💝💕💘I was ur first like💗
You're cute! We appreciate you!
Omg Erin that means so much u are the best and my favorite RUclipsr❤️
I'm so glad Ii watched this WHILE eating.. otherwise I would of been a broken puddle after the Barnyard Biscuit.
I am actually happy for you as well. I watched it this morning, while starving, and it was THE WORST!
The frosted coffee isn’t made with ice it’s ice cream mixed with coffee!
So, you're saying it shouldn't be on the breakfast menu?
Oh no ice cream is a 24/7 affair
I work at Chick Fil A in Appleton Wisconsin. We are not trained to say try it at another location. But we do take special requests and we are able to do some of them but not all of them. Mainly with food and not the shakes.
