So glad you did Protest. One of the greatest bands of all-time. Volition is my personal favorite, followed by Scurrilous, but all their albums are great. You gotta react to Slice the Cake! Do The Mountains of Man, The Lantern, or Unending Waltz.

Last time I saw Protest live, Rody must have had a bit too much to drink because he tried to stage dive directly into the mosh pit I was in. What a madman. Nobody else tried to catch him, so it was just Rody and I sprawled out on the beer-soaked floor amidst the trampling feet. He hasn't come back to town since lol.
Saw them back in 06 on warped tour. Had loved Kezia so much it will always be my Fav album by them it’s got a special place in my heart. I fell of them too over the years.
I just got to see them on their 10 year anniversary tour for Fortress but Kezia will always be my favourite album. It changed me musically too. But their whole discography is really amazing to me.

this is one of their best songs, but I honestly can't stand this album. fortress and media are way better. volition is also great, excited to hear what they put out this year

Protest the Hero and Symphony X were my gateway bands into Progressive music, and both are still in my top 3 or 5 easily (PTH definitely #1).
