    What an incredible skinny-long build. I know those challenges that come with the restrictions of your real estate… but spot on for what they had to work with and I love seeing the risk takers out there going large on what they love! Thanks for going on this adventure!

    Troy this is amazing and look awesome. I thing I caught was the UV should be flipped around to maximize efficiency and to ensure to air pockets or have it vertically with the in flow at the bottom and out flow at the top

    Nice work Troy! Maybe if you try to clean a bit that back wall of Caroline algae the Alkalinity conception would be less and easier to stabilise. Keep up the great work it's looking great, would be nice to see it in the 3 years mark . Thanks Sam!

    Great job! Did the UV sterilizer fix the disease outbreak or did Troy pull his surviving fish and let the aquarium go fallow? And does he quarantine his fish now or is the UV sterilizer keeping disease under control?

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  10 месяцев назад

      Yeah great question. After losing quite a few fish, Troy then added the UV and restocked. I don’t believe the system ever went properly fallow

    Hi, I am about to set a tank here in Melbourne and I am also new to the city. I heard at somepoint you said that someone sells pre mixed water named "Bruce" also that is cost effective? How I can contact him? Thank you great videos and just excited to start a new project here in Australia

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  9 месяцев назад

      Exciting times! Bruce is my water delivery guy and he is amazing, however he is a Geelong local and rarely delivers to Melbourne. You want to reach out to a guy named Anthony Jeffery who does water delivery in Melbourne :)

    Hey mate would you recommend switching to natural sea water? I’m using Red Sea bucket atm 4 foot tank.

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  4 месяца назад +1

      I would, but only if you have access to a high quality natural sea water

    Pretty sure having the UV plumbed like that doesn’t allow the whole unit to be full of water.

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  Год назад +2

      It does, as the water had to go above it to return to the tank 👍🏻
