Experimented with some Vietnamese dishes from my childhood and finally fulfilled a goal I had for myself since I was young 👩🏻‍🍳
The menu was…
* cà tím nướng mỡ hành: grilled eggplant with scallion oil and a light radiah soup
* thịt kho tàu: braised pork belly with a tempura quail egg
* bún bò huề: lemongrass beef noodle soup with blood sausage and Vietnamse “ham” aka chà
* chè đậu trắng: black eyed peas rice pudding with durian ice cream
