Anyone can rock Silver Mountain and smell very very good but not everyone can appreciate the safistication, depth, and complexity 1872 has to offer. 1872 is definitely a statement piece and you’ll get mixed opinions from women. Some will love it…some will say it’s ok….and others will say it’s smells like a old man.

I picked-up a 4oz bottle of Royal Water for something like $105 back in early 2015. I wasn't expecting much, but it's a brilliant herbal-citrus scent with a Classic Gentleman's vibe, but by no means does it feel dated. Performance could be better (it's not terrible) but it became one of my most frequently worn Summer scents for a two or three Summers. As for Clive Christian...well, I've never smelled this one, but my past experienced with CC is that smell great...but I could never justify the massively steep asking price. In this case, Royal Water is highly under-rated - get a bottle if you can get it for a great price. Speaking of under-rated...I didn't wear Creed Himalaya much because, when I was in a mood for a similar type of Fall scent, I usually reached for Bois du Portugal or even Taborome. Imagine my shock when I started wearing it again early this year...what the hell is wrong with folks, Himalaya is an incredible woody-aromatic Fall gentleman's scent. Cheers!
Hi Jim, Royal Water is probably the most underrated Creed Fragrance and I like it that way. I know I have praised it in my videos but I would like too keep it under the radar so it doesn’t become like Aventus. That classic vibe might help in this matter as many people prefer modern fragrances.

Royal Water is my fav Creed freshie and does smell of Royalty while Spice and Wood is my fav Creed spicy.
