Saw a female vascular surgeon in St. Louis for myself and my friend's daughter. She was fabulous and helped both of us. Off propranolol after undergoing treatment with her!!!!
Super appreciate this Spotlight!! Dr. Chan is my vascular surgeon and I am getting stented for May Thurner in just a few days. Hoping to be one of the lucky patients whose POTS improves drastically. This could be a new frontier of POTS treatment for those of us with hypermobility.
Hi Sarah, I just took my daughter (she's 18 and has POTS) to be tested for MTS, and it came back positive. They suggested stenting but she's nervous because it's permanent and they don't know the long term outcome of stenting. Did you find improvement in your symptoms? She's reluctant to go through with the procedure because it's not a guarantee. Was it worth it for you?
I don’t have any pain during sex, but I do have POTS and weeks-long bouts of persistent pelvic congestion with arousal. I have Non Length Dependent SFN, Cauda Equina Syndrome with Anachroiditis, and POTS.
I wanted to know if pelvic congestion syndrome can cause an ovarian vein thrombosis which that's what they found first with me then they discovered I had pelvic congestion syndrome later on, which I was reading it can affect the ovarian vein.
I have undifferentiated dysautonomia and was just diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome. I know this was posted almost a year ago but if they still need patients i would love to be put in touch!

You should definitely try to find a interventional radiologist who can do a diagnostic venogram to see if you have compression
