My Uncle Nick had polio when he was a kid the left side of his mouth was affected I had a second cousin who got hit with polio she lost the use of her legs and feet she has done very well for a polio survivor she got into wheelchair racing and has won several titles and championships a few years ago she retired from wheelchair racing and started coaching junior wheelchair racers.
