Hello from Adelaide. Loved the video. It was a joy to watch you backlapping and updating the machine and mowing the lawn with it (I know I'm sick) What a beautiful lawn and edging. Like a carpet.

I’ll definitely be doing this in the future. Need to do some modifications to the back lapping machine as well. Thanks for supporting the Chanel Sean 😃

Nice video thanks but I haven't found a back lapping video yet that sets up how to start. They just get straight into applying paste. Can I assume before you run the wheel in reverse that you set the wheel up as if you were going to cut a lawn? i.e. set it up to be cutting paper (which it may not do well if it needs a back lap), or do you set the wheel a little more aggressively against the bed knife so the back lap process seats itself in as the paste wears metal away? Appreciate your further advice thanks.

G’day mate. A very valid comment. Thanks for pointing this out. I personally like to start by setting the reel up as parallel to the bed knife as possible, if that makes sense and with zero contact as you will find if it's tight, when you add past it will increase the resistance and more than likely over load or stall the back laper or drill. I'll work on doing another video with this in mind in the near future. Please fell free to ask me questions on the processes 😃👍🏻
