    There was a time, when the Thai baht is 1:1 to the Philippine Peso. Imagine, superior Thai products on a super bargain. Well, the exchange rate at the airport was different, yoy get 50% less. Your 1,000 becomes 500, but it was still a great deal, given that everything in Thailand is better than what your pesoses can buy in humid Cebu or in super congested Manila.

    • @gowithmel
      @gowithmel  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! Naabutan pa naman when exchange rate as at around 1.2-1.3. Kaya super mura lahat sa Thailand that time, but even if at 1.6 Thailand is much cheaper parin than here in the Philippines. #truth

      Kung itatago po ng matagal, yes advisable po sya for investment, pero kung kami lang po ah. Go for Saudi at Japan Gold mas mabilis po tumaas ang value. 😊

      @@gowithmelIts just beatiful for daily use,i dont agree with you.23 karat is the most beatiful gold there is.

    • @gowithmel
      @gowithmel  5 месяцев назад

      @freigeist5161 it's too soft. It deforms easily.

    • @Mr8675309ful
      @Mr8675309ful 5 месяцев назад

      @@gowithmel if you are buying smaller chains, yes it can be a bit soft, but the bigger chains, no. I have a bunch of solid 5 Baht, 10 Baht & even 20 Baht chains & they are durable. Some I have had for more than 35 years & they are still good. I only had one, 3 Baht bracelet that became deformed because I was too lazy to take it off properly. I ended up trading it in for a 20 Baht necklace.

    • @Mr8675309ful
      @Mr8675309ful 5 месяцев назад

      @@gowithmel Also, it depends on the style of the necklace or bracelet. I pretty much stay away from the 'fluff' & stick with the solid designs.
