Can't believe you made it out of Turner's Station in one piece!!! I use to work at the old GM plant in Dundalk. Now I'm at a GM plant in Indiana. I miss home, seafood, O's and Ravens.

Why do y'all have your bait so far apart? You need to shorten the distance.

    Trot line…not Trout line.

You cannot lay crab gear within 100 FEET of another crabber's set gear (not 100 yds). Also, in Maryland, Recreational crabbers can keep ZERO FEMALE CRABS (including peelers and soft crabs). This has been in effect for at least 10 years now, maybe 15. We have to throw the females back so the Commercial crabber next to us can catch her and keep her. 🙄🤪

Ok I've been gone for 7 years I never keep those females anyway. Thanks for for updates on regulations!!

@epicoutdooradventures1892 Me either, even when we were allowed to keep them. I would, however, keep a few peelers and sluff them out for softies. The late summer doublers are almost always a peeler being protected by the Jimmy. Tight lines, friend.

the 100ft is how far you have to be away from commercial crabbers and there is no regulation on how close you recreational crabs have to be feom each other

@@ryanribb5607 Copied from the MD eRegulations: It is Illegal for a Recreational Crabber:
      To sell crabs.
To possess an egg-bearing (sponge) crab or any female hard or peeler crab.
To set or fish a trotline, collapsible trap or crab net ring within 100 feet of another individual’s set gear.
