Massive amount of work goes on at Jimbaran all day every day. It's weird because back in the 70s it was just a real Balinese village area and no-one went there. In fact we weren't really brave enough to trespass into large parts of it. Then suddenly a few seafood restaurants sprang up at the beach (at Pantai Jimbaran) and voila! Look at it now (especially at night).
Wah look at that sailfish (?). Looked like a barracuda there too. Wow buy that mahi-mahi for sure. The sellers aren't very talkative are they - not keen to mention prices on camera because the dopey bules will come later and pay more.

They also buy it in the fish market, so where is the difference?
Most importantly here. Because of the realistic fear from salmonella they fry their seafood dry...it's no good.
Sure, you can go to a first class restaurant or Sushi place and get real fresh produce there, but this will amount to more than I would pay back home...
