      In the context of her testimony, she was speaking to the fact that Adam was a good father by his own choosing. Her point was clear, Adam could have easily run off to "sow his wild oats" so to speak, thus abandoning the mother of his son and ditching his fatherly responsibilities as many young fathers do, however, Adam did not do that. He was a constant presence in Tristan's life because he loved Tristan and wanted to be a good father.
      She was testifying that no matter what lead him to commit such horrific acts in August 2014, it does not negate the fact that Adam was present in a loving and caring manner in his son's life since birth despite having many opportunities to do otherwise.

      Cat S. Yes, he loved his son so much, he made him a orphan, that's pure love. You know, it would have been better for all of them if he had not had anything to do with them, at least they would probably be alive right now!

      @@cats.6901 no, not really, a bulk of the problems were due to him being a dead beat father. He didn't work or support his family & lived at the home for free. Once the relationship was coming to an end, his freeloading was also coming to an end. Looking after the child here and there does not equate to taking care of your parental responsibilities!! He is disgusting, and this woman was also disgusting for making such an insensitive comment.

      He could very well be on psychotropic medication that causes a flat affect. He could also be trying to maintain his composure for the court. No matter what he expresses, people will hang him for it. If he cried, people would say he was faking. If he showed anger, they would say he was aggressive. It seems like his baseline is naturally even tempered anyway. Family testified that he never apologized. He tried to apologize when given the chance to speak and the family lashed out at him. There is nothing he can say, do, or express emotionally that would make any of this better for anyone.

    • @gojobuddy
      @gojobuddy 7 лет назад +2

      Gail Clark It didn't quite happen like that. When was it that his Ex moved on? Unless I'm missing something they had only lived in Fl for 2 months. Adam did most of the move since Greg had just had back surgery. Megan had just started dating Leonard for what a couple days? When was it that she broke up with Adam? From my understanding he moved to Fl with Megan and her family to be with Megan and his son as a family. He was with Megan at the time. I don't know if it's just me or did I miss the part when they ever broke up? That was the reason he kept calling and texting her the night she stayed out with Leornard. In fact he even had a conversation with Leonard that night. I never heard about him being controlling either. Jealous absolutely. I think that's what caused this entire thing was jealousy and he probably felt used and betrayed and snapped. This is probably why the jury spared him the death penalty. Even though I don't think I would have when it came to Margaret. Since he had plenty of time to cool off.

    • @Dragonfly5455
      @Dragonfly5455 7 лет назад +1

      gojobuddy I am referring to the fact she was developing a new love interest. They asked him to move to FL to stay close to his autistic son. Not to necessarily stay in Megan's life

    • @gojobuddy
      @gojobuddy 7 лет назад +1

      Gail Clark They were on again when they moved to Fl. The only way they could move to Fl and take Tristan was with his permission. According to PA law. I'm saying that they had been on and off again many times before. He was never said to be controlling before but quite the opposite. Referred to as being mellow. Why would he be any different this time? You just assume they were broken up? I heard it was for 2 days. Since she became interested in Mr Leonard.

    • @gojobuddy
      @gojobuddy 6 лет назад +1

      Gail, I take back anything I've said concerning Adam and the false love he had for the mother of his son and his son for that matter. I was late watching the trial video's and started off watching him on the stand with his lies.At that time I didn't watch the details of what he had actually done during this 4-5 days with Tristan. After seeing some of the facts. It made my blood boil. The news isn't always as accurate in reporting as they should be.At this point I don't care if she was cheating on him right in front of him. How could he have murdered this entire family? A family that had been good to him throughout the years. Being bullied doesn't quite cut it. Since him and Megan had been on and off so many times. Why was this time any different? He had been sleeping with Megan's friend in PA. There's no excuse for what he did. Those lies of self defense!!! Give me a break. Greg more then likely was trying to protect his daughter and Grandson. Then he laid in wait with plenty of time to think about what he had done and murders his son's grandmother? Not to mention Megan, he knew she didn't have a gun. Quite frankly, I'm surprised he didn't kill Tristan. Had he been able to tell his story. No doubt he would of killed him too.

I'm happy to hear this little boy is now in the loving arms of his family members and has been adopted. That his POS ex-father will have zero contact with him ever again. I'm sure no ones blaming Adam's family but I don't believe his upbringing had anything to do with the way he was raised. His brother seems to of been successful so there's no reason Adam couldn't have made something of himself. Besides becoming a murderer. I just hope that all these families and their family members of all those effected by these atrocious murders. Can somehow move forward and not let this monster take up anymore of your lives.

      From what I read at first she said it was his son, then said it wasn't. According to his friend's and family he always knew Tristan was his. Not that Adam tells the truth much. Just as he claims to of done all these things cause he didn't want Tristan to be subjected to or around all the blood. etc. Now I believe he committed 3 of the 4 murders right in front of Tristan then went out partying, shopping, moving cars, hanging over at the neighbors etc. Leaving Tristan at home alone. Probably locked in his room. It's all such a travesty. If he really loved his son. He wouldn't have murdered his entire family in front of him. I think he was trying to clean it up enough so that he could leave and get a head start and claim someone else murdered them. I don't think he's shown any remorse.

    My knowledge of death penalty cases where the jury decides the penalty mitigation attorneys are like so important to this part of the trial in this case this guy needs an appeal on the even though I did get a life sentence I mean this is so sad not sad like in boo-hoo sad sad like as in like in adequate in efficient definitely definitely would not save their name and phone number
    Things that I’ve learned one he plan on doing a crime don’t go to Walmart before hand to don’t go there after the crime either
    Make sure you stock up on groceries and sodas etc. TP all those good things just like you’re like you know preparing for a storm because that’s basically what it is when you set yourself up in that situation
    I truly believe this guy was definitely defending himself with the other guy and then it blew up and do something else something he couldn’t control because his demeanor is not just because of the try I do believe that he was probably bullied as a kid he definitely had some in poverty situation with his mother his mother choose to marry or be with a man who really didn’t give a hoot about her kids and she stayed with him just so that she could keep a roof over their head the problem is there was no emotional attachment going on there
    I truly believe that he cared about his girlfriends family so much that I think he was actually fighting to keep all of them and in the end he lost them in the end.
    It’s amazing how the relationships go to the wayside and when people are needs such as this situation the poor guy has very few people to sit there on the mitigation side and actually really put the words in the jury easier on who he truly is and what he’s truly been through in his life has gone down this really Mgr path with very little exuberance or goals
    The guy followed his girlfriend down to Florida because his girlfriend and her family were coming to Florida it was his only chance to actually be near his son people get upset when fathers don’t stick around for the kids and that this guy did and he ended up living in a household in which she was alone no matter how full the house was no matter how big the house was he was so alone he was probably better friends with the dogs I guess that’s why I chose to make sure they had homes.

      No ones blaming the victim. Some people do have a breaking point though. It's hard to believe all these people that knew not only Adam but Megan and Adam together and him with Tristan. Yet not one person describe him as being aggressive, abusive, controlling a jerk or a whack job.. Not a one but a good dad and mellow, laid back person. They always do warn you about the quiet ones. It sounds to me like he snapped. After moving to Fl with Megan and her family. After 2 months she's dating a new guy and refusing to answer his phone calls. I don't see any other reason. I do think he had plenty of time to calm down before Margaret got home. I don't think I would of given him life on that murder.

      @charmndenise1705 6 лет назад +7

      Barno Fischer If you knew anything about the case you wouldn't have such opinions. He staked out the house for hours waiting for Megan's mother to get in from work then he went on attack mode. Beating her with a hammer in the garage before she could make it inside. Thats premeditation...Not to mention he was on the run from authorities the night prior for cutting Megan. After the murders he stays in the house with his son, sold the family's belongings including their dogs on Craigslist and ordered pizza. As if that's not enough, he went and hung out with a couple of their neighbors.Snapped??? GTFOH. That's EVIL!!!! I don't care if she was swinging on poles, or ran an escort service online, NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE ANOTHER'S LIFE! You can't justify slaughtering a family no matter how you try to spin it! He would've gotten the chair but 1 out 11 jurors held out.
